I have Iphone 5 here in Oman. But there is no any option of Enable LTE in cellular settings. Why is it so? Mobile Operators have LTE services and my SIM is also privisioned with LTE. Re Iphone 4s wifi
My iphone 4s no longer allows me to connect to any wifi connections. The option is greyed out and wont let me do anything to it. I have tried restarting and resetting the network connections and all settings but this has not worked. The wifi came back briefly randomly at one or two points but could not find any wifi networks. I have read on the internet it is probably a hardware problem so I will be taking it back to apple next week. Just wondered if anyone had any further ideas about the problems?

iPhone battery says 20 but actually 1 iPhone 4S
Hi,I am wondering if anyone else has seen this issue & can provide a fix or offer advice on why this is happening? I have an iphone 4s & very happy with is. However. when the battery % lever reaches 20% the phone 'switches' off - if I connect the charge cable the battery indicator says 1% & charging. Yet if I then hold the power button to swich the iphone on, it says 21% & charging. Any idea why this is happening & how I get the battery to show correct value.On an aside - it charges fine to 100% and iphone is overwise fine. Thanks, T

Lost Mode Alarm continues-I found my iPhone 5
Hi. Last Saturday morning I lost my phone and immediately went onto iCloud and entered the phone into Lost Mode, sent the message and Played Sound. Spent all that day reporting the loss to the police, insurance and Vodafone and generally panicking. Went to bed that night, put hand under pillow and guess what, found my darling phone!!! What a relief!! Cancelled Lost Mode on iCloud and restored passwords, Vodafone etc. HOWEVER, at various times (and obviously I never get any warning), the lost alarm still sounds and in public, people must think I have stolen my own phone!!! I have tried different ways to stop the alarm happening again eg setting Lost Mode over again and then cancelling it again but the alarm still goes off. All I have to do is press the on/off button to stop it sounding but the fact that it goes off in the first place is the problem. It should be cancelled! Why does the alarm still go off? HELP PLEASE! A purchased a iphone 4 GSM model. I have been trying to restore it (being the screen said to connect to itunes) but when I went through the restore process, itunes recongnized it, it went through what appeared as all but the last second of restoring when I got a " The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. I have been trying to update my iPhone's software for the past few weeks due to my current provider not being found. (A bar that says "Searching" is always at the top where my 3G should be.) Yet whenever I try directly from my iPhone, it always end with an error message. So, yesterday I tried updating directly from itunes and I let it download the new update and all that. However, after it finished trying to update my iPhone, it put my iPhone in a recovery mode and I've been trying to fix it eversince. I can not access my iPhone, all it has is an icon saying to connect to itunes. I've tried troubleshooting, checking my software, updating my computer etc. yet it still leaves me with this message: "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1)." I've looked on the apple site and I've made sure my security is up to date, my computer is up to date, my itunes is up to date and that I have restarted my computer. I am very irritated and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do because my warranty is over with apple and I still have a few years on my contract. I attempted to get the phone replaced by AT&T since it is within their 14-day Return/Exchange policy, but of course they denied me based on it being a "technical" issue and therefore a problem I need to take up with Apple. I have tried resetting and erased all data but still no luck detecting network. 3G is found briefly when powering back up. I have tried two different sims from two different providers 3 an Vodafone but whilst carrier is found neither connect. Wifi if working fine as are all other phone functions. Any ideas?

Right, my problem is that my iPhone is turned on BUT the screen is blank. How can I get this to turn off or reset and respond to my iTunes. I've tried the manual reset by pressing the the sleep/on/off button with the home button at the same time and I get nothing. I've even tried plugging it into my laptop to respond with iTunes but that doesn't work either. It will connect to a wall charger with the same wire as that I'm using to connect to the computer. I need as much help as needed.

I just bought a second hand (perfect condition) iPhone 4S today, the user sold it because they had upgraded to an iPhone 5. The previous user did not restore the phone they just deleted all of their previous data (contacts, pictures, applacations, they left their 1,100 songs though), so I planned on restoring it later tonight to start fresh. I had it activated to my phone number at the Verizon store on my way to a family party and used it throughout today but put barely anything onto it knowing I would be restoring it tonight. I got home and plugged it into my laptop and went to iTunes found "Emily's iPhone" and then hit the restore button like normal, it worked perfectly fine and went the whole 14 minutes it said it had to. Then my phone went to the "connect to iTunes" screen when it was already connected. I checked to make sure everything was plugged in correctly, and it all was perfectly fine. I tried the manual reboot (holding the home and lock buttons for a few seconds) and all it does is shut off and bring me to the same "connect to iTunes screen".. someone please tell me how I can restore my phone! iPhone 5 on Verizon upgraded to 6.1.4 (over the air, not via iTunes) has resulted in the phone giving priority to 3G in areas where LTE is available. I am able to get LTE when I disable and enable the radoio (Airplane Mode). Unless I force this, my phone is either on WiFi or 3G. LTE is enabled (Settings -> General -> cellular -> Enable LTE: On). Is anyone else experiencing this?

Viber Editing text hard to impossible-cursor jumps always to end iPhone 3G
Hi all, everytime I want to edit text I'm entering into the message box, I'm not able to do it, since the cursor always jumps to the end of the text.This makes it impossible to mark & copy some or all text, as well as rephrasing or correcting typos. The only 'workaround' I found is to keep the finger on the target position (and having the looking glass active) and then type one character (or delete on). I'm a little bit curious since my friend and me are experiencing that issue for a long time now though I found no reference on the net for it yet (except one to a wordpress app). It happens on a 3GS as well as on a 4, at least all 6.* versions of iOS, with the previous (2.3.1) as well as with the current Viber version (3.0.0).Also experienced on iPad (3rd gen, cellular edition) with 6.1.3 / 3.0.0 Any hints or tipps are very welcome! iphone 5 camera not working
So i have my brand new iphone 5, since out of the box (2 days ago) the camera is not working, the camera app launches when i hit the camera icon but the shutter wont open, now if hit home button and then open camera again the shutter opens but the screen is black and i can't use any button on the camera app (auto flash, switch to front camera, etc.). Last night i read somewhere in this forums to turn off "cellular Data" on the facetime setting, and it started working, until today when i got the same problem. i already restored it as new and it did nothing. Please Help.

New iOS update froze my phone and I had to restore my phone. iPhone 5
I try to avoid updates on my iPhone because it's either hit or miss and after the latest update that was released a couple days ago, my worst fear happened. It updated then I left it alone to update. After over an hour I come back and the "connect to iTunes" image appeared and nothing worked. Once iTunes was restarted it said I needed to restore my phone to factory settings. This is ridiculous and very frustrating. I'm not going to lie, several of my friends have Samsung Galaxy S3's or Notes and they seem way more verstitle and reliable then my iphone. Any suggestions?

Bought Mail+ from the store. It won't connect even though I have given it correct the Comcast email adddress, password and incoming domain at least 6 times. It tries to connect for 4-5 minutes and then times out and makes me reenter everything. Two requests for help from their customer service have not been answered in last 48 hours and I'm about to dump the app and move on but I paid for it so hate to give up. Any suggestions?

I do not so much have a question, but a statement: I did the upgrade to iOS 6 last night. I had to delete a lot of apps to make room for the upgrade and did a small icloud back up to save space. But, after waiting and seeing the upgrade time kept going up and up, I just went to bed. Woke up in the middle of the Night to check and my phone said to connect to iTunes. when I did, it told me I had to restore my phone. So I had no choice because, it would not leave the connect to iTunes message on my screen otherwise. This is a horrible glitch!

I have Iphone 5 and try to sync it with my computer (Windows 7 Max.). I have already installed ITunes and verified my computer in AppStore. But anyway I have problems with syncing applications. For example, I've downloaded Translator and tried to install it to Iphone. I've clicked "Sync" in window "Programs", but it goes only up to the third step from four and fails. In window rights it is shown, that this program is already installed, but when I turn off my Iphone from computer, I check and can see, that programs were not installed.My computer is also already verified, so that I can connect it with Iphone. In common settings on Iphone I have already turned on restrictions so that I can install applications. Could you tell me what should I do? I hope that someone had the same problem.

Iphone 5 trouble with charging please help
Haven't had my iPhone for long (around November for my birthday) and for about the last couple of weeks recently I have had major trouble with the battery charge. At first I thought it was the cables, so I got new one after new one and they'd work but then stop working. Until the last one I just purchased, it pretty much stopped charging the phone straight away. No lightening or sound response, no connection via computer etc. So, when my charge ran out I still had it plugged into my computer and now my phone only chargers when it's off when it's plugged into a USB port (bear in mind, it doesn't connect to iTunes-it says USB is unrecognized although it still chargers the phone when off). However, it charges fairly quickly when off but when in use the charge diminishes just as quick as it takes to charge. Not only that but now whenever I wish to turn my iPhone off, it turns itself back on. I have recently sent off my phone to the Apple store to have it checked over and it came back to me saying they couldn't reproduce the symptons I had mentioned so there was me thinking everything was fine but nope, still faulty. So a bit disappointed with paying £7.00 for delivery to have nothing been done about it (not only that, but the phone as also out of charge when returned so it just seemed like my phone wasn't looked over one bit). Also a bit disappointed and annoyed at the fact I'm still paying for my monthly contract for the phone when I am unable to use it!!! I haven't damaged the phone (it basically looks brand new) and haven't exposed it to any liquids. The USB port on my phone where I charge it seems clear too. The annoyance of having to send it back to Apple costing me more money is offputting so does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm going to my local 3 store to see if they can help me out but I'm just a bit fed up now. Can see this is a popular problem amongst other iPhone users too. Many thanks! (Oh and need to add I HAVE updated everything on my phone, restored everything, restarted etc.)
