My Iphone shows full service (all bars and 3g but will not make calls, send texts, or surf web. What is going on here? Any suggestions? Powerbook Mac OS X (10.5.5)
I believe that after updating to 2.2 my WiFi at my office didnt work so well. The router would sporadically show up but drop the connection. Turns out that 3 out of 5 of us have this problem. I did discover that resetting my iphone made WiFi work good as new for us but only for a day it seems. Plus I had to redo all of my settings and icons which was a pain in the butt.Yesterday I tried just resetting the iphone network settings. So far, not only has that worked, but I dont have to redo all of my personal settings. Its the 2nd day and my WiFi is strong and stable at work.Hope this helps. 2.o Dual Core G5 Mac OS X (10.5.5) 2.5 gigs of ram
1. I have now updated my Iphone three times. This last update was to 2.2 from 2.1. My Lenovo X300 WIN XP PRO will not finish the installation it just hangs checking the phone. I have to connect the phone to another computer preferably a Mac and then complete the recovery process. I know many others have had this problem. Any hope for a solution?2. The second problem was the most frustrating. After updating to 2.2 my downloaded programs had disappeared. During the software upgrade process it did a successful backup and I restored after updating (otherwise I wouldn’t have had my contact music etc.). The phone seems totally normal and is running 2.2 however my downloaded program is gone.M Petersen Lenovo X300 Windows XP Pro

I get the message could not activate cellular data network today. This just started. I have a 16gig 2G phone, but heard its happening to others with 3G in the area (east coast USA). I tried a reset network settings and complete reset, but still getting this error. Assume its an AT&T issues, but any ideas? Dual G5 and Powerbook G4 (15in.)
Hello. Ive recently had some hard drive issues on my laptop, which forced me to reformat my hard drive. My iPhone now thinks I am using a different computer, which I guess means I need to resync and delete everything on it. What a pain...I have some pretty straight-forward questions, and Ive searched the forums looking for answers but havent found any yet, so excuse me if these are asked 1,000 times a day:Will backing up my iPhone really do me any good, in the long run? I guess Im confused about what actually is preserved by doing this. What exactly is lost during a new sync? Will I lose all of my contacts, text messages, and pictures? Or will it just be any music and pictures Ive synced via iTunes? I want to know if I need to type out the numbers and contact info of everything. What about all of my apps? Are they completely gone? Thanks in advance for any help.
While on a long call that started on 3G, I noticed my computer speakers suddenly started chattering at me, so I moved the phone and continued the call.At the end of the call the phone had the blue dot for GPRS where the 3G dot should have been, which means that sometime during the call the phone fell off 3G back to Edge (perhaps) and then to GPRS. I was connected by wifi as well, so I didnt really NEED a 3G connection for data, but I was surprised to see it fall all the way back to GPRS.All of this was seamless to me (other than the chatter, so the iPhone handoff issues from the old 2.0 days are clearly fixed and handoff is pretty seamless. The question I have, is do other people see this fall back all the way to GPRS during calls? Is it common?Message was edited by: icebike .

Hello. I am finally considering an iPhone. Can I use my iTunes and my licensed music on both the 60GB iPod AND the iPhone? I am assuming yes, but figured I would ask the experts. It is really the only thing I cannot find out about the phone. Is it an easy process? Thanks in advance! PC Windows XP

Several times recently (since updating to v2.2) when Ive received a phone call, my iphone has vibrated but the screen remains locked and blank and so Ive unable to accept the call.Has anyone else had the same problem or got any ideas for a solution? It does defeat the purpose of having a phone if you cant receive calls...Many thanksHugh
Ive just bought the iPhone 16GB (black). The design is exemplary! Now, the issues are - no bluetooth, and no facility to search emails! Some guys have received the iPhone for business use, and the main grumble is no search facility in looking up your received emails! Bluetooth is sometimes essential when swapping info between differing cell phones. Well, I like the iPhone but think these two main gripes are a major drawback. Now the two questions are...does anyone working in Apple know of work around solutions? will these features be rectified in the (near) future?By the way, happy new year to everyone. We deserve a good new year! Windows Vista
I am new to the iphone - just received my first one mid December and unfortunately my second just yesterday due to this reason that I AM STILL HAVING.Before the update on my first phone - I had great battery life - full day running just a few applications like twitteriffic, etc. I also have Exchange with Kerio Service set to push. Still - no issues with the battery.I then did the update to 2.2 and noticed the back getting warmer and the battery dropping in just just hours - 4 max if lucky. No changes to the settings at all. I even tried a reset and then a restore and still same issue.Apple then issued me a new phone due to this and oddly - same issues are happening. My question is - is the push to the server causing this and should I have fetch setup instead? I am not sure how this works and which to set to push if i do. Would I turn the Push option off but under the advance tab where it list my email account - should I set that option to Push?I am below a half a battery now and its only be just over 2 hours. Hi there I recently bought a 3G Iphone and a new computer. I installed the Itunes 8.0 and had no problems syncing my songs to my nano Ipod through any of the six USB ports. But when I tried to sync my IPhone, although the computer recognizes the device and I can charge fine, none of my songs downloaded. Ive been through the entire IPhone help guide to no avail. Suggestions?cheersborgia HP Pavillion Elite Windows Vista
I am thinking of starting a petition to Apple about some of the issues on the Great Iphone. I guess the the first simple one will be the issue of sms forwarding which I guess will be easy for the to solve through their next update. But I beleive they need encouragement. Any supporters to help start this??? Toshiba Windows XP
I am fully aware of the restrictions on this phone and feel the need to express myself on the forum and release the frustration with the lack of customizable functions/features the iphone has, if possible I would like to change the black screen, add ringtones to my text message alerts, and maybe possibly delete some icons/programs like stocks and world clock from my display. CAn someone from Apply or steve jobs look into that for me, I have been in many forums and it seems like everyone is having the same issues...could it be that apple just doesnt care what we are saying? Windows Vista
Does anyone have one of these? If so, have you had any issues? Does it work good with iTunes? What service are you using? Im looking to get one to use with T-Mobile in the USA and other carriers outside of the USA. I understand that Apple cant have locked phones outside of the USA.Let me know your thoughts if you have one and if you have encountered issues, as I was told I can always update firmware via iTunes because it has been officially unlocked by Apple, and will not re-lock.thanks! I recently bought a 3g Iphone and just noticed that the screen shifter feature doesnt work every time Im using Itunes. I know that the phone has to be vertical to the ground in order to work. The weird thing is that it works fine say 4 out of 5 times. If I take it to an Apple Store can they hook it up to a computer to run a diagnostic test to see if it is faulty? Has anybody else noticed this problem. Thanks in advance. MacBook Mac OS X (10.5.6)
Two separate issues, maybe a similar cause ...Brand-new phone, two days out of the box, the camera app shuts down when you click the shutter (screen goes back to the array of features, i.e. stocks, weather, youtube etc.), no picture.Second issue: Screen goes black when I click on voice mail, goes black a couple minutes into a call. Cannot access the screen without shutting of phone, turning it back on. Will rebooting the phone resolve this? Im in San Francisco, iPhone 3G owner since the beginning (but new to AT&T). Ive swapped phones and sims, and spent countless hours on the phone with both AT&T and Apple. I have a fully functioning phone, and poorly functioning service.AT&T has confirmed that there are reception issues (due to frequency and over use) in my area of San Francisco, resulting in dropped calls, delayed voicemail and lack of 3G. AT&T has credited my account multiple times, but last month told me that they would allow me to cancel my contract and keep my phone...(or should I say iPod), but would not offer any further discounts on my contract. On a recent trip to Florida, the phone and service functioned perfectly. Full 3G reception 1.5 miles offshore, perfect reception in downtown Miami, not one dropped call the whole trip (except when I called a friend on his iPhone here in SF and his phone dropped the call). The reception issue is documented by AT&T with vague promises that it will be fixed Q1 2009. As it stands, Im feeling pretty lost as far as how to proceed — Ive spent a lot of energy, time and money on this project and have a phone that functions very poorly in my home area. AT&Ts incapable of owning it, and Apple recommends that I use the phone as an iPod (or unlock it). This is completely ridiculous on the part of both AT&T and Apple. MBP / iPhone 3G Mac OS X (10.4.10)
Though Ive visited the genius bar, I still have problems with the below issues...1.) My iphone 6 digit passcode (required for my exchange account) corrupts several times each day locking me out and forcing me to restart my phone, after which the code works correctly. YES Ive done multiple restores to no avail. NO its not jail broken, but thanks for your first two very clever guesses.2.) It periodically loses all reception and sits there searching for a minute or two... annoying!3.) When I receive e-mails with pictures in the message body, for example, a receipt from my Marriott hotel stay, half of the page is cut off on the right with NO ability to scroll over and see it. Also, I want a to do list that picks up from my exchange server that I dont have to download as an app. Or better yet a to do list that syncs with icalendar... weird that it doesnt do this! Why no MMS???? While e-mail is superior FOR THOSE WHO HAVE IT, MMS is NOT obsolete yet Steve Jobs, you are too early considering so many people have regular cell phones without e-mail access. Why is there no copy/paste functionality? especially in texting... I have a strange problem with all our iPhones 3G (we have 3 units). We all have MobileMe accounts and up to about 3 days ago, push was working great, especially after the recent MobileMe updates and 10.5.6.Now, our emails are not pushed to the phones. Emails only comes in only after several minutes (I sent emails to ourselves to test), unlike before, when it was within a minute or so. My MacBook receives the email (via pop) much earlier before the iPhones push mail! It appears to me that the iPhone has defaulted to Fetch mode instead. However, contacts and calendars details and changes are pushed to the iPhones almost instantly. Only email is a problem. This problem started about 3 days ago. I have deleted the email accounts, reinstalled, all to no avail. Are there any issues with MobileMe servers now? Thanks. Hi there,I recently had my 16GB 3G iphone stolen. I got a replacement (I bought an 8GB cause it was sooooo expensive!). When i got the 8GB I upgraded it to 2.2 then restored from the backup of my original phone (as instructed). This worked, and Ive got all my data etc there fine. However, the phone is really unstable. There are 3 (intermittent) problems:1) 3rd party apps attempt to launch then crash and the phone returns to the home screen. Apple apps are fine.2) Sometimes I get a message saying that the phone cant make or receive calls, and a restore is needed. Switching the phone off and on again normally works.3) Sometimes (equally randomly as No. 2) the phone comes up with the connect to iTunes screen that you get when the phone is new. Nothing sorts this out apart from plugging into iTunes, which then gives the message iPhone activated and everything is fine.. till the next issue that is!Any thoughts? I dont want to restore and lose my data!ThanksRegardsStu
Ive seen several bluetooth problem threads on here but I believe Im having different issues. Before the iPhone I had Sony, Nokia and HTC phones all connect easily and beautifully with the same device.Running iPhone 3G v2.2Motorola HF850 Bluetooth Car kitMazda3 OEM audio connector (Music, control and charging)Everytime the iPhone appears to be connected properly to the carkit with the bluetooth icon lit up on the iphone top left and lights and an audible tone on the carkit indicating connection. I always answer the phone by pushing the answer button on the carkit not the iphone:1/4 of the time - Works fine. Music stops on stereo and I can hear the other party and they can hear me fine.1/4 of the time - I can hear the other party fine but they cant hear me.1/4 of the time - It decides to use the mic and speaker on the iPhone instead of the carkit as if you were using it normally.1/4 of the time - Music pauses on car stereo but once I answer the call it starts playing through the motorolas speaker hidden in dash. I cant hear what the other party is saying on the phone due to music and I cant stop it either as you cant play around with the ipod functions of the phone while it is connected to a car stereo. Also, I didnt think you could listen to music on the iphone via bluetooth anyway? Another problem is there is a long pause (10sec) from the time you press the answer button to the time you can speak with the other party. There was a smaller but still noticeable pause with my old Sony Ericsson K800i of a few seconds but it was manageable. Ive unpaired and repaired the phone and kit several times with no change.Ive restored the iPhone via iTunes several times with no change.I thought it may be a problem with the OEM audio car kit but even if I disconnect (unplug) the iPhone from the kit so it is only connected to the bluetooth phone carkit it still has the same issues. At this point Im am really frustrated and annoyed about this and its got to the stage where I dont trust the bluetooth connection at all and will soon stop using the phone in the car at all. This really isnt an option for me.Any help appreciated. 15 1.5Ghz Powerbook Mac OS X (10.5.6) iPhone 3G v2.2 firmware
I really hope my query isnt edited or removed from this Discussion site since I feel it is a legitimate question to ask based on the inconsistent connectivity and speed some of us are experiencing on AT&T with our 3G iPhones...I was in a Verizon store this past Saturday swapping out my teens Env2 phone due to a mechanical screen issue... and while waiting and in front of the Tech Support person, asked if Verizon was using the same 3G towers as AT&T, or visa versa? The response from the Verizon tech person was that:1. Verizon uses its own 3G towers... and2. that Verizon distinguishes the difference and bandwidth between data and voice, contrary to AT&T who does not distinguish the two... which is why AT&T users (especially iPhone users) are having connectivity issues on AT&Ts 3G network... not to mention (as one would suspect from any prodivder) that Verizons 3G network is a more robust and time proven network.2. The claim of Verizons distinguishing between data and voice on their 3G network is due to their separating the two... where AT&Ts data and voice is in the same signal.(??) I am not claiming the Verizon tech support person is correct... but am asking those of you out there who may be more familiar with the technology difference between Verizon and AT&Ts 3G networks to educate those of us out here regarding their claim? I wouldnt ask... but in the past few months on my iPhone, despite being in a Dark Blue 3G AT&T coverage area... only 3-miles from the closest 3G tower... I dont even rely on AT&Ts 3G network and use my home Wi-Fi for consistency and still wondering why I am paying $30 a month for quick and reliable 3G connectivity with the provider having more bars than anyone else? My understanding of 3G technology is that a users connectivity and signal strength is dependent on the number or 3G users accessing a 3G tower at the same time... which determines the available signal strength at that time, and why one may visually watch the bars go from 4-5 down to No Svc in a matter of 30 sec to 1-2 minutes? I have an IPhone 16GB (not 3g) and ever since I updated to 2 and past (2.2) I have had issues connecting to YouTube (especially in my own house). I either get unable to connect, address is invalid, cannot play format, long wait times or no video comes up. What do I need to do?? IPhone Old version Windows XP
I have a 2009 Honda Accord EX-L sedan with navigation. I have successfully paired an iPhone 3G with the car. Calls made from the car saying Dial and reciting a number works fine. Answering calls work fine. However, calls initiated from the iPhone itself works sporadically, at best. When I initiate a call from the phone either from my contacts or dialing a number it always selects HandsFree Link as it should, since it is paired. However, I get no audio. Switching back and forth between the different audio sources does nothing. Once the call is connected, even though HandsFree Link is selected, I get no audio, but (sometimes) when I switch to iPhone and back to HandsFree Link I will get audio. Needless to say, this is not a very HandsFree Link since I have to constantly be looking down at my phone to try to figure out if the call is connected, which audio source I should try to switch between, etc...By the way, in case anyone is wondering, I am running software 2.2 on the iPhone 3G.My questions are:1) Has anyone gotten an iPhone 3G to work properly with the Hondas Bluetooth system?2) If so, what did you do besides just pair the phone like I did? Thanks in advance for any help! So, heres my story... I bought the iPhone on day 1. I have had a love hate relationship with it for the last year because of its shortcomings. I was coming from a Blackberry and missed a lot of its features. I ended up selling my iPhone and going back to my Blackberry, only to buy an iPhone again - several times over the last year. I know that is not cool but it was tough being an early adopter with its early issues. Now that 2.2 is here and all the things I didnt like are mostly gone, I tried to purchase and activate an iPhone only to be told I have reached my limit on activating an iPhone. ATT customer service would not budge. I think they think I have been selling them for profit or something. I know it looks bad but I REALLY want to end up with the iPhone. It is now very stable (I did have lots of freezing and crashing early on). Does anyone know a way around this activation thing, or have heard of this issue with anyone else?Miss my iPhone. I do not have a question, rather, Im hoping to save someone else time and headache. When I first purchased my phone about a month ago, I used it extensively for the first day or two and personalized the settings to my tastes. However, on the 2nd night I owned it, I downloaded iTunes and plugged it into my computer. My recollection is a bit fuzzy, but I believe it told me my phone had an update. I chose the update option, and I received several error messages telling me I needed to do a restore. I chose the restore option, and received an Error 6 message. My phone would not restore. I was stuck with the image of the white USB cord and iTunes on my phone screen. The next morning, I took the computer into work and tried it on my newer computer at the office. This computer has USB 2.0. Im not sure if my older USB at home had to do with the issue, though. I do receive a notification message at home, though, that warns me that the device will operate faster with the USB 2.0.I did a ton of research on the internet, and found MANY with this issue. However, the information that was given to fix this error was limited, and few users have had success fixing this problem. In any event, system restore worked at the office and my phone was set back to my original settings (with 4 years of contacts gone forever). I had not backed my phone up yet, as the error occured before I had a chance to figure out iTunes & the iPhone 3G.Now, Ive had the phone operating without issue for approximately a month. Last night, while my phone was plugged into iTunes, I received a message asking if I wanted to restore the phone. I hit Cancel. I was back with the screen as referenced above with the USB. Im not too sure what happened to cause this. (I was finishing my second glass of wine)So, I did some more research and found this page: http://www.technipages.com/iphone-error-6.htmlI did this, AND IT WORKED! In the forums though, I have found no reference to this fix.Thankfully, this time, I had a backup on iTunes and didnt lose any information.I really wonder if Apple computer users experience this issue, or if this is exclusively Windows users. At this point, I blame Windows.(Im a bit bitter towards Windows at this point. Ive had computer trouble for 2 weeks at work, which ended up in me missing a non-refundable vacation due to several deadlines which I could not focus on.My experience with this iPhone (other than the issue referenced above) has been amazing. Its so simplistic in operation, as opposed to my Samsung Blackjack that required going through multiple folders and useless steps. However, switching to a Mac for my home computer just isnt effective at the moment. I have a computer that was given to me at no cost, has TONS of space, and has had no issues with the exception of my experience with this new phone.)In any event, I hope that if someone else has this issue and plugs the same search terms I did, they will find this information and it will be effective. This has been a very frustrating experience as it is so easy to become dependent on this very functional device.Best of luck to future users with Error 6 after a forced phone restore in iTunes. Ive been having issues with youTube videos downloading slow on my 2G iPhone 2.2 when connected to my wireless G router ( a Netgear WGR614 ). Some nights it appears fine and others like tonight after you select a video and the progress bar appears you see hardly any streaming. My iBook G4 running 10.4.11 connects wirelessly to the same G router. When I go to the same youTube video it streams faster than the playback. The iPhone just wont stream fast tonight.Ive shut the phone down, quit and reentered youTube several times and turned off and on the Wifi connection.Ive noticed a few videos will stream fast enough where the video starts within a few seconds while others will hardly stream or it will start then stop halfway into the 3 or 4 minute video.Thanks. iMac 20" 2.4 Mac OS X (10.5.4) 320g, 4gig ram
The problem started that the IPhone showed that an aplication shoud be updated. While the aplication whas updating the icon showed load/wait for several days. The ITunes store at that time was availeble. After a second request for the update of three more apps, all these apps stayed in the same condition. The day after all the icons on the IPhone installed from the ITunes store looked normal, but in fact they where not working.Afther starting they all returned to the main screen after one second. So all the extra apps installed by me at the IPhone dident work annymore.I tryed tho solve the problem by restoring the IPhone whith the system software 2.2.Afther that the apps cant be replaced. All the apps are avalible in my ITunes program. The ITune program tells me that i have no rights to install them on the IPhone. On Windows XP im loged on as administrator.I am loged on in ITunes, and have an acount. My IPHone is a 3G one.I have installed the ITunes 8.0.2.20 software. What can be the problem? The only way tho install the apps on the IPhone is one by one. Then im still not sertain that the apps will work the next day. That wil take me another severall hours. It is already the second time this is happing. On the internet there is no expenation for this problem. Is there an other solution for this?Is there anyone who can help me whit these problems?Yellow Panda Paradigit Windows XP

Hi there,Ive had a 3G iPhone since launch having upgraded from my first-gen with O2s upgrade offer.Unfortuately, I managed to get the phone wet enough to cause damage. As well as some issues with the phone restarting itself, the home button is very very temperamental. Knowing that liquid damage is not covered by warranty I decided to open up the phone myself to see if I could make the home button work a little better.Turns out I couldnt. So now I have a somewhat scratched, broken iPhone 3G which isnt covered by warranty.Im just not sure what my options are.Im guessing I will have to buy a new one, which Im ok with, I just cant find any info on how to get just a 3G phone to replace my other. Obviously I still have a year or so to run on my contract so I dont want another contract, and I dont need to buy a PAYG version... or do I?When I had problems with my first-gen iPhone (I know, I know, I need to be more careful) the repair wasnt covered but I got a much cheaper replacement, looked like a supply they keep just for replacements as it was in a small box with only the phone in. Possibly a refurb I guess but either way, it was about £100 less than a new iPhone. Does anyone know for sure if they offer this for the 3G? Or even better, could I hand over my broken 3G and purchase a refurbed (or whatever they are) first-gen for the reduced price?Apologies if I confused you! Can anyone help me with this? My sisters iPhone 3G was operating on 2.1 for the longest time and at random times throughout the day she would see a message that said something along the lines of SIM Card Not Found. She would miss incoming phone calls, SMS messages, and emails. So I upgraded her phone to 2.2 in the hopes that the new firmware would solve the problems. It hasnt, she is still getting the same SIM Card Not Found message and she gets a lot of dropped calls. Were both with Rogers Wireless in Canada and we both have the iPhone 3G. My phone has never had this issue but hers does. Any suggestions or should the SIM Card just be replaced? Or is it the iPhone itself that needs to be replaced? Anyone else had issues similar to this? If I switch the audio source on the iPhone from headunit to iPhone or speakerphone, I can hear and speak to the other party. When I switch back to headunit, complete silence.....sigh.....just when I thought they got it right..... Mac OS X (10.5.4)
I have a first gen iPhone (8gb) and was updating it to 2.2 when iTunes gave me an error message. So my iPhone disappeared from the side bar but my iPhone still was trying to update so i left it for a few hours and when I came back the iPhone was still at the same place. It has never been jailbroken. I would like to know if theres a way to fix it myself. I dont live near a genius bar the closest one is about 400 miles away. MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.5.6)
Anyone else have issues when trying to install the 2.2 update? My phone is backing up extremely slow and I just dont have the time to sit here and wait on it. Any help would be appreciated.
I have been eager to purchase a new phone phone for sometime now. My Windows Mobile 2003SE has served me well over the years but it is now starting to have some issues (not surprising given its condition).I have been considering the iPhone but have held off due to:3G and call dropping issueThe crack problemAnd to a lesser extent (not a deal breaker) the inability to sync tasks in Outlook.I am in the Chicago area and have expecations that the 3G service will operate correctly. If not, I cannot justify paying AT&T extra.I understand this may not be the forum in which to ask, but I will anyway Have these issues been resolved with the 2.1 update and have the new models fixed the cracking issue (does anyone with a new phone purchased in the last 2 weeks have cracks?)?Thanks PC Windows Vista
Well Im officially amazed. Ive had an iPhone since my first 2G in Febuary 08. I bought the 3G in August and despite my 3 replacements for various issues (no 3G, broken switch, cant update) I am loving it. But I have a horror story for you... I was leaving basketball practice last Wednesday and I didnt have pockets in my shorts so I instead put it in my jacket pockets, which were large and shallow. I was running out to the car when I hear something hit the ground. Hard. I stop running and look down to see my iPhone 3G skittering across the concrete sidewalk face-down. It slid about 15 ft before stopping and when I picked it up I prayed for the best lol. But Im AMAZED, there is one very small scratch (about 1/4 long) on the screen and one small scrape on the chrome bezel. I couldnt be happier with it. Thanks Apple for this amazingly durable device! So Im wondering if apple will ever release a updating adding the horizontal keyboard to texting?Ive heard of Apple petitions being made to have problems or things users have wanted. Who wants to start one and hopefully get the keyboard for texting?
Hi!When I was updating my iPhone to 2.2 I received an error message (unkown reason 1602) I reinstalled iTunes (which was already the latest version). Everything worked out wel and my iPhone was working again. The only thing that went wrong is that my pictures, apps and music are gone. I tried to restore the latest backup (before updating my iPhone) but that didnt work.Is there a way to recover these files? I mean they should be in the backup, right?Thank you in advance!WMessage was edited by: windowpane Optiplex 755 Windows XP Pro
Ive had my iPhone 3G for about two months now, but in the last week the phone has begun to have issues with charging properly. The phone will not properly show the charge progress on the screen (IE it wont show the meter filling while its plugged in), but if I restart the phone it will show some progress. The phone will also sometimes say the battery is charged (showing the plug in the small icon in the upper right), but the meter wont be full. The phone basically seems to stall when charging, sometimes the charge meter jumps in random spurts and other times it just sticks at one point with no change, sometimes a restart will get it to show some progress and other times it wont do anything.Any help you can offer would be much appreciated! iPhone 3G
