Why my post concerning software has just desapeared iPhone 3G

Was it politically incorrect ? I just asked if theres available basic, but critical set of apps for Iphone. The answer from neuroanatomist was - NO, partially due to Apple, partially due to third parties .. Then the post ceased to exist. Any comments ?

Against what rules precisely ? Can you be more specific ? What is wrong with asking questions about software availability for Iphone ?

Had you asked if these basic but essential were available in the App Store it might have slipped under the radar.
But any hint of there being any alternative to the App Store is forbidden, and if you happen to mention any application that Apple has either A) already banned, or B) has secretly been developing will get it removed.
Since I didnt see the original post, I can only speculate as to the cause.
Why not re-phrase it as a Things Id Like to See post or asking for help in locating them in the app store.
