I have TomTom UK running on my iPhone 4 which itself is running iOS 5.1.1.

 

I have been having problems with the TomTom App keeping its signal locked in all weather conditons and even thinking I am on tottally different roads even when it was has a signal to start with.  I then get the Poor GPS signal and can pretty much drive to work in 45 mins somedays without any signal lock and navigation.  I know my route but use its HD traffic service to miss delays etc.

 

I've deleted the software from the iPhone and redownloaded it and this hasn't solved the problem at all.

 

Any one got any ideas?

I have the same set up and it works fine so unlikely to be a generic issue

 

Have you the latest TT update  April 2012

Did you update 5.1.1 via iPhone or through iTunes

if the latter try a reload through iTunes ,the complete code rather than an update

if you do have latest TT then try deleting and download a fresh set of code and

install again .It is a large file so may not be 100% from first download
