iphone 4gs won t pair with Audi Q7

I had an iPhone 3GS that worked flawlessly with my 2008 Audi Q7. Pairing it was a simple step that just meant hitting settings > Bluetooth > discovering the car. The 4GS will not find the car. I've tried rebooting the phone. I've tried unpairing all previous devices on the car. I've tried restarting the car while the phone is searching. Audi was no help when I called. Any ideas? It's driving me nuts.

iPhone 4 completely dead-help

Hi, Last night my iPhone4 just stopped working. I'd experianced no previous problems with my phone.  I'd just sent a text and put the phone down. When I picked it up, a couple of minutes later, it appeared to be completely dead ? First of all I assumed the battery must be flat so I plugged it in to my laptop to charge it. Strangely, there was no chirp noise and the phone appeared not to be charging. I tried a different charger - still no response. Plugged back into my laptop and opened iTunes - phone did not appear as a device. Its just completely dead ? Is there anything I can do to try and re-activate it ? Can I take it to apple to get it repaired if it is broken (I don't have any insurance on my contract, so that option is not open to me) ? Any advice much appreciated ?

iPhone 5 will not open apps-tried everything.

After getting a new phone, I backed up my old one and then started the new one as a restoration of the backup. Can't use any apps. I've tried deleting, syncing, restoring, purchasing a new app, still doesn't let me open an app.

My iPhone 4s speaker no longer works

For a month or two, the speaker on my iPhone 4s hasn't been working.  The phone is not in silent mode.  I have tried putting headphone mini plugs in and out of the jack (in case the phone was somehow in headphone mode, which it wasn't).    Speakerphone calls, the ringer, music, facetime, and safari videos are all silent unless I'm using headphones.  When this first happened, the sound came back on after a few days, but a day later it went away again and hasn't come back for more than a month.  It is not under warranty any more, nor do I have insurance.  I am hoping someone out there knows a solution so I don't have to deal with this for another 9 months until my contract expires. Thanks, William

Why won't all photos from iPhoto sync onto my iPhone 5

I am trying to put all the photos from iPhoto on my Mac onto my iPhone 5. Through iTunes, I select sync photos with iPhoto, then sync all photos, albums, events and faces. There are 285 photos in my iPhoto library and I would like to sync them all, but after the sync when I look at the photos on my phone, only 187 synced. What am I doing wrong?

I've had every iphone since the iphone 3G, and I've never had this issue until just recently. One day when texting a message, this keyboard pops up that's in arabic. Charging cable won't stay in jack on iPhone 5

I bought two iPhone 5's yeasterday and the plugs on the charging cables don't make contact with the contacts on the phone jack.  If I lift the phone the plug falls out.  My phone did not get charged throughtout the night even though it was plugged-in.  Are others having this same problem?

My iPhone 5 won't charge to 100 overnight.

I have had my iPhone 5 for about a week and it won't charge to 100% overnight.  I plug it in before I go to bed with usually less than 20% battery left and when I wake up (8hrs later)  its at no more than 87%.  I've switched cords and that didn't help but when I'm at work and using the phone off and on throughout the day it will charge to 100% with no problem.  It's actually like its hung up on a percent when I wake up because I have used the phone for an hour and it will still be on 87% and after a hard reset it dropped down to 78% and began functioning normally until I once again plugged it in overnight and the same thing happened again.  Anyone else having this issue?

My iPhone is not being detected by my computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 3 times to no avail. This occurred during a restore in which the computer lost connection to the phone and left it in DFU mode. Please help. I also must add that my lock button is broken as well.

AT T iPhone 5 gets stuck on EDGE network

When my AT&T iPhone 5 goes to a low signal zone, or an EDGE zone, such as a friends basement, my girlfriends house, or an elevator, it switches to EDGE, but when I go to a good signal area, it stays on EDGE for a while (at least an hour), or until I shut off the antennas using airplane mode or restarting the phone. Sometimes it also affects Wi-Fi, and when the phone connects to Wi-Fi it gets no data on some apps, until I reset the connection using airplane mode. I want to know once and for all if this is a known hardware or software issue, if I should try to get the phone replaced (which I've had since October), or I should just deal with it as a new phone will not help. I've tried reinstalling iOS, resetting network connections, and DFU restore.

So my Iphone 4s has been having problems with the no service error now and again so I decided to reset the network settings to try and fix it. Now since this reset,my iphone refuses to connect to wifi even though the password I'm entering is 100% correct!  I keep getting the 'Incorrect password error'. I've resetted the router and reset the wifi network, rebooted my phone,performed a hard reset but there is still no fix  I have many other devices connected to my wifi without any problems. 3 computers, an ipad, android tablet and other iphone. My phone is jailbroken on 6.1.2 so I don't want to have to restore my phone. My phone will connect to wifi with wifiFoFum but as soon as my phone goes to sleep it disconnects so its rather annoying! I hope you can help

I have set my iPhone to the UK region when first turning it on and going through the set up process. I will be moving to the US in a month and would like to change it or set it up on the US region, although i do not want to go through resetting the phone to do it as i have all my contacts, photos, etc loaded onto the phone. Ive read a couple of articles about going to a genius bar, but I live in Norway and theres no genius bar here. Hello!In anticipation of upgrading from my 4S at some point, and unhappy with many visual elements of iOS7 (as it appears now), I'm wondering if it's possible to install iOS5 or iOS6 on an iPhone 5.  I'm currently running iOS5.1.1 (and am very happy with it, thank you very much). Is the OS backed up along with the phone's content, allowing a transfer/restore of both the content and the iOS?  Or are older iOS's available in some other way?Thanks,David

When my wifi is off, everything works fine. My internet, all my apps, everything will load. When I turn on my wifi, that all goes downhill. my internet wont load, none of my apps that require internet are playable, nothing works. I have tried resetting my phone and restoring it, My boyfriends phone, which is exactly like mine, uses my wifi just fine without a problem. What should I do to fix this? I cant go to an Apple Store, I would have to take a 5 hour plane ride to get to the nearest one.

When making a phone call i can hear the person on the call, yet when i speak they cannot hear me.  Seldom times the phone speaker will work where the other person on the call can hear me, but moments later it will mute again. I've had success using viber and can make voice control which makes things more confusing. Any ideas? Regards  Ibrahim Gungor

my iphone 5 starting acting up lately.  i am online but there is no wifi icon on top.  when i checked the speed of my router, macbkpro will register 3mbps., ipad2 will register 2.3mbps and my iphone 5 will have a measly .35mbps. taking into consideration that my ipad 2 has the wifi issues because of ios6 which was much discussed here in the forum.  i have mentioned before that before ios6, my ipad has better signal than my iphone. but after ios 6, iphone5 showed better signal with the same set of circumstances of the router.   3g signal is very good but there is frequent failure or delay in sending text messages and frequent dropped or choppy signal of  phone calls.what is wrong with my phone. should i have it exchanged?

Facebook contacts won t sync into phone contacts iOS 6 iPhone 3G

So I had all my Facebook contacts linked nicely with my phone. And yes I liked having everyone's information in my phone. But suddenly all my facebook contacts have disappeared from my contacts. I've tried togglying sync with contacts button and signing out and back in to Facebook, about 25 or so random facebook contacts have synced with the contacts but I want all 400+ names in there. How can I get all my Facebook contacts to sync into my phone contacts?

Hello,      I currently have an iPhone 4s 16 GB and am quickly running out of storage space.  I only have about 700 MB of space remaining and my "Other" category is taking up 6.27 GB of space!  I believe that most of this is because of my text messages; I have never deleted any of them and I'm in a group message that easily accumulates over 150 texts per day, so I need space, and fast!!!  I have read about several programs and am definitely willing to buy one, but I would like first-hand information about these programs.  I'm looking for a program that will save my SMS, MMS, and iMessage text messages to my MackBook so that I can delete them from my iPhone.  I would need a program that will save the messages permanently.  I want to be able to save the messages to the program, delete them from my phone, connect my phone to the program at later dates and save additional messages, and not lose any messages at all.  I don't want an app that I can only save messages to once because if I try to save more, it gets rid of the old ones and only saves the new ones.  I'm not sure how any of the programs work as far as that goes, so if anyone could reccommend a program to me that would do what I'm looking for, I'd GREATLY appreciate it!!! Thank you in advance for the help!!!

Someone tried to access my online account the first day I got my phones. The carrier texted me. I rcvd snail mail that they tried to access it again and were given a temp password. I have blocked all access to my online account- I can't even access it.  My phone is now burning hot, and under Diagnostics and usage, the dates are out of order and they look suspicious- I see words like  apple user ID, daemon,etc.Please help! Hi, I bought an iPhone 4S at the end of May time and it was taken back due to dead pixels once, then the newer one had the same issue so was returned again. The third one which I had replaced last Thursday has a different problem. All is well with the phone is what I initially thought (no dead pixels at least...) I recorded a video earlier on and played it back and noticed it has a very loud hissing/static type sound to it. Even over the voices or any type of noise. I am not sure why this is happening, I removed the case and it still happened. I read online that people have used an app called Qik so I downloaded that and tried it - the same noise occurs. Is this normal for a 4S? Or should I take it back a third time?  Thanks in advance.
