voicemail button not working-PLEASE NOT DELETE iPhone

I have LEGITIMATELY unlocked my iPhone THROUGH ITUNES via a STANDARD REQUEST PROCESS sent from TELSTRA to APPLE which I PAID MORE THAN A HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR. My iPhone was then UNLOCKED through ITUNES via an update that APPLE activated for my iPhone.
APPLE UNLOCKED IT FOR ME!!
Now on to the issue.
Since I changed from Telstra to Three (who also have their own iPhone plans), the voicemail button does not work. How can this be fixed?
If it helps, Threes voicemail number is 333 where Telstras is 101.

I dont think it can be. Have you tried contacting Three for help since they actually provide the voicemail?

No not yet- mainly because three dont sell the phone they only sell plans designed for the iPhone. Surely a different voicemail number shouldnt cause such an issue though. That would be a major flaw.
