So... my iPhone was stolen today because the employee at Canada's Wonderland took my phone from me and "lost it". Whoever stole my iPhone turned it off and has removed the SIN card. I can not track it with iCloud. The people who stole my phone are able to connect it to iTunes and completely WIPE my phone, erasing all of the information, registered information and everything else. Why is this possible? Why does Apple make iTunes so anybody can steal any Apple product and erase everything, claiming it as there own. It is so stupid. Is it a marketing scheme. Can somebody please tell me why Apple makes it possible for anybody to erase iPhone's, iPod's, and iPad's just by using iTunes?
This can happen with ANY maker's phone. Your phone was stolen. It's sad. Report it to your carrier and change all your passwords.
It's unfortunate, but get over it and move on with life. Many more important things to worry about.
Best,
GDG

Let me understand - someone employed by Canada's Wonderland stole your phone... and this is Apple's problem? A "marketing scheme"??
Perhaps you should be asking why Canada's Premier Amusement Park employs thieves. No one here or at Apple can answer that question.

Im Sorry I'll try to clairfy. I'm not blaiming Apple for my phone being stolen. Im not blaming Apple for iCloud not being able to track my phone.
I am blaiming Apple for allowing anybody who has stolen a iOS device to restore it and use it as their own by using iTunes. <----- This is the issue. It doesn't make sense that anybody can restore any iOS device whether it is their's or not by simply using iTunes. It makes it so easy to unlock the phone, makes it untracable and easy to sell it to somebody else.

Reply something about Why it my stolen iPhone can be plugged into somebody else's computer cnnected to iTunes and completely wiped without trace. Why thiis even possble or Post a New Thread
