this possible iPhone

Its about a problem with the dock connector. This cable has two fathers, two male connectors : One for the iphone and one for the rest*.
and the 2nd thing for me is a problem with the keyboard, cause im writing a screenplay about only one thing : the love.
so … is there anyone out there, who can please check this up : please tell me, what happens, if you connect the iphone via the dock connector to the mother connector of an apple keyboard. Will the iphone recognize this keyboard ? And if yes, i would name it apple love.
My 1st problem isnt so important, cause i use a cool powerbook, with 12 inch and leopard. And i can write on this one on, cause iphones are too expansive, here, in europe, where i have to speak and write in this german language. or somewhere else … havent so much bugs.
