Why did my iphone speaker stop working iPhone 4S

I've had my iphone 4s for a few weeks and all of a sudden this morning the speaker won't work fully. You can hear it like the sound settings are on low (but it's up all the way). How do I fix this? I've tried a million things, blow dryer, tissue. I haven't spilled any water on it or anything, it just randomly started doing that this morning.

Basic [Please purchase a license if using PhraseExpress for non-personal tasks] troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?

I've already tried that and it didn't work.
