What happened to my memory iPhone 4S

My iphone has an 64gb memory, however when I plug it into itunes it says i only have 0.61gb of free space. I have only used 24 gb for my music and photos. But it appears on itunes that some 'other' content is taking up 39gb of my iphone. I have very few apps. What happened to my iphone???

There's a graphical representation at the bottom on whats taking up most of your space. Can you provide a screenshot?
