unlimited texting iPhone 3G

In the US, at any rate, I dont believe AT&T has yet specified what the text messaging limits and costs will be.

Currently, AT&T charges $5/month for 200 messages, and $20/month for unlimited texting. Its likely, but not confirmed, that these charges will apply to the 3G iPhone plans.

ok...but i was wondering what my total bill will be...minutes + data + texts
do the texts come bundled with the data plan all for a certain amount? ($20 for example)

Details have not been released by AT&T, except for the unlimited data plan ($30/month). Youll have to have a voice plan as well, and texts may or may not be included (speculation says no).

We dont know this for certain but it looks like the texting has been removed from the special iPhone data plan. the first gen iPhone data plan includes 200, but it looks like the 3G iPhone will follow the same plan structures as other 3G phones, ie, $30 for data ($45 for business), $20 for unlimited texting, and whatever voice option you choose (lowest is $39.99).
