I had bought my iphone 2 months back.And yesterday I had noticed that there is a small white dot where the network carrier name is displayed.It is clearly visible when I set the wall paper as any black photo or dark coloured photo.And it is also visible when I switch on the phone.It is visible always.I had spoken to the Iphone customer care and they said it is a hardware problem and that they will replace my phone.My problem is that I am not satisfied with the way the are replacing it.They are just going to give a phone in hand.It is not a box piece.My question is why they cannot give me a box piece? I had bought a box piece.And in the previous discussions there people who have had problem with the replaced iphones.I want them to replace it with a box piece and take back the old box peice which has a problem.
APPLE HAS TO REPLACE WITH A BOX PIECE.
When its a deffect why dont they replace it with a box piece.
Apple does NOT replace phones with brand new units. To my knowledge they never have. We're also not from Apple, only users.
If you want them to replace it with a brand new device, speak directly with Apple about getting it done, but they will most likely say no

A simple question I would like to ask is.There are a lot of people in this forum who have got their phones replaced and after that they still have issues with the replaced ones also.Why is that most of them have gone on to replace the phone twicce or thrice,etc.Which means to say that I have to also run into the store very often because the replaced phones have a problem most of the time.It was not my fault,so why cant they give a box piece.They are neither giving a box piece nor are they extending the warranty for the replaced phone.
What sort of a service is?
And suppose I loose my phone,I would not even have a hard copy as proof to say its mine.
I hope the customer relationship manager or executive in Apple does something about this rather than saying its our policy when they no its purely not the customer`s fault.

Its easy to say no we cannot replace it with brand new units,but my question here is WHY SHOULD I NOT GET A NEW UNIT.
When I have bought a new iphone I deserve a new one.
