We are creating a iPhone Dongle that would feed real time data to iPhone using the 30Pin connector . What is the communication protocol that we could use to transfer data from Dongle to iPhone ?. We are looking at transferring 48- 64kbps. Is Serial interface a possible solution ?
Just us simple users here. Shouldn't you be posting in the Developers' forum?
The documentation you need can be found here:
You'll need to be a member of the iOS Developer Program to have access to the iOS SDK and much of the documentation you'll need.

The serial connection uses a standard 19200 baud 8N1 protocol (the speed can be increased up to 57600 but tends to become unstable).
