My Iphone 4s slipped out of my hand the other day into a big puddle and sadly drying it out done nothing..

 

I was wondering if the year warranty covers water damage or not? I read somewhere else that it covers 4s water damage but no other iphones?

I would happily pay for the parts should it not be covered by warranty because buying a whole new phone is a bit expensive. And to think.. i cancelled my insurance 2 days before Will it cost to get my Iphone 4S repaired if lesson taught...

The standard 1 year warranty covers manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover water damage or anyother damage fully.  Check with your Apple genius bar/store as there is a replacement for lower cost than the full price for such events but the store in the country where you live, if not the US, will have to quote the exact cost.

I live in the UK and as far as I know there isn't any nearby. I've checked but can't find any. Any idea how much a replacement screen would cost?

Apple does not replace screens, they replace devices.

A little effort in searching will reveal a listing of Apple stores in the UK.

Just under £150. That gets you a replacement iPhone. Apple don't repair screens.  Find your nearest Apple Store - there are people around the world who would kill for the relatively tiny distances we worry about in the UK.
