How I change my app store from US store to another country s store iPhone 3G

How do I change my app store from the US store to another country's store? I changed my app store to the US store quite easily. The phone showed a pop up window that made that simple to do. Now it seems I can't reverse it or I can't remember what I did the first time to change it. My apps are now not updating because it says I am in the wrong store. Does anyone know what to do?

Problems with syncing iPhone 5

I have Iphone 5 and try to sync it with my computer (Windows 7 Max.). I have already installed ITunes and verified my computer in AppStore. But anyway I have problems with syncing applications. For example, I've downloaded Translator and tried to install it to Iphone. I've clicked "Sync" in window "Programs", but it goes only up to the third step from four and fails. In window rights it is shown, that this program is already installed, but when I turn off my Iphone from computer, I check and can see, that programs were not installed.My computer is also already verified, so that I can connect it with Iphone. In common settings on Iphone I have already turned on restrictions so that I can install applications. Could you tell me what should I do? I hope that someone had the same problem.

My Iphone 4 stopped during an update and now it shows USB cable connect to itunes picture on front. My itunes account wont recognise phone now to restore it. iPhone 4S

I was updating the software on my I Phone and it said there was an error when trying to update. Now my phone has a symbol on the front with a USD cable pointing to Itunes. When I plug my phone into Itunes it asks me to restore but when I do the phone still has the same picture in the window.

I've never had this issue with a previous model.  When I am outside and sunlight comes in contact with my screen. The sunlight will click things/type messages/scroll etc. It's not like I'm in heavy sunlight either. It's 50 degrees outside and it's still doing it. It happens too when I'm sitting in my car. There will be some light coming through the window and it causes it too. I'm told this is not normal and the phone is defective. Is this true? Also, if it is defective... How should I prove this to Apple when I make an appt.? I know when I get there they will say it is working fine and there is nothing they can do.... Thanks for the help in advance from anyone!

I've downloaded snapchat, and I want to start using it. It needs to verify my number first. When i try, a new message appears, and I press "send", and then a window pops up: "Succes! App update notification red circles but nothing happens when trying update iPhone 3G

4S with latest ios installed and there is a 2 in the circle on the APP STORE icon but entering the store when I tap update nothing happens! I can see there is a brief spinning circle along the top next to the wifi icon but no apps requiring update appear in the window. Tried rebooting, downloading a new app (works OK) but am unable to deal with this issue. Any ideas?

iphone 4-tried to update to 6.1.2 and phone wont turn on now

I did a update to 6.1.2 and phone turned off and went into recovery mode and all that comes up on my phones screen is a image telling me to connect my usb cable to Itunes. I did that and it says I need to restore my phone first since my phone went into recovery mode. I have done that 3 times and I am currently on my 3rd try and the it tells me I have 45 min til update downloads. The first two times after the download finished the phone still did not turn on and the same usb image was still there on the home screen. In Itunes a window came up prompting me to restore phone which I had just doneWhy does it keep asking me to restore? Any tips to getting this restore to finally work and get my phone to turn back on. Why would Siri open and close randomly iPhone 5

My iPhone 5 displays the oddest and most erratic behavior and I cannot figure out why!  Hopefully someone here can head me in the right direction! A few times a week, Siri will pop up with her "What can I help you with" window.  I'll close it and it will reopen again.  Sometimes it even causes other apps to open.  Open and close.  Over and over.  It happens randomly or at least I cannot see the common denominator anyway.   I use a bumper with my phone but it does not cover or even touch the screen button.    Any ideas? Thanks for the help! Peter

Change from USA store to South African store for downloading updates. iPhone 3G

In the past when an update for an app on my iPhone 4S was avaialble I would just click on 'update' & the update will be downloaded to my iPhone.Now when I click on 'update' a window with the following message appears: "Your account is not valid for use in the USA store. You must switch to the South African store before purchasing." I am in South Africa but have never experienced the above before  - PLEASE ADVISE. I can do the update in iTunes on my iMac & then sync my iPhone but am not always at my iMac to do juts that & want to do the update directly from my iPhone. Many thanks. 330djp

Activation of iPhone

I have recently purchased an unloacked iPhone4. Since I didnt have a micro sim I tried to activate it through wi-fi and itunes but failed all the times with an error message " We are unable to continue with the activation of your phone. pLease try again later or contact customer care" in both wifi or itunes window.  Is it necessary to have a sim card inserted in the phone to activate?Or was I cheated by the retailer by getting an iphone from a different country or a jailbroken piece?

sending picture through photo app iPhone 3G

I have the iPhone 5.  When wanting to text a picture, I am unable to do that from the Photos app on the phone.  (Using the small curved arrow button at the bottom does not work.  It allows me to choose "message" but then nothing happens! The message window does not open, and the picture remains on the screen.  There have been times the photo app freezes and I have to close and restart.)I am, however, able to begin a new text message and attach a picture. Any ideas?  I don't know what settings to check.  I previously had the iPhone 4, and didn't have this issue. Thanks!

Accounts messed up my 4S iPhone 3G

My gf got a iPhone 4S, earlier she had a 3G. Once upone a time, she created a Apple ID in here own name with here own e-mail address. Later, when she got the 4S, she coudln't log in with here old username/password, so she created a new account using my e-mail. Late last year, we updated it to iOS6, and after that, i tried to make here old username/password work, but no luck. The phone claimed it was already taken and could not be used, same with my hotmail address that she used. I tried for several hours, but it got late and she needed the phone, so the quick fix was to create yet another account using one of my outlook addresses. I logged in now, trying to delete this account (as my username suggests, lol), but no luck there. The problem at the moment is as follows: - In settings, she seems to be logged into here account on iCloud and iTunes and App Store.- If she launches the App Store and try to update one of the outdated apps, it prompts a window asking for the password of my outlook address.- That same window pops up when she roboots the phone, with the outlook address already filled in (unchangable). How come? we want to clean up that mess and get her account back as it should be...

You probably, at one point, subscribed, open itunes-go to the itunes store-click on your account-go to the bottom you should see "settings" and "subscriptions" on the right click "manage" click edit next to the one you wish to remove and unsubscribe.  This solved my question  This helped me idone all these movements above,but, the problem ramains. i hit the button EDIT and moves me in a new window without the option DELETE . ALLOWS ME ONLY TO RENEWAL PLEASE GIVE ME AN OTHER SOLUTION TO STOP CHARGE ME THAT APP THANX A LOT   

Lost photos on Iphone 4S after syncing

Hi everyone,  Hope someone is able to help me on this issue. I recently received an iphone4s for christmas and I just synced it to itunes for the first time ever and there was a window pop-up asking if I wanted to synced details of my ipod to the phone, which I wanted but without erasing all of my photos and videos. The idiot in me only realised the mistake that I was making when it starting syncing and now I have lost all of my photos. Is there anyway to save the photos or it is too late? Iphone 5 hacked-about 30 emails sent out to what looks to be phishing website-TELUS customer

Woke up to find out my iphone had sent out about 30 emails to contacts (not my full contact list - guessing maybe the last 30 contacts that have been either received/sent via email).  The web site isn't one I ever remember accessing (which in iteself is weird).  http://dcrconsultores.com.br/pbolqlx.pho This is a fairly new phone acquired from my provider TELUS sent directly from TELUS during the inital shipment of iphone 5's last year. I am on the latest IOS 6.0.2....model MD295C....... Any suggestions on how to fix the problem Yes I have a window's PC.....but it was powered off last night when the emails went out from my iphone....also when I checked this morning there were no outgoing emails in Outllook....... 

how to change email or username on when I update app and window comes up asking for apple id password. iPhone 3G

I am trying to update some apps on my I phone...suddenly my password is wrong....so I tried to change it and in doing so I really got mixed up...I changed my user name and email also...so I have that all changed on line with apple...and went to settings and signed out and reset my email and password.  Stil when I now go back to update my apps the window comes up saying ID password and my old email is still in the window?  how can I change that?

iPhone 5 heavy antenna issues

Hi Guru's, I just received my new iPhone 5. I have 2 iPhone 4 as well, 1 for work and one private. Now for the issue. When I am at my parking spot at work, i have 3G connection, and speeds are measured at around 7 Mbps download, and 2 Mbps upload. I think that is pretty good. Then when I go inside my office (10 meter approx from my first measure - I can see my desk from my car) and stand at my desk which is directly at the window, I have only Edge and 0.01 Mbps download, and no upload. My iPhone 4 next to the 5 still has 5 Mbps download, and 1 Mbps upload. Is my iPhone 5 broken? I can't talk when going to meeting room due to reception is bad. I just mean - when I was outside i had 7 (7!) Mbps, 10 meter away just on the other side of a window connection is totally gone? It is the same where I live, inside the house no connetion at all, outside its fine. I have had 3 iPhone 4 and none of them had any issues of this kind. I was happy when receiving the iPhone 5, great speed and sound is awesome (just the screen format is totally off lol) but this connection thing is really making me think if I should return it and go back to my iPhone 4 (which is super slow compared to the 5). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kind Regards,Max

I saw a lot of people through the forum that experienced the exact issue I have and I spent 4 hours trying to resolve it myself with frantic research. What helped me get my iPhone back: This morning I received the message to upgrade my iphone 4 to the ios6 upgrade through my home internet. I accepted. After the download went through my phone directed me to connect to itunes. I complied.After connecting to itunes it informed me that my phone was in recovery mode and that I must restore my iphone. Yet again, I complied. After hitting restore and it going through the restore process, it instructed me of an error and could not complete restore. My computer refused to recognise my phone at all and said that I needed to enter my passcode. My phone then continued to tell me to connect to itunes before it then went a step further and began restarting and just had the apple logo and/or loading circle for about 4 hours. No matter how long I held the home and power button on it just kept doing the same thing and to be honest, I was about to throw my phone out the window.  I researched different tips on here and other forums for hours and pressing all the reset buttons. This time it proceded a little further than before and successfully restored completely to factory settings and my phone finally switched on like it was a brand new phone. I then set up my phone and connected it to my laptop and backed it up from there.  It was A LOT of fiddling around and just luck of repeating the same process over and over but this is what solved the issue that seems to be very common at the moment.  Any questions you're welcome to ask. I reassure you, I tried EVERY hold down button reset procedure and every time it failed and my computer absolutely was not registering my phone.  Hope this helps anyone.

unable to dload apps-how can I change email address on my phone iPhone 3G

Recently I changed the email address in my Apple ID Now I am unable to:  - download apps because when I select the app and install the window arises asking for password.This window stil has the old email address and I can't figure out how to remove it in order to put in the new one.Frankly I would have thought that a computer company the size of Apple, wherein it advertises one ID serves all sectors,would have programming such that when a change is made then the change is carried through all sectors. Can anyone inform me on how to remove the old address? While I'm here:Also unable to open iCloud.Unistalled, downloaded again, re-installed again but still it just will not open.Task Manager shows that iCloud.exe as a  process but the Control Panel will not open. Any suggestions welcomed. Computer is Win 7 Pro 64 bit iPhone is a 4 S and is brand new.

Poor iPhone 5 ReceptionSignal Strength

So I just swtiched from an iPhone 4 on AT&T to an iPhone 5 on Verizon. With the 4, I had full 3G coverage in my office. Now, on Verizon with the 5, I get extremely poor signal indoors. Once I get outside, LTE comes right on, full strength (I sit 5 feet from a window, as well). This never was an issue with the 4 at all. I have tried turning LTE off and everything. BUT, here is the kicker: If I turn off my phone, and turn it back on, I have LTE for a few minutes, at full strength. It actually works perfectly until I use the phone for more than a few minutes, or if I pick it up. If I leave the phone sitting on my desk, it stays connected to LTE. Once I pick it up and start using it for about 5 minutes, I go back to having no reception at all. Any ideas about what could be going on? Thanks!

iPhone 5 can't connect to wifi

I am at loose ends trying to find a solution to fix the wifi on my iphone5!! I was connect fine and then all of a sudden it dropped wifi connection (at home) and when I tried to connect again it said "unable to connect to network". I've restarted the network setting a numerous times, I have done a soft reset on my phone and nothing!! There are 5 other iPhones in the house (3G, 3GS, 2x 4g and an 4s) all except the 3G are on the new ios6 and none of those are having issues connecting to the wifi at home. Someone help or know a solution because at this rate I'm ready to throw the stupid 5 out the window!

Iphone 5-proximity sensor not functioning

black iphone 5 32 gb. The screen light stays on during calls and I keep muting or turning speakphone on when the screen brushes against my face.  Is this a hardware fault? I keep reading about this issue with the prox sensor on the Iphone 4? Or is this a software issue? people are complaining about speakers not working etc after ios 6 update. Raise to speak in siri doesnt work either. I have soft reset the phone as well as hard reset. Reset all network settings and restored through itunes setting it up as a new device but the proximity sensor simply wont work. I need to know whether apple has even acknowledged this as a fault at their end becaues there are tons of others complaining about the same thing and whether this will be addressed in their update or whether I should just toss this expensive p.o.s out the window and not wait. I'm no longer in the country of purchase so i cant even go into the darn store to get this replaced even though its under warranty.

Facebook Integration iOS 6 No Longer Working iPhone 3G

Last week I updated my iPhone 4S (Verizon) to iOS 6. I was thoroughly pleased with the Facebook integration, especially the fact that I could pull down the notification window and post to Twitter and Facebook.  Then this morning that all stopped...and the Facebook problems started. When I try to post to Facebook using that drop down menu in notification area I get an error message saying that the post couldn't be completed because the connection to Facebook failed. When I tried to post directly from the Facebook app, the app would crash as soon as I hit post. When I re-open the app, the post is there (sometimes it even posts twice) but without fail the app crashes as soon as I hit send/post.  I don't know if this is a Facebook issue or an Apple issue...it's probably both. What I do know is that it's annoying...even more so that no one seems to have an answer. I've tried resetting (hard and soft), deleting apps, reinstalling...nothing works. I don't know why its saying that the connection to Facebook failed. When I post to Facebook using other integrated methods (photos, links) there's no problem with connecting then. It is only when I try to do it from the pull down menu and it JUSt started today. I've been using this feature constantly since I upgraded to iOS 6.  Has anyone else had this problem? I can use the Twitter integration just fine, no issues.

Iphone 5-IOS6 Signal problems

I'm with AT&T and upgraded to Iphone 5 Friday.  Since then my signal has been horrid at best while in buildings.  At my office, I have never had an issue with data,  phone works but can drop if it's a long call.    Since new phone,  i get no data sitting at my desk, even If I go to the window.  I sit with my ATT Iphone 5 and a coworkers ATT Iphone4 and they have 3-4 bars, I go from No Service, ATT, LTE, 4g and 1 bar.   Things I've tried: Reset Network settingsremove the caseturn off/on Complete master reset and restore from backup  No change Called ATT and they suggested it could be a bad SIM.  Picked up a new SIM last night, called ATT to setup new SIM number.  After much to do,  the new SIM card came up and no notcible difference.  Get to the office this morning,  same issues with being in a building,  dropping signals while my co workers with their ATT Iphone 4s have 3-4 bars.  I don't have anyone else in the building with an Iphone 5 to see if it's specific to my hardware, or if it's a bigger issue with the phone in general.  At this rate, I'l likely schedule an appt with Apple to have it replaced

I too remember those Storm days, wanted to throw the thing out the window most of the time. So far, I have tried a reboot, hard reset, and full restore.  Really starting to get concerned that this is in fact a hardware issue.

itunes sync problems and wish list iPhone 3G

No doubt the iPhone is the most beautiful mobile phone with the greatest (and most consistent user experience). Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for iTunes! This tool (and being forced to use it) is the single greatest frustration in the iPhone experience! I am sure many may not agree with me, especially considering it works fairly well as long as you don't change computers, want to sync two different iDevices (with same account BUT different content), temporarily remove apps/songs because of storage limitations, use app folders and expect iTunes to respect their content and placement, or try anything else outside iTunes limited scope. In short, iTunes is either incredibly non-inuitive, I am an idiot for not figuring it out, or it is absolutely the worst part about the iDevice family. My problems began when I changed computers and since then, I have not been able to sync to my new computer. The problem is (or seems) that iTune is insisting on syncing in *one direction only*, with the message, "Are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone "xxxxxxx" will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library." This message appears when I attempt to check the Sync Apps check box.  So what do I do? I have already deleted iTunes and reinstalled it. - Yes, I have right-clicked on DEVICES, and selected BACKUP and SYNC and TRANSFER PURCHASES (why so many options AND what the heck are the differences?)- If I ignore that dire warning and select Sync Apps, the preview window shows all my apps in a jumbled mess. In stark contrast, my iPhone apps are arranged in my own logical order and placed in organized app folders. I am afraid if I click SYNC, this is the mess that iTunes will send to my iPhone!  All I want to do is start over... how to fix freeze iPhone 4S

Hi, i got an 4s that all the suddenly started to freeze and restart really slowly. not usabel anymore.I restarted a few times and after a while i uppdated it. no use.then i totaly restored via itunes from dfu mode, but i cant even get thru the starting guide when the phone is done with the installation.First time starting after install, ill slide to start "first time startin guide" and it freeze for 30 sec or so. then it get pass this poing. next fail is whenit asks me what wifi i want to log in to. ill select the one and it open a login window and then freeze completely. and this i have notice is EVERY time its time for numbers or alfabetics. instant freeze. I have seen many ppl asking about this problem, but no one got answers to it. OFCOURSE this happens to the phone a few weeks after the one-year limited warranty is out. What am i to do? Thank you and have a nice day! And im sorry for my bad spelling/language!

What tradedoubler actually iPhone 3G

Every time I click on a link that opens the App store on my iPhone - for instance, in one of those "free apps" applications, it goes via Safari. In that short moment that the Safari window floats by, I can see that it goes to a "tradedoubler" link.  I looked it up: Tradedoubler is "an international performance-based digital marketing company". Which tells me exactly nothing at all. It doesn't explain in any case why my looking up some or other iPhone app should necessarily go via them. Other links that Google comes up with explain technicalities about "link generation". What I don't get is why Apple would need an external party to create links to, say, their own app store? In other words, what is this "international performance-based digital marketing company" really doing? It's not that I'm in any way bothered by them: they don't send me bills; they don't block things. They just swivel past on that odd Safari window every time I click an app store link. It's just a bit weird.  It is as if a representative of some "international performance-based cash marketing company" would suddenly pop up every time I make a cash payment and insert themselves in the transaction that was hitherto taking place between me and, say, the supermarket cashier: a guy in a business suit would take the money from my hand and hand it to the cashier. And everyone would just stand there and act as if it's the commonest thing in the world.   That's how it feels: some inscrutable entity has inserted itself into something that I would consider to be nothing but a link - not more complicated than the "a href" sort of thing in HTML.  I just can't help wondering about it - does anyone know if there is a good solid reason for this Tradedoubler to poke its nose in my App Store business all the time?

Water damage on iPhone Can it be saved

I left my iphone in my bathroom near the shower by a window and I discovered that there was water on the inside of the screen, and then the screen didn't respond to my touch for a little bit and then it eventually did..and there was still water on the inside of the screen but i was sort of in a rush to call someone, and it had 3% remaining and i plugged it in a wall charger. It worked fine with the charger for about 15 minutes, and then the screen suddenly turned black and it turned itself off.
