Replacement iPhone 4S not restoringbacking-up

I had my old 4S stolen (it was pass-protected, and I wiped it with FindMyiPhone within 12 hours).  I got a new one and had the data restored from icloud.  However, it has been a week and it is telling me that it is still being restored, and that it hasn't backed-up yet since the restoration isn't complete.  I charge it every night in room with a strong wifi signal. What do i need to do to get this restoration to finish?  I can't see anything that still needs to be restored.  Is it just caught in a loop somewhere?

So my Iphone 4s has been having problems with the no service error now and again so I decided to reset the network settings to try and fix it. Now since this reset,my iphone refuses to connect to wifi even though the password I'm entering is 100% correct!  I keep getting the 'Incorrect password error'. I've resetted the router and reset the wifi network, rebooted my phone,performed a hard reset but there is still no fix  I have many other devices connected to my wifi without any problems. 3 computers, an ipad, android tablet and other iphone. My phone is jailbroken on 6.1.2 so I don't want to have to restore my phone. My phone will connect to wifi with wifiFoFum but as soon as my phone goes to sleep it disconnects so its rather annoying! I hope you can help

Ive tried everything even tried restoring phone and it still wont connect. This just happened when i woke up one morning and it just disconnected and wouldnt connect back. Someone please help!!!

Please Help-How I Permanently Save iPhone Messages to Mac

Hello,      I currently have an iPhone 4s 16 GB and am quickly running out of storage space.  I only have about 700 MB of space remaining and my "Other" category is taking up 6.27 GB of space!  I believe that most of this is because of my text messages; I have never deleted any of them and I'm in a group message that easily accumulates over 150 texts per day, so I need space, and fast!!!  I have read about several programs and am definitely willing to buy one, but I would like first-hand information about these programs.  I'm looking for a program that will save my SMS, MMS, and iMessage text messages to my MackBook so that I can delete them from my iPhone.  I would need a program that will save the messages permanently.  I want to be able to save the messages to the program, delete them from my phone, connect my phone to the program at later dates and save additional messages, and not lose any messages at all.  I don't want an app that I can only save messages to once because if I try to save more, it gets rid of the old ones and only saves the new ones.  I'm not sure how any of the programs work as far as that goes, so if anyone could reccommend a program to me that would do what I'm looking for, I'd GREATLY appreciate it!!! Thank you in advance for the help!!!

hi I have a iphone 4s and i can not get it to back up to icloud or a computer

iphone 5 issues hopefully have an easy solution. advice would be greatly appreciated.

I got the iphone 5 about 6 months ago and have had wifi reception problems the entire time. I spend most of my time in my entertainment room (studio) which is on the opposite end of the house from the router. I have an imac, an apple tv2, an ipad, and (2) iphone 4 all using the same wifi and housed in this same room. They all have no problem picking up the signal and staying connected. My wife and her son both have iphone 4S and never lose connection when they are in my room. It's very frustrating because I was so excited about being able to mirror my phone through the apple tv and hd tv. I own an AT&T iphone 4 and a Verizon iphone 4 that aren't capable of mirroring. I have the original ipad which isn't capable of mirroring. My wife's 4S and her son's 4S are both capable and do it with ease but it's their phones, not mine. So I stayed patient knowing I would get the next upgrade and it was just a matter of time. Wrong. Between 5 phones, a desktop, a tablet, apple tv, PS3......My iphone 5 was the only one that won't connect. I am not talking about it loses the signal or cuts in and out, I am saying you have to walk halfway down the hall to even get it to detect the signal in the first place. Not a chance in **** of it actually staying connected to it.  I talked to Apple Support about the problem and asked if the iphone 5 had a weaker antenna or if there was a setting that needed to be adjusted. They were polite to me but in so many words let me know that my assessment was ridiculous and news to them. Well okay, no big deal, I just chalked it up as that maybe I got a dud this time as far as the antenna goes. Then, about a week ago, I dropped the phone and shattered the front glass and lcd. Luckily I had insurance and was able to get a brand new replacement. The problem is the antenna reception is exactly the same. So this was not an isolated incident and I wasn't crazy for asking about it. I don't see how they haven't received tons of complaints about this issue. I love Apple products and probably just expect perfection because I have never had any major problems with any of my Apple devices. But it is an unpleasant surprise that the newer model takes several steps back on such an important feature. Sorry for the rant and I remain positive that this issue can be addressed, if it hasn't already. P.S.....The iphone 5 that I got two days ago has an awesome new feature. If you are using the phone for an actual phone call, the person you are talking to can't be heard whatsoever. If you can get them to talk really loudly and repeat themselves at least three times, you will have a greater chance of comprehending the purpose of the call.

HelloMy son has typed in my passcode wrong on my iPhone 5 and it says 'iPhone disabled please connect to iTunes'I had rung O2, and they said that the only thing they can do is do a restore on the phone but then everything will be deletedI'm not bothered about the apps getting deleted, it's the photos and videos I am most worried about because they are of my 4 month old daughter since birth and these are the only photos that I have of her. I have only sent around 20 photos to family and friends so if I lose all these photos on my phone then I will only have 20. There are over 2000 pictures of her on my phone so I really really need to get them back I don't have iTunes, I have never downloaded it or anything. I have always taken my pictures off just by plugging my phone into the computer, going to My Computer and copy and pasting them like that but I have not done this in 2 months and there are so many photos and videos that will be lost.I downloaded iTunes, logged in using my email and password but every time I connect my phone it keeps saying for me to put my password in on the phone but the numbers aren't on the phone screen.Is there any way I can get my photos back?Can Apple get them back for me?Please help

I have a factory unlocked iPhone 4, I recently went on vacation overseas and was using a gsm sim from that country, naturally the iMessage and all werent working but I figured it was because I was out of the US. Since I've gotten back, and started using my old sim, my iMessage, icloud, Facetime, and MMS messaging aren't working. It wont even allow me to activate, the buttons are gray, it's locked or something. And its not a network problem because my sim is working fine, internet, apps everything. Except for iMessage, icloud..etc. Can anyone help?

This whole problem started when I first got my Iphone 5 around christmas time of last year. And i did the normal activation of my new Iphone and syncing my old iphone 4 with this new phone. I synced everything and it was all good, but i started to get these random text from people in my message log. I soon found out that i was recieving every text that was sent to my sister. And if i replied to someone who was texting my sister it would show up like she texted them, not me on a seperate number. Also when i text my sister she would get the text but immidiatly after i sent her it, i would also get a text from myself saying what i sent her. I will literally get a text message from my own number to myself, (Weird ****). So its like my sisters text messaging is fused with mine. Its only messages though, no images or anything else. In the beginging i didnt care about this becasue she wasnt recieving my text i was only getting hers. But now just today she tells me she is getting my text too. And thats a problem! This problem lasted all the way up to about 2 months ago and then i stopped getting her messages. But i gave one of my friends my old iphone 4 and once they activated it for there own use it started to happen again. They use a seperate plan then i do and there number on the phone is different. Before i gave them the phone i wiped everything off of it. i took off the contacts, messages, everything. They use a different apple account and icloud account now on the phone. So idk why it started up again i need help. Here is some background. My whole family shares the same apple account with everything. We have seperate phones, numbers and data for the most part. But with dealing with icloud and itunes anything like that, we use the same account. My sister uses a Iphone 4s btw. With my old Iphone 4 i had no probelms with this, everything was normal. But once i switched to the new iphone 5 this problem has occured. Idk what this is about, i havent heard anyone else with this problem, but i need help! btw my other family members on their phones do not have this problem. So i think it has to do something with the icloud but im not sure! This is a serious problem and i need help! Goodluck!

Wifi connection problems with iPhone 5

The problem I am having is that my iPhone 5 will connect to my wifi at home but won't connect to my wifi at work. Everyone else can connect at work with no problem with their iPhone 4,4s,android phones and iPads.The network I am trying to connect to is a secret network that I have to manually search for it and input a password. I don't have trouble finding the network the issues I'm having is whenever I put the password in it will say wrong password 10times in a row then it might connect for about 10min then it will disconnect itself and when I try to connect again it will either say wrong password or unable to connect to wifi!!!!! Please help I need wifi at work since I am there more than I'm home.Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

I want to start over iPhone

So I got my iPhone 5 around Christmas time, and I feel as though I need to start fresh. I want everything to be as good as new. I am absolutely getting frusturated with icloud right about now. I already put all my pictures on my computer (not connected to icloud), and my contacts are in a vCard folder on my desktop. I don't have music on my iPhone, and my apps I'd like to keep. How do I back up my iPhone to ONLY my computer... When I tried deleting my icloud account, it deleted everything (including the contacts that I backed up to ONLY my computer). Long story short... I hate iCloudI want my phone good as newI want my appsI want my contactsI want my text messages if possible.I don't mind resigning into all my email accounts and app accounts. When I do have my iPhone good as new as when I got it, then I will later on ask a question on how icloud specifically works... with such a tight schedule like mine, it is hard to go to the genius bar and ask all of these questions... Hi, I held down the off and home button on my iPhone 4S 64GB and i thought it just turned off but it reset the apps and i still have photos and apps and everything but when i open any social aps it comes up with "connect to iTunes to use push notifications" and also before this event i was using iMessage all the time aswell as texting and now when i use iMessage it doesnt let me send or recieve messages anymore on my iPhone but it does on my iPad and it lets me recieve Texts. Over the last 4 months or so, my iPhone4's download rate has progressivly slowed. WiFi is still working fine, but cellular data was noticably lagging with missed texts, slow applications, and generally slow browsing. Since then I have switched carriers twice thinking it was a problem with cellular service provider, but to no avail. This last week I have had no ability to connect to my service provider's data network, evident because that little '3G' icon at the top no longer appears in any part of the city I visit. I removed the protective case around the iPhone thinking it could be an antennae issue, but no, still not working. Paranoid, I even checked to see that cellular 3G is turned on in the device settings; it is, and I felt stupid for even doubting that it wasnt.  Is it normal for a cellular phone's hardware to degrade? Could there be an enviornmental factor i'm not seeing?

Screen display problems LCD iPhone 5

I bought an iPhone 5 six months ago from Roger's wireless and I also paid for the application of a screen protector, for a long time both of these worked very well and I had no problems. The other day I put my iPhone into my locker at work and came back a few hours later to find that two spots had appeared on the display. One was near the top of the screen and it looked like a dis-colored splotch while the other one, that was near the bottom of the screen, looked like someone tried to scratch the screen with a dull object . When I turn off the display and examined the outside of the phone there is no scratches or any other physical damage to the phone, I think it may have something to do with the LCD screen. Also, my locker was locked so I know no one was fooling around with it although humidity or something could have played a factor but I'm not entirely sure. The spots are relatively small but pretty annoying, before this my iPhone was in perfect shape . I'm not sure if I am covered by the one year warranty because my phone may have water damage (although I am not sure). I remember a few months back dropping it into a deep pile of snow and when I took it out it was pretty wet, but still continuted to work perfectly find. Regardless, I'm pretty sure thats accident caused the water damage indicators in my phone to be set off . I looked all over the internet and there is different ways of taking off the actual LCD screen and replacing it yourself but I think I would much rather get this done by a professional. I have also heard that the spots may go away eventually. I am not sure if I am going to send my phone in right away but any help at all would be awesome. Thanks!

iPhone won't turn back on

Hi, so last week my phone suddenly turnt off. An hour later I could turn it back on, but then the next day the exact same problem and I couldn't turn it on. About 20 hours later and 5 programs I had fixed it. Then now, its 'died' on me again.  Firstly, I have 100% battery. Connecting to my docking system turns it on but brings up the set up page (connect to iTunes on first use) It isn't recognised when plugged into the wall, I've used threee different wires and different wall adapters. iTunes can't restore it as half way through my phone cuts out and then iTunes can't find it. I don't touch my phone whilst connected so it's an internal issue there.  I have tried other progams and they don't recognise my iPhone either.  Could it be the battery? Should I replace it? Or could it just be loose? It's 2 years old, so yeah I need a new phone. But I currently can't afford to replace it, so I need as much help into getting this one working for now! Ha Ha Also, it's the iPhone 4 and it isn't water damaged.

iOS 7 Shows I have 4.7Gb of Messages Saved I cannot delete. How can I remove these so I can back up to iTunes No Messages in my inbox either. iPhone 5

Hopefully someone here can help me...  My icloud always shows my backup as being 4.8GB, even with EVERYTHING turned off. After downloading iOS 7 I figured out the problem: I have 4.8 GB of  "Messages (Saved)". This is even after deleting ALL my messages. I'm not sure what this could be. I tried PhoneCleaner, i FunBox, and everything else I can find, but I can't find a way to access or view these messages to delete them. Could someone help me? I can't back anything up to icloud with it like this.Note: this was happening even before i upgraded to iOS 7.

iPhone won't charge problems connecting to USB iPhone 5

Just recently, I've been experiencing problems with my iPhone 5. I regularly charge it by connecting it via USB to my computer. However, over the past few days when I attempt to do this, I am spammed with this warning message: "Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled." Additionally, whenever I attempt to plug my phone into a wall outlet to charge, it will connect/charge and then immediately disconnect. I was hoping someone could lead me in the correct direction to resolve this problem so I can efficiently charge my iPhone. Thanks.

wireless Emergency Alerts and Silent Mode iPhone

does anyone know if the wireless Emergency Alerts/Government Alerts will sound while your phone is in silent mode? Seems as though this feature (WEA) is now available on AT&T iPhones, and I normally keep my phone on silent at night. I'm OK with the alert sounding while in silent mode if it's a true emergency (presidential alert or emergency situation) but I'd rather not get Amber alerts unless it's during daytime hours.  I know I can completely opt-out of the Amber Alerts and Emergency Alerts, but I'm curious if the phone will alert regardless of silent mode settings. I'd rather not opt-out of Amber alerts, but if that's the only way to keep from being woken by them, then I'll probably pass on those. Thanks!

I just recemntly exhcnaged a damaged iphone for a new one. the old one was lectricuted and could never come back on. I had backup up some photos on a wondows computer but not all. WHen this happened i was under the inpression that atleast some of the infromation was being stored on the icloud but when i restored from iclouyd the only thing i got back was my contacts and a few old calender netires. no photos and no video. Can t see Cellular Data Network menu iPhone

Hello, I recently bought a brand new unlocked iPhone 5 (iOS 6.1.4 10B350) in person at a Mac store.  I have set up the phone & data service with AirVoice wireless (an MVNO that uses the AT&T network).  AV does not guarantee that MMS will work for iPhones on their service.  That is fine -- I knew that going into this.  However, when I tried to set up MMS anyway following AV's instructions, I couldn't do it because I cannot see the "Cellular Data Network" menu option under Settings-->General-->Cellular.  The person at AV I spoke with said that I couldn't see the CDN option because my phone wasn't unlocked, which is difficult to believe seeing as I specifically bought an unlocked phone.  So, why can't I see the CDN option if my phone is unlocked?  And how can I gain access to it? Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Sincerely,Mike (an iPhone newbie)

I tried to update my iPhones IOS and when I did, it said that I needed to restore my iPhone, so I did, or I tried. When I went to restore it, it worked for a little while, then stopped and pulled up a error that says "there was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone, " iPhone " . An unknown network error occurred (9006). I have searched everywhere for a solution to my problem, to find no solution. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, turning in off firewalls, virus protectors, etc. I am very desperate to fix this problem because my iphone is a paperweight until this problem is resolved, please help me!  

vodafone issues iPhone 4S

Hi all,  i will list my problems and see what you all think,,,,, i have a iphone 4s on vodafone running 6.1.3 firmware, for the first 11/12mths i would say this phone was faultless ( taking around 200 calls a day), recently the phone refuses to make calls and send txt messages, it wont even connect to the internet using 3g, it has to have wirelesss connectivity for the browsers to work. i took it to the local vodafone shop and they insisted it was the sim card at fault, even though i did try it in my other phone (nokia E50-2), so i took the replacement sim anyway. checks already done:- i have taken my vodafone contract sim from the iphone and placed it in the nokia, it works fine sending and recieving both calls and txti have taken my vodafone PAYG sim out of the nokia and placed it in the iphone, it refused to work but worked fine in the nokiai have reset the network settings, i have deleted all apps from the iphone and done a full restore, but it still refuses to workit shows full signal strength all the time where i live, as does the nokia, if i try to call it from the nokia it tells me the phone is not available even though they are sat side by side with full signal, if i try to call the nokia it comes back called failed.i have tried to send a txt message to my own phone number only for it to come back failed, yet in the nokia it sends no problem.vodafone refuse to admit it is a problem with there network and it is an iphone issue, the phone is now 13mths old and out of warranty (typical), i requested the iphone be unlocked from vodafone to check other networks, this has now been done so i put a spare O2 sim in the iphone and it sends and recieves both calls and text with no issues, yet vodafone still say it is not a network problem!!!!!!! is anyone else having similar problems to mine??? or is it something wrong with the phone???? i personnaly think when the phone was updated to the 6.1.3 firmware it has a problem with vodafone, plese tell me what you think, i am going crazy with this phone, cant believe its not kissed the wall or other hard surface yet.

have to restart iphone 4s to make or receive calls

Hi all.Had my iPhone 4s for about a year.  For the last few days I've had to turn it off and turn back on in order to make or receive phone calls (Call Failed message).  It then works fine for a while.  Receive texts (telling me I've missed a call), send texts, connect to internet etc no problem.Any ideas?

I have been having trouble with my iPhone - sudden decrease in battery life, apps not working, Wifi not working, icloud not working (don't ask me why, but when I go to Settings>icloud>Storage and back up, the toggle is off and greyed out, giving me no option to turn it on). I was advised to back the iPhone up on my mac, reset the iPhone to factory settings and then restore it from the Mac.  So, all my apps have come over, but none of my contacts, SMS's, nothing. I can probably live without the SMS's but it will take me a long time to re-enter all my contacts.  However, they are all still in the Mac.  But I can't work out how to get the Mac to send the addresses back to the iPhone.   As previously stated, the icloud doesn't work, so I can't use that.  I looked through previous entries and the advice was: Open iTunes. connect the iPhone. Select it under the Devices heading in the iTunes sidebar. Click on the Info tab in the main window. Check the Contacts box then sync. However, when I do this it say in contacts "your contacts are being synched with your iPhone over the air, over-the-air sync settings can be changed on the iPhone" But I don't want them synched over the air, because over the air (I assume this is icloud) isn't working.  How do I set it (either iTunes or the iPhone) so that it synches, via USB cable, with the contacts on my Mac? I am totally, utterly confused and a bit cross as I am now worse off then before I reset the phone and was told that it would just back up from the computer.  And even more annoyed when I know the data I want is all still there (on the Mac in address book), I just can't drag it across.

my iphone stays on while connected to wall charger but once disconected it shuts down ive only had it 6 months iPhone 4S

so i have an iphone 4s and it has decided to stuff up i did a system restore but since i cant disconnect it from power supply i ant connect it to my computer to run tests to see whats up with it.

Iphone 5 back up and restore problem iPhone 4S

My power button on my phone stopped working so before I went to the apple store today I backed up my phone to the computer (itunes) instead of icloud. Now I have my new phone plugged in and I hit restore from computer. It restored all of my texts, pictures, contacts, voicemails etc. Most of my apps restored except for like 10 recent ones which were all PAID for apps. Then a message popped up saying not enough icloud storage to finish restoring. I'm not even using icloud so what is the problem?? I also checked all my apps on itunes, none of the apps that dissapeared are on there either

My wireless option is grayed out? I tried doing all resets but it is still grayed out.
