trouble with text messaging iPhone

I'm having trouble with text messages and receiving text messages.

And I noticed under setting, receive at, is linked to my iCloud email address instead of my phone number.  Because of that some friends received it my iCloud email address and some don't even received my text at all or I don't reveived their text either.  Please help!

Settings>Messges>Received At>Caller ID. Select your phone number.

Thanks Meg for your quick reply.  I did went to settings>Received At>Caller ID. and it didn't let me change my iCloud email address to my cell phone number.  And my phone number was in Gray.  But somehow I kept on playing with it and I deleted something from there and now it shows my Cell number and my iCloud email address is gone.  Hopefully I didn't delete anything important.

I've had luck fixing that by turning iMessage of and back on again. That may be what you did. It wouldn't have hurt anything. Glad you got it fixed.
