how can i unlock my iphone 4 with the help of at&t via sending me the unlocking code to my email?

There is no "unlocking code". Ask AT&T to arrange for your phone to be unlocked, if it is eligible. The unlocking will take place through iTunes.

Ask AT&T for support with this since it is their service. Or do a web search. I'm pretty sure I have seen people talking about it there. e.g. http://techland.time.com/2012/04/11/unlock-an-att-iphone-in-5-easy-steps/
