Remote viewing andor controlling an iDevice screen iPhone 3G

Hello folks,  I am in a bit of a pickle! Short of you know what (have to keep the censors off me), is there any possibly way to remote view an iDevice screen on a Windows based computer? I am a eLearning/instructional designer and I have been tasked with creating eLearning courses on how to use our iDevice apps. But my dilemma is, how the heck do I capture the screens? Yes, I know about power/home but that isn't nearly practical, especially for capturing motion. I thought I could do it with the remarkable Teamviewer app but after speaking with their development team, it turns out that this has been an outstanding request to Apple. For quite some time, they have been requesting their customers ask Apple via feature request. It seems obvious that their must be a way because I have seen Apple iPhone instructional videos in the past. Or is this the exclusive domain of a Mac with AirPlay? Thank you BTW, I specifically (at this time) need to remote view an iPhone 5 screen... therefore, an iPAD only solution will not work.

All of the sudden my iPhone 4S speakers are giving problem. The sound comes and goes and the even I increase or decrease the volume, no volume control shows up.

Dropped iPhone 4 in to toilet but hear me out

I dropped my phone into the toilet. I got it out as quickly as possible, but it did get submerged. When I got it out, the screen turned on by itself, but I didn't think much of it, and I stuck it in rice for a few hours. When I went to check on it, it seemed fine, as the screen turned on and all the buttons seemed to be working, other than being slightly laggy. The volume buttons worked, but the didn't seem to do anything to the volume. The speakers worked as well, and even the vibrating part did. the lagging didn't get any better though, so I decided to see if reseting it would work. It turned off fine, and the apple symbol came up, but that was where it stopped, and it now will not turn on. I checked the LCI in the headphone jack and the charging slot, and the one in the headphone jack has a tiny pinkish-red dot, and the one in the charging slot doesn't look red at all. I stuck it back into the rice just in case. Can anybody help with my situation?Just some info, up until I put my phone into the rice the first time, I was mostly in full panic mode, and even after I put it in the rice, I kept checking to see if it worked by pressing the sleep button. I'm pretty sure I did everything I'm not supposed to do, but what can I say?

I go on vacation tomorrow, to Egypt for a week. According to the weather it's currently 40 degree's! I will most likely listen to spoitfy (offline-mode) while lying in the sun, i will cover my iPhone to keep it out of direct sunlight, however will it be safe? It's a brand new iPhone and i'm worried i will destory the battery life or hardware or anything in general.  Thanks.

IPhone 5 Dissatisfied

Bought an IPhone 5 & after 13days the home button stopped responding. Got a replacement (probably a refurbished one) from Apple Store. Now exactly 13days later the home button has started playing up again.

I brought an iphone 5 as soon as they come out, realised yestoday  when I took it out the case to clean it that it's bent near the volume  buttons!!I rang local apple store and booked in to see a genius about this, just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem.. Has apple replaced your bent phone?? After paying over £500 for a phone you do not expect it to bend, I have took v good care of the phone!! Thanks any helps will be appreciated.

when i bought my iphone5 the volume was the same as that of my ipod. after i ve updated it to ios 6.1.4 the volume has degraded. Is this due to the ios update or in the manufacture of the iphone 5 ? kindly help

built in speaker on my iPhone 5 sounding grainy and scratchy. have fix

So last night I was talking via speaker phone and suddenly noticed that the sound quality was horrible.  It was extremely grainy and scratchy sounding.  At first I thought it was just something with the call quality so I turned off the speaker and talked on the phone normally.  Later I got an e-mail and noticed that the tone that it made also sounded scratchy.  So I tried playing a song through the iPhone speaker and sure enough that was awful too.   I know it's the internal speaker because the music played fine through headphones.  Has anyone experienced this before?  If so, how did you go about fixing it? Thank you!

iPhone 5-rattling phone second replacement coming

hi guys. i can see this is a common issue. i have heard a few different reasons about why this is happening. either it's the autofocus mechanism or the vibrate motor.whatever the reason, this should not be happening on a £600 piece of hardware. the quality control at apple is not what it used to be and when they are rushing to manufacture millions of devices to tight deadlines in china then this is a problem that was going to happen sooner or later.i am of the opinion that this is a fault with possibly more than 50% of all iphones manufactured to date and apple needs to do a product recall. it seems that they have told staff to not admit this as a fault to try and avoid just that.i got a replacement and it arrived, the rattle was slightly less noticable but definitely still there. i just ordered another replacement and will continue to keep doing so until i get a device that doesn't rattle.before anyone says that this is normal and it is SUPPOSED to rattle, that is BS. i have been to the apple store in brighton and tried the display models and even tried a few they had in the back after speaking with a staff member. out of the 12 phones i went through, 2 didnt rattle AT ALL. Now you tell me if that is normal and people should just put up with the substandard product that apple has churned out this time. I say NO, and the more people that actually make a stand, the quicker apple will be forced to spend some of their $600B on fixing this issue.

iphone 5 suddenly no sound

I recently had a software update (6.1.4) on my Iphone 5.  I ran the update last week and everything seemed fine.  However, as of yesterday my phone no longer made sound, it just stopped making sounds to everything.  It makes no sound when it rings, when I receive a text/email or when I try to listen to music.  The sound is completely dead.  The little switch on the left of the phone is turned on for volume.  I did a reset and nothing seems to help.  Has anyone encountered this problem?  Does anyone have a solution?

So a nasty smash destroyed both Front & Back of my iPhone 4, and since having them replaced the Wifi signal has been really weak. I have seen other posts about screen replacement having to be done by going through the antenna, so something could be missing, or done incorrectly during the screen repair. Will definately be taking it back to the shop and finding out if It was put back together properly.  In the meantime I was wondering if it is possible to share my Macbook Pro's Wifi (always full signal in my house) directly to my iPhone either using USB cable or through bluetooth. It's not been too much of a problem but it would be nice to use my iPhone in bedroom using the Macbooks good signal.  Note: The replacement front screen on iPhone has a small gap >1mm between the screen and centre metal casing on the left side just above the Silent/Loud Switch, which can be noticed by light leaking through the gap. The metal casing also still has a small dent between the volume down buttons and silent/loud switch, again nothing drastic 1mm maximum

My iPhone 4S will only vibrate with incoming calls and texts! I tried resetting the phone, using the side volume panel, and changing the swipe bar in sound settings, but none of those seem to work. Any advice?

volume control on iphone not working need helpJust yesterday it was fine but now its not there  I have a iphone 4s with iOS 5.1.1The volume button on the side no longer works when you press up or down it just pops up the screen that says ringer and the volume image but wont change the volume. Also where the volume is on apps like youtube is a black box and you cant change the volume or anything. Any help is appreciated.

My + volume button is stuck and it decreases the volume if I press it hard enough.I have no idea how this happened, i never dropped my phone and everything else works fine also my phone looks new with no scratches.Will the limited 1 year warranty cover this? If so do I need to take anything else except my phone to the apple store?

Dipped left speaker on my iphone 4s into some vanilla ice cream. suggestions

My hand slipped while holding the phone and eating ice cream. The left speaker got a dunking. Yeah I know I screwed up but that's life. I licked the ice cream off but now the sound volume on the left speaker is reduced compared to the right speaker which didn't get the ice cream treatment. Any suggestions? (Other than dipping the right speaker in so they both sound the same?) Thanks

iphone 4s battery draining

Hi, I've recently noticed that my iphone 4s battery is draining very quickly. Normally, I would charge my phone overnight and it would last the whole day. Recently i've noticed that my battery drains extremely quickly, just now its gone from 55% one minute to 35% the next! Earlier today, in 3 hours my battery went from 100% to 15%.  Does anybody know how to fix this? Ive seen some articles saying that people notice that their iphone batteries drain fast after the 6.1.3 update, but I downloaded this a while before my battery has been playing up. I would appreciate any help/tips! Thanks

My iPhone 5 volume button not work when phone locked

When my iphone 5 is locked the volume buttons are not working. I have to unlock my phone in order to change the volume using the volume buttons. Is this normal for the iphone 5 or is there something wrong because I know that the volume buttons can be used when locked when I had the iphone 4

I've had my Iphone 5 since November and have had no problem with it but over the past couple days,my phone will randomly start playing music when im on the internet or when im have an app opened or even when my phone is locked and I'm not on it. Siri also activates out of knowhere sometimes. How can I fix this?  This is really starting to get irratating! I could use some help!

Iphone 4s Water damage. earpods work but no speaker

I dropped it in water.. for the third time. The speakers do work, when i activate siri it works and registers my voice, and earphones work aswell. Sometimes the volume slider will show up, but goes away in seconds. I restored phone, riced it overnight, used credit card to try and clean out the ports and q-tip in headphone jack. What else is there to do to fix this?!

My phone volume is very low only for calls. I use the Voxer walkie talkie app and the ear piece volume is loud, but as soon as I make a call or listen to a voice mail, the volume is near mute as max volume. Any solutions?!

iPhone 4s Headphone Jack Problems

Just yesterday I plugged in my headphones to listen to music, and music was only playing out of one side, and very vaguely out of the other side.  I thought it was my set of headphones so I tried multiple sets of different headphones, with the same problem.  Is there any way I can fix this? Or do I need to go to a best buy and try and get my phone repaired? Thanks

Distortion when playing back audio left and right channels. iPhone 4S

Recently, my iPhone 4s has been producing distortion in the right channel when playing back music and/or making VOIP calls.  It is now starting on the left channel as well.  Making cellular calls is fine (no distortion).  playing music through the doc connector is fine.  playing music through bluetooth is fine.  Have I fried my onboard DSP for the onboard audio output devices?  When I record video, audio is unbearably distorted.

 Purchased my 4S form from Dubai while on holidays and regretting it, as Facetime was disbaled in it. Was not aware of this until i reached UK and tried using it.Last week took it to Apple store as the speakers started playing up. As it was within warranty period they replaced it with another 4S, said the speaker madule was fauly. Was over the moon as i thought the replacement phone would have Facetime as i am in the UK, lone behold all my hopes were shattered when i switched it on! Facetime is disbaled in it too. ***!  Called up customer service and complained, their reply LIKE WILL BE REPLACED WITH LIKE Is it fair, please i need your opinion

how I fix audio problems on my iPhone 4s

I was given a iPhone 4s, my sister got another phone and I had an iPhone 3Gs. She failed to tell me the audio was giving her trouble... The phone rings and my alarms go off but when I'm on apps and playing music I can't hear anything... What can I do to fix it? I've tried restoring, restarting and resetting my phone and they haven't fixed the problem... This site I saw stated that when all else fails jailbreak your phone but I'm not sure what that will do to my phone. What else can I do?

Shoutcast Music App iPhone 3G

Hello, I have previously used Shoutcast radio player on Android and I liked the fact that it showed the name of the song playing.  I downloaded Shoutcast for my Iphone and that feature has been removed it seems.  So my question is this:  Is there a preferabley free music app that will allow me to search for my genre of music and play that station and list names of songs? My generes of music are Metallica Stations and Soundtrack Stations.  That's what I like to listen to mostly. So is there any app out there or am I stuck with Shoutcast until they update the app?   Thank you for your assistance

Device: iPhone 4S (GSM)iOS Version: 6.1.3Capacity: 16 GBJailbreak: NoCarrier: TELCELCountry: Mexico Problema con el Volumen:Lo que pasa es que a veces es de que cuando tengo reproduciendo musica / videos derepende se le va el audio al iPhone y desaparece el control de volumen, y tarda para que aparezca de nuevo, no se que es lo que pasa o por que hace eso, si a alguien le sucede algo similar y lo pudo arreglar, por favor pueden indicarme cuales son los pasos a seguir para quitar esta molestia. Problema con el Reproductor / Musica:La cancion ya termino y no se cambia la caratula y empieza la otra a sonar, o la cancion se esta reproduciendo y la barra de la cancion (no del volumen) no avanza se queda en 0:00 y la cancion esta sonando e incluso acaba la cancion empieza la otra y la que puse originalmente esta en la pantalla principal. No se si este problema venga relacionado con lo del control del volumen. La verdad si sabe alguien como solucionar estos dos inconvenientes se lo agradecere mucho.   Problem with volume:What happens is that sometimes I have is that when playing music / videos suddenly going to the iPhone and the audio volume control disappears, and it takes to bring up again, do not know what's going on or why do that, if someone happens something similar and could arrange, please can tell me what are the steps to follow to remove this annoyance.  Problem with the Player / Music:The song is already finished and not changed the cover art and the other begins to ring, or the song is playing and the bar of the song (not the volume) does not advance stays at 0:00 and the song is playing and even just the song begins and the other that originally put this on the main screen. Do not know if this problem comes associated with volume control.  Actually if anyone knows how to solve these two drawbacks agradecere it much.

iPhone 4 dead. Plugged into speaker and cut out. Not responding in DFU mode or anything.

I have had an iPhone 4 for a couple of months no problems with it yet. Yesterday I plugged into a docking station like usual with full battery and it started playing music then stopped, suddenly blacked out and not responding. I have tried charging it for hours, putting it in DFU mode, connecting it to my laptop, no response. It is not responding to anything! And the warrenty has expired. HELP MUCH APPRICIATED!
