Unable to repair my iPhone 4 in India though bought in Hong Kong

Nobody here expects you to do anything, and nobody here works for Apple. The Apple warranty is not international.

Hey m8 have the same issue but my problem is the sound from speaker is very muffed and sometimes jst not coming. I went to apple store located in Mumbai and got the sae bad news, mine was purchased in USA. I would suggest u raher get it repair from a unauthorize mobile store or else send ur phone back to any other country where apple has their retail store. I am trying the former one as the later can take months of time to get it soughted.

That won't work either. The iphone warranty is limited to the original country of purchase. You, and the OP, would need to ship the phone to someone you know in the original country the phone was purchased to be taken in for evaluation. Then they will need to ship the phone back. Shipping will be at your own expense.

When it comes to Apple, regardless to all its their economy and policy. Its kinda crazy that they dont have their own retail stores in India they do have authorized stores but they only will entertain cases where the phone is bought in India. And seconld in case of Ipod, Ipad and Macs its universal where you can go to any apple store regardless of the purchase country.
