I'm a spoken word performer. My point and shoot takes good enough video of me, but being in the audience, people whispering next to the camera are as loud as my voice from the stage on the footage we get. And few (if any) point and shoot cams accept external mic input.
So when the 4S came out with good vid capability it occurred to me that if the video recording function will accept bluetooth headset info as the sound input, I'd get a very clear recording.
Will this work?
NOTE: I've asked the geniuses at my local Apple Store and they don't know.
Seriously, doesn't anyone - after six more months of a new version of iOS being out, and now a new HD+ iPad being released - if bluetooth microphones can be used during video recording with EITHER an iPhone 4s or the latest iPad (March, 2012).
I've found several threads on this and NONE have any answers. It seems like a fairly straight-forward question to me!
