what can i to unfreeze my messages iPhone 4S

I'm assuming I sent way to many messages out at once and now my messages won't work. I tried turning off my phone and turning it back on but it won't work. I'm not sure what else I can do to unfreeze it.

I got my first ever iPhone on 9/21/12. Immediately, when I opened the package, I noticed a scratch in the aluminum side. I read a lot of posts on this forum about scratches, but I decided I would let it go since my scratch wasn't that big. Two days later, I realized that the battery life was terrible and only lasts me about a day and a half before I have to recharge again. I also noticed that whenever I had to type in my password for the App Store to buy an app, the screen would flicker on the second row of keys on the keyboard when I switched to the numbers (9/23). That problem seems to have disappeared for now ever since I updated the software. The voicemail doesn't seem to work unless I turn the cellular data off (I think that's just because I don't know how it works) and I receive voicemails LATE. Lately, this month, I have noticed that my iPhone 5 screen freezes midway whenever I try to swipe to the next pages. It also freezes every half second when I am trying to type anything. The "send" button also doesn't respond to me when I press it. The home screen button is the only thing that I can press to unfreeze everything, but it's getting really frustrating to do that every other second. Since two days ago, whenever I am repeatedly trying to press an app or swipe, random apps start to open up even though my finger is no where near it. Lately, it has also been unresponsive to any touch (like sliding to unlock), but I wonder if it's because my hands are too cold... Just a few minutes ago, my iPhone was acting possessed and started opening up a text conversation and switching to another text BY ITSELF. I wasn't even touching it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I do? Is it too late to bring it to the Apple Store to get a new one? It's been two months since I opened it and I have never dropped it and I kept the original screen protectors on it for a month until my actual screen protectors arrived.

Hi. Exactly 40 minutes ago, I locked my iPhone. I then unlocked it and when I slid the bar over, it froze. It didnt open up the keypad like it usually does, it just stayed frozen on the slider+background. Its completely unresponsive to...1. Touch2. Volume Control3. Home Button4. Power Button5. Computers6. Home dock7. Any attempt to unfreeze itNothing I have seen on the internet helped. This appears to be a unique problem.Im thinking, at this point, that I will have to wait for the battery to drain. I was adding new music to my iphone when it began to update. The update didnt successfully finish. When i unplugged the phone is was frozen with the usb pointing to the itunes sign on the phone. How do i unfreeze it ? HP

iPhone 4 Screen Freezes after using camera

there are some other posts on screen freezes... just want to add one more. ive found that after i use the camera, then review it in the camera app, or go to photos to review, when i go back to the home screen, it freezes. completely unresponsive on touch screen, but home and standby button works fine. so click on those for a bit, and itll unfreeze itself after bout 20 seconds or so. sometimes even more.quite weird. anyone else have this issue? problem in hong kong is we dont have apple stores, so no genius bar to help just to add: im on 4.0.1Message was edited by: gqmac 20" iMac, 2.66 GHz Core2Duo; MacBook 2.4 GHz Core2Duo; iP4! Iphone4 freezes when closing multitasking apps. Unacceptable

Has anyone noticed that when you have a number of apps running, and you continuously tap the x to close out of them, the iPhone freezes even though the icons keep wiggling. It takes the phone about 2 minutes to unfreeze, or I have to restart it. This doesnt only happen if you have a ton of apps running, sometimes it happens randomly when closing out of just one app. It happens on my iPhone 4. Software bug? Anyone else having this issue? macbook pro Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Backup takes forever and freezes iPhone 3G

I heard that the problem is from downloading apps by using my phone instead of using iTunes, and there is a procedure for fixing an error file, or something. Anyone know about this?(Ive already deleted all my photos from my phone and have reset the backup file under devices and neither worked to unfreeze the backup.) Id like to upgrade to the new OS4, but I cant get past the backup. HP

Help iphone frozen 3G

My iphone is completely frozen and I am not quite sure how to unfreeze it. I cant do anything. It is just frozen and wont respond to anything. I tried to turn it off to reboot but it wont let me. O2 Loss of signal when Tethering causing hard reset iPhone

I wonder if anyone else is having a similar problem.I have a 3G iPhone attached to my macbook pro via cable as bluetooth does not work due to the broadcom chip issue.I have had my iphone replaced but I still get the same problem which is.I am sat in an office next to a window and I will have a 3g connection quite happily then all of a sudden it will drop to Edge then basic signal then sometimes it will go to no signal.What I often then find is the phone will either lock up requiring a hard reset or will require tethering switched off and on and into airplane mode and back or perhaps a soft reset.I spoke to O2 as I thought it may be a reception issue, all they say is they can not see any problems and they have been getting a lot of complaints about the 3.1 software. When I asked if that was with the same problem the O2 person declined to answer.Oh and I spoke to another operator at O2 who said she just looked at her phone and her 2g was working fine so suggested I switch off 3g for tethering. So what is the point in buying it in which case.I am in Glasgow at the moment. But I have noted something interesting which could at least point partially to software. It seems I can keep my phone on and plugged into msn messenger via ebuddy all day without a problem, but if I only use adium on my mac it will drop off after an hour or so.So back to O2 signal, well my wife also on O2 says that 50% of time she rings me it goes straight to voice mail, I have been sat next to phone at time she has told me she has rung.So is anyone else having these problems? anywhere in the UK or even generally? unibody Macbook Pro, Mac Pro, iMac glossy Mac OS X (10.6) 2 airport extremes, iphone with tethering, huawei E156G 3 Mobile Broadband

iPhone will not wake from sleep and locks up with new MMS update

Hey everyone, Has anyone had these problems with their new update as well?1) Sometimes my iPhone will not wake from sleep mode, I have to hold down both buttons for it to restart...I do this about 5 times a day! 2) I cannot send SMS messages and when I send more than one sometimes the iPhone locks up and will not unfreeze. Does anyone know if this is an Apple update issue or if it is an AT&T issue? And if this is being addressed? freezing iphone

hope someone can help...i have had my 3g iphone for nearlya year and is great but in the past 2weeks i have had problems with it. It keeps freezing..if i am for example viewing a facebook page it will freeze and will not do anything for ages. Sometimes it will take half hour to unfreeze or i have to wait until the battery runs out. When it freezes i cant turn it off!!!it just doesnt respond. I have also noticed that when using the phone for texting/reading emails/using apps it will take ages for it to open. I have the latest update software ect and has always been ok with it (until now sniff) i love my phone but this is making its usage frustrating and sometimes impossible...please can someone help?Thanks for reading Lou advent Windows XP laptop

Problem with 2.2 Firmware iPhone

Since Ive updated my iPhone 3G to the new 2.2 firmware, my iPhone will freeze occasionally when people are calling me and then after the call is over it will unfreeze and go back to the home screen or sleep (whichever it was at before the call). I want to make it a point to let everyone know that this has NEVER happened before the 2.2 firmware.I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if a restore fixed it. Just the other day my iPhone(original) screen freezes. Nothing will happen when I try the slider. I cant even shut it down. I have tried plugging it in to charge hoping that will unfreeze it but it doesnt. Desperate for help with my iphone

I just bought a new iphone. It is the second iphone on my computer. We bought another one about two weeks ago (my husband and I were sharing it). I just synched it to all of the iphone content that was on the other phone. It worked well for about five minutes and then froze when I was rearranging its icons.I could not unfreeze it, so I restored it.The problem is that I cant synch anything to it now. A message says that the files Im trying to synch take up 7.31 gigs (is it gigs?) of space and that I have only 7.08 free. But, in fact, all of the files equal only about 1 gig. And it will not load even one song, saying that there is not enough room.I suspect that the problem has to do with synching two phones to one computer.
