WIFI and Burtooth nightmare iPhone 3G

Updated to 3.0, my wifi and bluetooth is no longer working. I have rebooted, restored, used a beta copy, and nothing. Went to the store, and all I was told was to make an appointment. I just bought my phone on Saturday and the apple coders found a way to brick my phone. Any one else have this issue? Or tired of this crap for that matter. This is very microsoft of apple, dont you think????????
