These numbers has been appearing on my bill and I don't know why.... I think it has to do with the phone's setting/iMessage. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm using tmobile and the only thing they said they can do is upgrade my plan to the international plan or call/text them myself, but then I'd be charged even more. I've looked it up on the internet, but it doesn't show any solutions. Please help!!
If you use an iPhone, with a non-official iPhone carrier, Apple warns that you may be charged for the SMS's required to activate these servicers. That's what is happening to you. So either don't use that stuff, pay, or switch carriers.
I just called Apple support and they said they had no idea what it was and never warned me about anything. I told them I was using Tmobile, too
wjosten just told you what is happening. You can't use facetime or imessage with a non-supported carrier without having to pay for international SMS to the activation server, and T-Mobile is not supported in the US.
That doesn't make sense to me because I'm sure I use imessage everyday so that's about 2000 texts from iMessage per month, but the bill ONLY shows like 23. If I were to be charged using facetime/iMessage, why aren't I getting charged for all the others and just 23?
Oh, and all my friends who are using iphone 4s's are also on the tmobile plan, too and they're not getting charged. In fact, I use imessage to contact them too.
