Hello! I live in Russia and love Apple very much, have many different products and never had any problems with them. And now I decided to buy a new iphone 5 and wasn't lucky. I bought it on 3.05.2013 in normal shop, then turned out that wi-fi and bluetooth are not working and the phone eats battery very fast. Shop doesn't want take it back, official services don't want to repair it for free, because it was made for USA. I really don't know what to do:( To buy android? Hello! i have iphone-4. I was using a prepaid connection in which 3G internet was working properly. Now i switched to postpaid connection but now 3G internet is not working even it has been activated from the provider. It is showing a message 'Could not activate cellular data, PDP authentication failure'.

I did got a update, witch were ment to improve the loudspeaker functions.After installing that, there were no more sound in internal speaker!I have to use loadspeaker, headset or bluetooth headset, to hear when talking anybody on phone.There was no problem with this before the update!!How can I get the iphone to work normal again?

The thing is that i've been trying to use my iphone 4S as master transmiter of GPS signals and accelerometer data for my ipad mini to use an app called air navigation pro, the deal is that when i try to pair my devices vía bluetooth they just seem not to recognize each other, the only way i can get them to work is by using personal hotspot or share internet option vía bluetooth, but thats the only way.I've heard theres a bug related to that, that our friends in cupertino just ignored when they updated IOS, Anyone can help me?, does Anyone has Any info about this, or maybe a solution.By the way since this may be due to my IOS instaled in my iphone my devices are:-Ipad mini wifi only IOS 6.1.3-iphone 4s IOS 6.1.3Thanks in advance for Any info proportioned

So a nasty smash destroyed both Front & Back of my iphone 4, and since having them replaced the Wifi signal has been really weak. I have seen other posts about screen replacement having to be done by going through the antenna, so something could be missing, or done incorrectly during the screen repair. Will definately be taking it back to the shop and finding out if It was put back together properly. In the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to share my Macbook Pro's Wifi (always full signal in my house) directly to my iphone either using USB cable or through bluetooth. It's not been too much of a problem but it would be nice to use my iphone in bedroom using the Macbooks good signal. Note: The replacement front screen on iphone has a small gap >1mm between the screen and centre metal casing on the left side just above the Silent/Loud Switch, which can be noticed by light leaking through the gap. The metal casing also still has a small dent between the volume down buttons and silent/loud switch, again nothing drastic 1mm maximum

I recently purchased an iphone 5 (Monday, May 6th) and am convinced that the battery is defective. I attempted to get the phone replaced by AT&T since it is within their 14-day Return/Exchange policy, but of course they denied me based on it being a "technical" issue and therefore a problem I need to take up with Apple. Whatever that means.Background info: Left the house around 10:00 AM, battery fully charged at 100%Finished class at 12:00 PM, battery dropped to 53% (VERY minimal use, I was sitting through a lecture)Arrived at AT&T store at 12:15 PM, battery at 51%AT&T Rep turns off LTE, Wireless, Location Services, bluetooth and Auto BrightnessThe only apps that were opened/used were Text, Mail (fetch set to Manual) and SafariAT&T Rep says there's nothing he can do, but these changes should "help"Left AT&T 12:25 PM, hopped on bus, got home at 12:45 PM, battery drops to 43% (ZERO use)Call nearby Apple store at 12:50 PM to set up an appointment (Call length: 11 minutes), battery drops to 41%Call Customer Support at 1:30 PM to run remote battery diagnostic (Call length: 16 minutes), battery drops to 32%Apple Rep says the diagnostics looks normal...... I left my iphone 5 on my night stand over night and when I woke up, the phone said SIM FAILURE and instead of the carrier name it said INVALID SIM.I tried re-booting and it didnt work, then I took the sim out and placed it back in again and it still didnt work, so I restored my iphone and it still doesnt work and now I cant even enter the phone since you need a working sim card to activate it HELP ME PLEASE!!
iphone 5 bluetooth issue
I recently upgraded from 4s to 5. I'm experiencing issues with the bluetooth transmission/receive range. When I'm running with the iphone on my arm my wireless headset quite often drops the connection. Same problem when I'm using bluetooth with My car. I can't have the phone in My pocket while driving, I must put it between My seats, otherwhise the connection drops. Had no problem like this with My 4 or 4s, so I convinced it's something with iphone 5. Anyone else? Is it a hardware or software issue?

I went to an Apple store with my 3gs as i have a few problems the girl restored my phone back to factory settings. When i came home i conected my phone to itunes it says only compatible sim cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iphone. please insert the sim card that came with your iphone or visit a supported carriers store to receive a replacement sim card. my sim card is inserted so has the girl that works at the apple store broke my phone. can someone please help as i live quite a bit away from an apple store. Hi all, I have a few Audiobooks which I listen to on my iphone 3GS a lot and I put a couple more and last night I downloaded them and now they have an echo which it didnt before. From what i have read I need to change the playback speed but from all the feedback I have seen online there is no icon on my phone at the bottom right corner I can touch to change it. I have just about tried everything with no luck. PLEASE is there anyone that can help me. I have already lost these books once and have spent a lot of money getting them back. Hi there, Im scott, I dont own an iphone so know nothing whatsoever about them. this is our issue pls help : My sister purchased an iphone 4 from a woman at her work. Her husband upgraded to iphone 5 so sold his old one to my sister. My sister currently has a blackberry on contract to virgin media here in England. She took her BB along with her new iphhone to a local phone shop They cut her simcard down to size and put it into the iphone. When we turned it on we got this message 'only compatible sim cards from a support carrier....... ' I called our current contract to exdplain what we were intending to do and swap settings from a blackberry to her new iphone... they said we needed to contact the original service provider... here lies our issue. My sister works as a nurse.. she called her collgue to explain all this and ask what network he was on. She doesnot kno and her husband isnt home for another cpl weeks he is military. My sister doesnt want to wait a few weeks to use her new phone. Is there anyway to unlock and activate this phone giving all the detials of the phone and confirmation from his wife regarding the new user ? Ive read on the internet about jailbraking and all that nonsense.. but i dont want to damage the phone.. It isnt stolen isnt lost sureley i dont have to 'hack' into a perfectly legitimate phone to use do i? iphone 4s Water damage. earpods work but no speaker
I dropped it in water.. for the third time. The speakers do work, when i activate siri it works and registers my voice, and earphones work aswell. Sometimes the volume slider will show up, but goes away in seconds. I restored phone, riced it overnight, used credit card to try and clean out the ports and q-tip in headphone jack. What else is there to do to fix this?!
iphone 4 gets very hot
Hello everyone. I have an iphone 4 16gb with iOS 6.1.3, so yesterday i was using it normally, put it back in my pocket with 36% battery. After 1 hour or so i pick it up again and I had a nasty surprise the phone was very hot and battery drained down to 15%, i didn't have 3G, wifi, bluetooth, locations or other stuff or apps running, the phone was in standby. I get home and try to do a restore and i got another surprise, while it was connected to the PC instead of recharging it the battery went down and the phone shut off. Managed to restore it eventually, it stopped heating in standby but whenever i am at the menu doing nothing again with no apps or other stuff turned on it starts to get hot in the upper right part, people say it's the CPU..i don't know what to think anymore, last time it did this a restore solved it but not this time..any ideas?

The iphone has never supported bluetooth file transfer. This is a known fact. Issues after 6.1.4 update iphone 5
IS anyone else having issues after the 6.1.4 update? Here is what I have experienced in the last two days. 1- Unable to access a locked or secure network. It asks for password initially. When entered, it is unable to connect. I restart and then go to Settings, find the network and click. I never get a prompt for the password, just "Unable to Connect" 2-bluetooth. I can after a few attempts to connect my bluetooth headphones, only after I get a "Failed attempt" a few times. Then only music works, unable to make phone calls. This happens with two different products. A SENA SMH 10R and LG HBS 700. 3- Music play - I found this issue out when trying to figure out problem with bluetooth. I can start to play a song fine, but if I click on the ">>" or "<< " it freaks the player out and then skips multiple songs or stops play and goes back to the playlist. At first it was doing this with the bluetooth headphones when using it to make selections. So I deleted the devices and the iphone continued to do it when selecting functions on the screen. Some playlists did it and some don't. Creating a new playlist did not help. Additional Info.Apple Store replaced my iphone on Saturday 5.4.13 because if antina issues. The issues above came after I restored from backup and updated the OS. I have erased the phone 2 times since getting the new phone and restored from back up and rebuilt from Itunes and neither way makes a difference above. What is going ON? Battery life-iphone 4
Well I tried turning off the bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity. After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours. I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iphone 4 battery? My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.
Turn off everything except GPS iphone 5
I have a CDMA iphone (Verizon), and I frequently hike using an app that tracks my route with GPS. However, the battery drains completely in 3-4 hours partly because the phone is looking for a cellular network. I tried turning on Airplane Mode, but that also disables the GPS. Of course, I have turned off cellular data and bluetooth, but the phone keeps looking for a cellular (voice) network. I have checked forums and people with GSM phones simply remove the SIM card, but I can't do that since I have a Verizon phone. Is there any way to turn off the battery-draining search for a cellular network when I am in remote areas?

Don´t buy a iphone 5 It simply don´´t work stabil in the bluetooth word. I can sometimes, and sometimes not connect to me Ipad 2 and PC. turn of and on, sometime i works some time i don´t work. I am waiting and Waiting because it is so slow to connect. I am very disappointed by having buying one of the perhaps the most expensive phone om market.But I can not use it in my proffessionel work life. Other phones do not have these problems.
Distortion when playing back audio left and right channels. iphone 4S
Recently, my iphone 4s has been producing distortion in the right channel when playing back music and/or making VOIP calls. It is now starting on the left channel as well. Making cellular calls is fine (no distortion). Playing music through the doc connector is fine. Playing music through bluetooth is fine. Have I fried my onboard DSP for the onboard audio output devices? When I record video, audio is unbearably distorted.

My iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta). Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck? I have been having multiple problems with my iphone 5 and ive only had it for 6 months. I have been restoring it to factory settings on a regular basis however it still has been having problems (more and more frequent. #1 Teathering. I have been having trouble teathering off of my phone. (i tried several devices to rule my macbook out of the troubleshooting, nothing works) No device picks up my wifi or bluetooth personal hotspot. My macbook does not even recognize my USB connection in network settings. #2 My wifi on the phone is also a hassle. It has been becoming more and more intermittant, but rarely works. I have tried multiple networks with the same result. #3 My phone has become generally slow especially for safari and mail. On wifi, they dont work at all. on 3G, and LTE, the phone has also become very slow and often won't load at all. As stated above, restoring used do fix everything but that fix has become very short term, and often hasn't been working at all. Can someone help me?
