Using iPhone 4 keyboard causes iOS to crashgo to Home screen after firmware upgrade-HELP

Hi all,

I have iPhone 4.

When I had iOS 4 installed I had no problems.

Once I upgraded to iOS 5, it all went downhill! Everytime I use the keyboard, after a few strokes, the system crashes.

Open applications close, Apple logo appears, then it goes to Home screen, and sometimes it just goes straight to Home screen.

I tried restoring my iPhone using iTunes several times, without backup, and had no luck.

Currently I'm running iOS 5.1.1.

The weird thing is, when using the keypad to dial, this never happens no matter what I click and how rapidly I do.

I'd appreciate any help.

If you've restored as new and not used ANY backup, and you still have the issue, then you'll need to bring your phone in to Apple for evaluation.
