I have an iphone 4s bought in the UK, sim free, I have moved to denmark but cannot use any danish sim cards in it. Is the phone locked to uk or would it have locked to my old uk carrier? Or can apple unlock the phone?

phones are not locked to a country but can be locked to a carrier

if it is then one is required to contact the carrier it was locked to and get it unlocked they are

the only ones with the power
