I have an iPhone 4S on Sprint. My experience with the phone has been mixed. At first, the phone kept turning on and off, but all I had to do was have it replaced. Now, my new iPhone doesn't connect to the Sprint network, even when it records two bars and 3G connection. I am in my office, but everyone else on Sprint has great service.
The day after I got my phone, a tower went down near my house. I called Sprint, and they said it would be fixed the day after my 14-day warranty expired. Convenient, huh?
I have tried resetting the network settings, dialing ##873283# over Wi-Fi and 3G, and resetting the phone. Nothing works. As I said before, all the other people here have great service. They all have either AT&T or Sprint, and almost all of them have an iPhone.
Please let me know what else I can do.
There is no 14 day warranty.
Sprint most likely has a 14 day return period.
All new iPhones come with a 1 year warranty from Apple.
Even if it were a refurbished device it would still have a 90 day warranty.
I'm talking about the 14 day return period, where I can cancel service without the ETF (although there are other ways).
And that has nothing to do with Apple or the iPhone.
If you want to terminate service, do so.
If you want to troubleshoot the issue that is occurring or have Apple confirm that a hardware issue does or does not exist with your device, take it to Apple.
