I have an Iphone3gs that is unlocked for T-mobile and it will just shut down randomly and my battery life will be betweent 40%-80%. I have never had this problem before, I don't want to mess it up to where i can't use my phone anymore.

probably T-mobile's network messing it up. lol

Could be a battery going bad but try recalibrating the battery meter... fully discharge (till it shuts off) followed by a full charge (1oo%). You may need to do this 2-3 times, if this is the problem.

If i reset my phone will it go back to the regular carrier which is At&t or will it still be unlocked with tmobile? Because I feel it just needs to be reset.
