i just got my frist iphone and its becoming a headach anytime i try to download or update anything through the app store or itunes it trys to download then says "cannot connect to Itunes" itunes works on my computer and my songs and apps i buy off of it with my apple ID will work on the phone if i sync the phone and computer. i need some help im new to apple products and dont want this to turn me away from apple phone

and back to a android phone

Are your iPhone on Wi-Fi while updating/purchasing?

Most apps over 20 MB using 3G will have problem downloading.

 

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)

Note: You will not lose any data.

 

If resetting didn't helped, try Settings > Store > Apple ID > sign out and then sign in again.
