When using my iPhone 4 to do anything like listen to music, watch a video or just using apps, the volume bar disappears from the screen and the sound stops. When I get texts and things sometimes it just vibrates and doesn't make a noise. I know the speakers still work because when I go to the settings and touch the sound bar it makes the test noise to show you how loud it will be.
This problem is the same when using my headphones. I've tried syncing it to my laptop & making sure it has the latest iOS version. Can anyone help or suggest anything?
Thanks
I actually had the same issue with my first iPhone 4. I tried to restore with a fresh ipsw but that didn't work. I ended up taking it to Apple and they exchanged it for me. I suggest you do the same. (:
Ah ok thanks, I did worry that was the case but have been in denial & hoping that it'll sort itself out. Shall take it in tomorrow. Thankyou!
