I don't remember my password, and my laptop broke, and i can't restore it on itunes. I called Apple Support, and they're charging me $30 to help me find out what my password is... Is there another way to retrieve my password?

If you mean you forgot your passcode lock, Apple won't know what it is either.  If you forgot your passcode you'll have to restore the phone on the last computer it was synced with. If you don't have access to the last computer it was synced with, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device.  See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212.

Apple support does not know your passcode and cannot help you find it.

 

You will have to restore it on itunes,  There is no other way.
