Ive noticed that when I receive over 50 txt messages from a single person the MSG alert never seems to go away. Like when I get 105 unread messages, I go and check the 105 messages and it seems to subtract 50 and still says I have 55 unread messages. So then I hit Load Earlier Messages and it still says I have the same amount of unread messages.I clear the messages in the chat and it still says that there are 55 unread messages. When I check my phone it shows that there are no unread messages (b/c there are no blue dots near any conversations). The alert seems to go away only after removing the chat log all together from the text message menu.If someone at Apple can look into this it would be greatly appreciated. It gets annoying because I cant archive all my messages without it showing a bunch of unread messages even though I read them.Thanks.Here are the screen shotsMessage was edited to improve images by: Dj RaYz Macbook Pro Mac OS X (10.5.6) 2.4 GHz, 2GB Ram

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this bug... I have already submitted feedback to Apple.I have tested this problem on a couple 3G iPhones all running 2.2 and it seems to only occur on every 1 out of 2 phones. If you go on the internet and try to enter text in a text field, for instance on the yahoo homepage search field, normally when you press a letter on the on screen keyboard, a magnification of that letter will appear above your finger. However, if you try to type the letter O, it will magnify only the first time you type it. After you enter one O, it will not magnify anymore. Every other letter still magnifies. Windows Vista

so i bought my iphone like two weeks ago and decided to update it the other day. after attempting to update the whole night and getting nowhere. couldnt restore, couldnt do nothing. i took the phone back to the store and they gave me a new one. well the first phone worked great the battery life was really good (i actually kept waiting for it to completely drain itself and shut off but that didnt happen although i did charge it like every other night) well now with the new one i have had it for less than 48 hrs and the phone is getting warm just by sitting in my purse when iam at work (this didnt even happen once with the first one) and as soon as iam on a call for like a minute i can feel the back of the phone starting to warm up. i dont want to exchange it again (i dont want to be one of those people who is never satisfied) but i think this might be a serious issue. as far as what i have running on it i got one yahoo account that is set to manual and my wifi and 3g are both turned on since i get both wifi and 3g at school, home, and work (where i spend most of my time) so i dont know if anyone has any suggestions or ideas on what i should do, or if this is normal? but if it is why didnt it happen with the first one??by the way i didnt even update the phone to the 2.2 becuz iam scared that it might stop working like it did the first time and also becuz i have been reading some of the forums on here and lot of people are having a issue with the battery life after the upgrade.anyways thanks for listening and taking the time to help!

So i updated my iPhone to the 2.2 version on Friday, and since then my AOL email account wont let me delete emails, it comes up with Unable to Move Message: The message could not be moved to the mailbox TrashYet i have some AIM email accounts on there and my email can be deleted on them, on my yahoo and on my googlemail. Its just that one email account, and its my primary account too. Any ideas on how to fix this? It was working fine before i upgraded to the 2.2 firmware. Packard Bell Windows XP
So, I have a question for everyone. I have been to the iPhone feedback link MANY times to give Apple some ideas, make requests and suggestions and I was wondering, do you think that anyone actually gives a hoot at Apple about what the consumers really want to see in future updates to the iPhone? It just seems odd that no matter what forum or chat room you look in, there are lots of requests and hopes that will be included in future updates and none of these are even included in the updates. What gives?? MacBook Pro

Seeing my response to a earlier query may not be read by some based on the lengthy thread it is apart of, I thought I would paste it here for all to see which may help some of you determine if your ISP supports PUSH.I had a call 3-wks ago with an APPLE Applications Specialist regarding PUSH in general and learned the following:1. Not all ISPs (in my case Verizon), provide PUSH capabilities.2. Specialist dropped a few ISPs in the process and I dont believe yahoo was one that provided PUSH(?) You will need to check with them or READ BELOW on what you can do to check this on your iPHONE...3. Mobile.Me provides PUSH as does MS Exchange Servers and gmail4. On a side note, there have been reported issues of FETCH not working as it should, whereas, it may not fetch at the selected intervals (15-min, 30-min, 60-min) and APPLE is aware of thisTo CHECK and see if your ISP does SUPPORT PUSH, do the following:SETTINGS > FETCH NEW DATA > Scroll down to ADVANCED field > Select the email account(s) field you have activated. (if you have deactivated one of your email accounts, as I do with my MS Exchange when I am in my home office in front of my laptop, you will have to activate it in order to check its PUSH availability out)... from there, you will note two or three available fields (Fetch; Manual or PUSH), with a check mark by one of them.... if your email account(s) only show Fetch or Manual as options, then your ISP does NOT support PUSH (as my Verizon FiOS ISP does not), therefore, you are limited to only Fetch capabilities... if your email account(s) show all three options (Fetch, Manual & PUSH) then your ISP HAS PUSH capabilities... as does my business related MS Exchange server indicate. So I dont know if I am doing something wrong or not, but heres the problem. I go into my yahoo address book and delete any contact I dont need and just leave the ones I want. Then I proceed to sync my iPhone 3G. I connect it, I check the box to sync address book and then hit apply. When its done syncing and I check my contacts on the phone, all of the contact Ive deleted are back. Ive tried doing a full restore as a new phone, but the contacts I delete come back not only on my phone, but also on my yahoo Address book. Any ideas why this happens??Thanks. Dell Windows Vista

hi,i just setup gmail on the iphone, just a few questions:1. how do i log out? or i cant? whenever i click the mail icon it take me directly to my gmail inbox, i cant log out? what if i also have yahoo mail for example, id need to log out of gmail to get into that one.2. whats the difference between push and fetch? i thought they were the same thing. option says in iphone to use fetch when push is off, so if i wanted my email checked every 15 mins, i can set fetch to 15min, i thought thats what push did.thanks.
Ive just got my iphone and use it to send email via a yahoo account. Recipients get the usual sent from my iphone message, but then they get my name too which is miss-spelt. I have a yahoo email account and gmail account set up on my iPhone. Why, oh why, does the yahoo email send my message multiple times? I thought at first since I didnt have a strong signal that that was the cause yet the person got the email, twice, and it was starting to send a 3rd. Today I had at least 4 bars when I sent it and yet it sent it several times. I have not had this occur with my gmail account. Any ideas? HP Windows Vista 8GB iPhone 3G v2.1
As Apple promised in early October, the company has posted an updated Software Developer Kit (iPhone SDK) Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) which allows iPhone application developers to more openly discuss their development plans. In order to facilitate such discussion, Apple has also opened a forum especially for iPhone developers. When Apple first opened the iPhone to third-party development, it put in place a very restrictive NDA that earned the ire of developers, because it prevented them from communicating with one another. Apple was also criticized for not providing mailing lists or a Web site forum for developers.Earlier this month, Apple stated plans to drop the NDA. Apple said that it had put the NDA in place to protect its inventions from being stolen by others, but acknowledged that the result had placed too much of a burden on developers and “others interested in helping further the iPhone’s success.”The revised NDA agreement binds developers to continue to to honor as confidential information regarding any Apple pre-release software along with “Apple Events or Paid Content.”New developer forums, open to registered iPhone developers specifically, have also been set up on Apple’s developer Web site. The company lists the forums as beta presently, and calls it “a collaborative environment” where iPhone developers can post questions for each other and discuss iPhone development topics.by Peter Cohen, Macworld.com

Ok, Ive been having some problems with the iphone 3G that Im hoping to resolve. I use the iphone with mobileme. Ive been having intermittent problems receiving emails. However, they are multiple different problems. I think the first problem is with the mobileme server and the other problems are with the iphone. The iphone just says connecting and gets hung up with the circle doing its thing by the 3G symbol on top and at the bottom of mail. Sometimes when I turn the it on and off again I receive the emails and other times it doesnt work. After an hour or so the emails arrive. The second problem, also intermittent is the phone doesnt vibrate or beep when new emails arrive. Sometimes its only when I wake it up that it looks for emails and downloads them and then vibrates and beeps.Last question-- is there a way to change the sound of the beep when new emails arrive and/or make it louder? Finally, calling Apple iphone support is crazy. They are useless untrained people . This morning they told me that I had to chat with mobileme. When I chatted they told me it was an iphone issue and I needed to talk with them. Im a huge fan of Apple and an avid Mac user but their support for the iphone is terrible. macbookpro Mac OS X (10.5.1)
I was moving things here and there, and I decided to play around with my phone and my emails, and a weird thing happen.I set up a new email with yahoo(since they support push) and I forward my Gmail to my yahoo account.I tested the email and bingo! I got my email from yahoo but a second later I also got the email in my Gmail, I did the same thing over and over again and I was getting the emails on both account (yahoo first and Gmail a second later)it was like Gmail somehow supported pushBut after 25 minutes of testing the email another wired thing happen, I decided to erase the yahoo email form my iphone and did a reset, and I started to get the sound notification but there was no number on the email app, and when I was opening the Gmail account and there was no email. So I left it like that, and right now I restored the phone and added the yahoo email and the Gmail, same thing happen again send some test email and I got the yahoo email within 30 seconds and a second later I heard the sound, I opened the email and a second later Gmail sound to(so I got both email with a second of difference).Try this guys(you that have Gmail accounts) and let me know if this happens to you tooThanks HP Windows Vista Iphone 3G
Hi AllPlease dont complain about yet another one of these battery life threads.Ive been experimenting with the various recommended ways of preserving battery life. Ive am astonished at how effective switching off 3G is in that regard. Its made it comparable to my BlackBerry Pearl in terms of battery life.If I leave 3G on, my battery depletes very quickly even though there is no 3G (only GPRS) at the location where Im doing the comparison. My email still gets pushed to MobileMe and yahoo! accounts just fine. I have a couple of questions:1. Does the iPhone switch off its WiFi circuitry when it goes into sleep mode? I notice that it takes a few seconds for the WiFi signal indicator to appear in the status bar of the phone but that by the time Ive entered my passcode, it seems connected. If it does, how does the iPhone re-establish the WiFi connection so quickly?2. I presume from all this that when 3G is on, the iPhone has that circuitry switched on all the time and so depletes the battery rapidly. Is there anything that the phone wont do when asleep with 3G off? I havent noticed anything different so Im wondering why the iPhone just doesnt go onto a lower power carrier network connection when its asleep.3. When 3G is turned off, will the iPhone still be able to use EDGE if available? Does EDGE draw more power than GPRS?ThanksIan iMac 17" Flat Panel, MacBook Mac OS X (10.5.5) iPhone 2.1, Wintel XP Laptop

helloi bought iPhone 3G some days ago at Moscow (Russia).Since i use this gadget, i have 3 very important questions, there are:1) i dont wish to display a new SMS in the popup window. how i can to disable this preview? i found only one way to disable this manner - by switching Password protection on. but i dont wish to enable password protection... any other ways to resolve this problem?2) yahoo weather always connects to the Internet when i use this feature. Even if i use it 5 minutes ago! Even if it have weekly(!) forecast! Very stupid. How to set this feature to update weathers forecast when i wish to update only?3) Very very important question. For example: i have got a new email and wish to copy some text from it into the Calendar. This text can be an sender name, sender location, meeting location, meeting notes and so on. Anyone knows how to copy a text like this and paste it into another app? (in Notes too)thank you Asus G2Sg Windows Vista
I really want two-way viode calling function on iPhone because my girl and I live far away apart(15 hours different). Every time when she is working, she cant chat online. When she gets home, Im already asleep. One day, she said that we should use 3G video calling(since her phone has video calling feature), but I told her that my iPhone doesnt have one....><. She was disappointed.I know some of you may say that talking on the phone its good enough. We cant use webcam because the time difference and talking on the phone is not good enough for me. Yes, hearing her sweet voice keeps me going, but I want to see her sweet face, too.I kindly ask the good people here to help. Please write an email to Apple and AT&T about adding two-way video calling feature on iPhone(I know AT&T has one-way video calling). I love my iPhone, but I love my girl more. Please save my love life. Powerbook G4 Mac OS X (10.5.5) iPhone 8GB, iPod mini, Windows XP, Vista, iPhone 3G 16GB Black
Sure, on the surface Google’s Android seems more like a shot through the heart of Windows Mobile — or the head of Palm’s Linux-based OS 2.0 aspirations — but while those platforms enjoy their own historical and market share, it’s Apple’s iPhone that has all the mind share of late. That means, despite Google’s CEO being on the Apple Board of Directors, Google’s Maps, Search, and other services having a prominent place on both devices, and — let’s face it — Google’s full on tech-crush for the iPhone — no one is going to hesitate to pit the two systems head-to-head. Including us!So, what advantages does each one have? What drawbacks? Here they are, in our opinion: the top five iPhone vs. Android Wins and Losses… after the break! How Android Wins1. Hardware OptionsUnlike the singularity of the iPhone, Android follows the current Windows Mobile model (and old Palm OS model) of creating a software platform meant to be implemented by a wide range of different manufacturers across an even wider range of hardware (some speculate beyond even the phone paradigm). Want a keyboard? Touch? Flip? Yellow racing fins? No problem, take 1 from column A and 2 from column B. After all, people tend to be diverse if not unique, and no single device can possibly meet the needs of each and every consumer. By letting manufacturers offer hardware choices, Android wins.2. Developer FreedomWhile the iPhone App Store has been a million (going on billion) dollar success, it has also been an endless source of controversy rooted not only in Apple’s desire to control seemingly every aspect of ecosystem, but the capricious — and callous — way in which they’ve thus far chosen to exercise that control. By contrast, Google is offering what amounts to a totally free Marketplace where developers can pretty much create and deploy anything, limited only by their innovation and determination. Podcaster? Fine. Mailwrangler? Okay (even though it likely duplicates Google’s built-in Gmail client). It’s the classic Open Source argument. (Heck, even the OS itself is Open Source!) By being free as in speech (though Google is wealthy enough to spot developers at least a few beers as well!), Andorid wins.3. Killer Cloud ConnectivityLet’s face it, the cloud is the future, and while Apple has struggled (cough-MobileMe-cough) with that future, Google owns it. Google Search. Gmail. gCal. Google Docs. Google Maps. YouTube. Knol. Chrome. And the list goes on and on (and on). If they can flip the switch and truly, seamlessly integrate everything, not only between applications but across desktop, laptop, and handset, it will make for perhaps the most compelling offering ever on the market. By not being the next Windows-class platform (which superseded the earlier Mac), but by potentially being something even greater, Android wins.4. DRM-Free MediaThe iPhone is hooked into the largest and most successful media fountain in the business, iTunes. The record labels and Hollywood, however, fearing Apple will become another Walmart, able to dictate terms (taken, no doubt, to a Jobsian extreme) have with the exception of EMI, denied iTunes the higher quality, DRM-free music they are willing to give to competitors like Amazon. Google, despite being Amazon’s rival in the data-center-driven cloud computing space, is leveraging Amazon MP3’s musical advantage for Android. No word yet on whether they’ll ever break the DRM-free TV and Movie barrier (not when Hollywood is cutting off so many noses to spite that face), but for as far as it goes, by providing consumers with content free of DRM that never stopped the real pirates, but made everyday use difficult to the point of exasperation, Android wins.5. Sergey and LarrySteve Jobs is the archetypal benevolent dictator, and a divisive one at that. Google’s founders, by contrast, enjoy a shinier, happier public image. Whether it’s their “don’t be evil” motto or their willingness to let Google employees spend 20% of their time (1 day a week) working on solo “skunkworks” projects in the true spirit of innovation, (such as Sergey’s gleeful Android “hang time” app?), their youthful energy and enthusiasm powers the Google brand. By presenting a kinder, friendlier, and — arguably — funnerer corporate culture to consumers, Android wins. How the iPhone Wins1. Unified Hardware/DevelopmentControversies aside, the App Store has changed the face of application development and deployment (and how scary is it that this represents only one of the iPhone’s revolutions). Leveraging the ease of use and power of Cocoa, developers can create applications that will not only run on any iPhone (or iPod Touch) on the market, but be available for market (or for free), at the tap of a button, on each and every one of those devices. While Android developers will have to worry about whether some hardware has keyboards and some not, touchscreens or not (and what resolution?!), real headphones or USB adapters (really HTC? Really?) trackballs or accelerometers — never mind the endless snafu potential of any manufacturer or carrier making any changes they want to the Open Source OS — iPhone developers can “just work”. By providing a single, unified hardware implementation and the unlimited on-device marketplace that comes with it, the iPhone wins.2. Best of Both WorldsWhile Android enjoys the most complete integration with Google imaginable, we can’t forget that Google’s business isn’t making Smartphones. It isn’t Search either. It’s advertising. And to advertise, Google needs to be in front of (and holding on to) as many eyeballs as possible. This means Google needs to provide their services to the iPhone (and Windows Mobile, Palm, Blackberry, etc.) as well. So the iPhone gets Google Search, Maps, YouTube, and all the other Google applications they need anyway. What’s more, Apple gets to carefully craft their own unparalleled user interfaces and mobile technology on top of and into those Google Services. Google’s Android, however, gets nothing from Apple. By iPhone users getting the best of both the Apple and Google worlds, the iPhone wins.3. Google Getting Slightly Less “Not Evil”Apple can be smug, uncaring, and wrong-headed redacteds, fair enough. But while Google professes “don’t be evil”, their growing size and power should be a concern to everyone who values privacy and security. Bottom-line: they know everything about you. You search for “very private personal issue”. They know that, and your IP, and can cross-reference it with everything else you’ve searched for, and mapped, and (with the GPS in your phone) whether you’re on the move. And their business is advertising. They own DoubleClick. Sure, Apple hooks into Google for Safari web search and maps as well, but on the iPhone you can at least choose not to search, or to search yahoo!, and to turn off GPS. Maybe you can with Android, maybe not. Chrome has set a very poor precedent (no URL box, just search, means Google parses avery web address you type — never mind the ULA controversy). Given their shiny, happy facade, this makes them all the more terrifying. By the sheer nature of Apple’s business model being predicated on pleasing consumers enough to buy their hardware, and not slipping in advertising on the down low with little or no oversight or accountability, the iPhone wins.4. iTunes International & iPod EcosystemFor all the greatness that is Amazon MP3, it’s entirely USA-centric. Sure, for many people that seems like the whole world — but it’s not. While Big Media deliberately won’t give iTunes higher quality DRM-free music, the nature of international media rights is every bit as unfair to Amazon and their offerings. iTunes has had years to navigate this archaic quagmire, however, and while they’re certainly not everywhere yet, iTunes Stores are available to a huge number of consumers around the world. And unlike Android at launch, iPhone users in some areas also have TV (including NBC… again), Movies, and the rest of iTunes’ massive media content library available to them. Likewise, the Apple ecosystem is mature, providing everything from easy media conversion tools for personal content, to a plethora of accessories, to Apple’s full line of other hardware and software products. By providing such a vast, and vastly simple set of content and spherically-integrated supporting environment, the iPhone wins.5. Steve JobsCall him Steve, El Jobso, Dear Leader, or an arrogant expletive, Steve Jobs has proven time and again to have an uncanny knack for knowing “what’s next”. Not innovation in the strictest sense, Jobs instead takes futuristic technology and realized it for the masses — in whatever elegant shade of this and gorgeous material of that he knows is lust-worthy at that very moment. From the CLI of the Apple II, to the GUI of the Mac, to the portability of the iPod, to the multi-touch of the iPhone, Jobs more than anyone this generation has, over and over, pushed the boundaries of consumer technology and the entire industry around it. That’s why every Stevenote brings the internet to a grinding halt, and Android’s announcement barely registered a stutter on the tubes. You don’t dent the universe by committee (which Google’s Open Handset initiative and Android Platform most certainly are), and there’s no better proof of that than the achievements of Apple under the — admittedly dictatorial — guidance of Steve Jobs. By walking onto the stage at Macworld 2007 and pulling the jaw-dropping surprise of the iPhone from his pocket, and by keeping every consumer on the edge-of-their seats waiting for the next Stevenote, and the next “one more thing”, the iPhone won.ConclusionEvery industry needs competition, and while we can’t help but worry about our friends over on the Windows Mobile and Palm platforms, we also can’t help but think, win or lose, Android will force the iPhone to up its game (and vice versa) as well. Either way, we consumers are the ultimate winners.Via How Does Android Compare to the iPhone? Top 5 Wins and Losses
Well it isn’t as disturbing as salad fingers but it is just as odd. iPhone compatible gloves. The product is called Dot Gloves and lets you interact with just about any touch screen device thanks to special dots in the fingertips. Which is great for broad general stuff but can you imagine typing up an email with gloves on? Well if you can they are fifteen bucks for a pair of knot gloves and twenty for a pair of Ragg wool. First off, I owned the original iPhone and I had no problem with push email with yahoo. Ever since I got the iPhone 3G the email has become unreliable, even with the new 2.1 update and using a me.com email address. Its very important in my work to receive messages quickly and the iPhone 3G (2.1 update) is dropping the ball on this.Is there anything I can do to make push more reliable? Thanks MacBook Air Mac OS X (10.5.5)

I initially had addressed the international font issue that the new itunes was having. Apart from that, the addition of the genius tab along with other minor improvements here and there seems to make the new itunes 8 likable. Now, for all the iphone 3G users.Ill try my best to give you the an honest and complete review of the new update, which is only after couple of hours since its launch. Battery Life: It has only been couple of hours, not even a full day yet but from what I have noticed, Ill say that there seems to be an improvement with the battery bar measurements. It does not give a ridiculous full bar followed by a sudden decrease; instead it literally gradually cuts down. (no, not the DUH comment here) After 3 hours, the tip of the battery bar is now gone. Prior to the update, the batter bar for me was most of the times at full for me followed by a sudden fall to half during mid day. Good improvement regarding this issue.Phone Coverage:Rejoice. There is definite improvement on this part of the end. I am currently in Houston visiting, and the place that I live in gave a poor coverage before. The bar with the 3g turned on was always moving from 1 to 2 bars. (heavy fluctuations) After the update however, I am on full 5 bars most of the times with occasional drops to 4 bars. I cant contain the amazement here. Mr. Jobs kept his word on this issue and the coverage has definitely boosted itself up. Call quality and drop issues:This may sound foolish, but after the update, I made 10 calls to 10 different people in different areas. Chatted for about 5-10 minutes with each individual and the test results have been positive. No dropped calls and clear communication both ways in all times (both me and the receiving party). It could be due to the fact that my area has good coverage (which is now, that is) but as I have mentioned above, the coverage issue has been resolved for me so I see this is a benefit that works together for both the call quality and coverage. Application Stability:To pinpoint, the currency converter that I had for the iphone has been not responding after the 2.0.2 update. I could not figure out whether the fault was with the phones update or whether the application was buggy, but after the latest update, this application is up and running smoothly. This is just one example. I have tested all my applications one by one to check their stability and it has all been a positive check on this one.Contacts:The issue that had been driving me nuts the most, prior to this update. Simply put, the contact list was SLOW with the 2.0.2. There was literally a lag of 4 seconds for me everytime I used my contacts list.Well, with this update now, this issue has been improved, but it is still, definitely NOT perfect. The lag time has now been decreased to 1 to 1.5 seconds from what I have noticed and the scroll movement is much better now. However, I think there is still much improvement needed on this issue that still needs to be worked on. BACK UPS:The topic that everyone seemed to have agreed upon before is this, the amount of time it takes for the iphone to be update through sync.Great improvement now, cutting the time it takes to update by more than half of what it had been before, I would say.But us the people, the users always want things to be faster and better. I know Im sending out a risky note here that will get me a lot of hate replies and evil looks from the users as well as the programmers (who I must give credit, are really working hard. thank you guys), but the backup time is still an issue. We could definitely see further improvements in this area as well.e-mail and text message issues:Frankly speaking, these two topics did not cause me much trouble before. The e-mails ran fine the way it should (i have yahoo! & gmail accounts on the phone) and the text messaging ran smoothly for me before.I guess since i did not have much of an issue on these topics, i definitely could rely on many other users for their kind inputs, reviews and suggestions.A big thank you to all the readers for baring with this lengthy post, and I hope that the new update is being a positive experience for you.I would greatly appreciate all suggestions and discussions from the fellow iphone users on this latest update.Regards. windows man Windows XP
Does the new yahoo connect one app use SMS to send messages? Does it use SMS to receive messages? I have the 3G iPhone without a message plan, and dont want to incur charges. If I have AT&T turn off my ability to send and receive text messages, will I be able to send and receive SMS messages through the yahoo app - or just send only? 3 Dells - 2 Desktops, 1 Laptop Windows XP iPod 5G Video, iPhone 3G
1. I have push email set up with yahoo and it seems to work fine except when the phone sleeps after the minute I have set up. Should I hear the alert when a new email is received when in sleep mode? I have it set to every 15 minutes.2. When Im using Safari, is there a way to get back to my home screen as I can do on my computer? 3. The sounds I have set when using my keypad stopped working for some reason. I had to restart the phone and then it worked. Is this a known problem?4. I periodically have to press the home button at the bottom of the phone with a lot of pressure before it works. Will this effect it or is this part of the phone durable?I will probably have more questions but these are the ones that come to mind. So far, Im pleased with the phone and am not experiencing some of the more serious issues of others in the discussions. Sony Windows Vista
Does Apple know enough that these are important features? Seriously, how could they even INVENT a phone without these features???1.) Cannot save a Text Message as a draft??? you must be kidding me2.) Cannot forward a Text Message to a different contact??? *** where you thinking?3.) Copy and Paste???my concerns right now is mostly about text messages and its features...to solve most of these... iphone users should be able to point a bubble for afew secs then an option menu pops up and we can choose to copy, forward, delete bubble/chat.seriously brains pls????? This is because 2 people who are impatient and disagreed with the info. Why dont people leave Apple alone and let them get on with sorting out our iphones so they will live up to what Apple claim. Often when I go to email it will start checking for email but it never completes. I have 5 email accounts set up -- 2 yahoo, 1 Gmail, a POP account, and an Exchange account. The internet connection is not the problem -- this same issue occurs over 3G, Wifi and EDGE. It will say Checking for email for over 30 minutes on each account. Several hours later it never completes. As soon as I reset my iPhone it checks for email and receives email perfectly, however, half way through the day the previously mentioned issue arises and nothing gets through; even Exchange emails are held up.Has anybody else encountered this issue? 16GB white
I have a yahoo account my iPhone 3G. I created and sent an email. On the bottom of the message screen, I am informed, 1 Unsent Message.I have tried numerous times to send the email manually, even created another new and different message hoping to drag the tardy one out with the new. The new one departed, the original still lingers on.Nothing I have done can solve this. I even deleted and re-setup the account and the message is still there haunting me.Anyone got any idea on a solution? Mac Book Mac OS X (10.5.4) POS PC w/Vista; iPhone 3G with no 3G service

Sign Up Today!Regular Sign Up:http://tinyurl.com/5mughxOK what do I need to do?First thing you need to do is get a "junk" email account. (I recommend gmail but yahoo or hotmail is fine) Since youre going to be getting a lot of junk mail youre not going to want it all going to your real email address, so this is what this new email account will be used for.Step 1: Sign UpGo tohttp://www.cybersniper.tk/and sign up.Once you get there click SIGN UP on the menu bar on the left and fill out your information. They will ask you for your email. I recommend you give them your real one because this is where they will email you your XBox Live code,Amazon Gift Code and ETC to. If you give them your spam one you might accidentally delete it. The site doesnt spam you its all the offers you will be doing that send the junk email (more on that in step 2).They also ask for your address. Dont worry too much about this all they need your address for is to mail you prizes. (Ive personally had them mail me (PS3)Battle Field Bad Company!)After you signup they will send you a confirmation link to your email address you entered. Click the link and youre done. The email should come pretty quick (usually instantly). And make sure you check your spam folders.Step 2: Complete OffersNow that youve signed up go ahead and login, its time to start earning points! If you have any Questions Feel free leave me a message or a comment!http://tinyurl.com/5mughxhttp://tinyurl.com/5mughx
