Is there a way to print a backlog of messages sent between my iphone and another iphone that were using imessage?

I can't think of any way. If you sync regularly they will be in your backup, so perhaps a backup extractor will do what you want.

I guess you could always screen shot the images of the texts, then print them...  But that could take an amazingly long time. Best bet is going to be to use a backup extractor, like Lawrence said, to pull them from your latest iTunes backup.  Good luck!

If you have a PC you can use TouchCopy, for a Mac use PhoneView.
