I have never seen a signature included with text messages.

You could use the text shortcut feature. Settings>General>Keyboard>Shortcut. Create one for your signature.

It does not give u that option on the 4S.

It's never been a feature of ANY iPhone model (or any other cell phone I know of).  Since texts are limited to 160 characters, why would you waste space with a signature when your identity is obvious from the CID of the message?

 

Don't hold your breath on this being "fixed" unless you have a CPR-rescue team nearby.

 

You do know that signatures are included in the email function, right?
