Audio IssueFeature in Video Playback iPhone 5

I have just picked up on a 'thing' with the video playback on the iPhone 5. It seems that dynamic range compression and/or EQ is applied to the soundtrack of videos. I first noticed it when I was trying to watch a few concert films and noticed that not only was the sound horrendous but during the high volume scenes, it was distorting. I have tested the same movies on an iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and ipad which don't seem to have this problem/feature. Has anyone else noticed it? And even better yet, figured out a way to get rid of it?   Additional thoughts: I have also noticed that when you play music through the loudspeaker, some form of dynamic range compression is also applied to the sound. Personally I think it sounds terrible but I can understand why Apple would have done this. However, it doesn't affect the headphone output signal, thank goodness, SO, I speculate that it could be a bug that when a video is played, the OS isn't recognising that the headphones are no longer a loudspeaker and not bypassing the audio signal, therefore applying the compression to the sound.  Playing the video audio through Bluetooth headphones removes the compression and distortion of the sound track in videos, and that would have been the solution, but now videos no longer play in sync with audio through Bluetooth on the iPhone 5. (Grr.) Last thing, the new EQ 'Late Night' that adds compression and EQs the sound in the Music app and sounds possibly like the effect that is being applied to video audio output.

Facebook App not connecting with other apps. Help iPhone 5

I recently changed my apple I.D. to a different e-mail address because the one I had was hacked. I recently went to the Apple Store because my iCloud wasn't connecting and backing up my other stuff. So, they deleted the account and connected me to the account under my new e-mail. Everything is working fine. All of my stuff is still the same and nothing has changed. However, my Facebook app isn't working when I try to connect it to other apps such as Pinterest, Twitter, and Vine. When I go to my settings, and then to Facebook, it says "There was a problem accessing your account. Please reenter the password:". I have tried to enter my password multiple times and it doesn't work. I have tried my old password too, and still nothing. I changed my Facebook e-mail and password after my e-mail got hacked. I changed my Facebook e-mail when my e-mail got hacked, and I also changed my password. So, does anyone know what to do? I'm getting very frustrated.  Thanks, Jackie

Iphone 4S keeps disconnecting WIFI frequently when in use

    My iphone suddenly began disconnecting frequently from my Access point like every 4 seconds, maybe every minute. it just disconnects randamly,i have had this issue for two days now . I restored my iphone to IOS 6.1.3 and yet the issue is still preserved , so i reset my router and my access point to their default setting and still the WIFI keeps on disconnecting. I even tested my IPhone to connect to my Uncle's wifi access point and still it disconnects from it frequently.My Iphone has never suffered any damage. it has never fallen on the ground and not even scratched.The disconnection here is not that the iphone disconnects from the wifi when i lock the phone but it's worse it disconnects when the phone is in use even if I am downloading something from the app store or streaming a video on youtube and then it will automatically reconnect again which is pretty annoying especially if i am using a VOIP service .i tried everything now and seems nothing helps. Is this a Hardware or a software problem ?, i would be glad to hear from other users that i am not the only one affected by it. I live in Egypt, is there Apple Support in here ?, Any suggestions will Greatly help me .

Hello folks,  I am in a bit of a pickle! Short of you know what (have to keep the censors off me), is there any possibly way to remote view an iDevice screen on a Windows based computer? I am a eLearning/instructional designer and I have been tasked with creating eLearning courses on how to use our iDevice apps. But my dilemma is, how the heck do I capture the screens? Yes, I know about power/home but that isn't nearly practical, especially for capturing motion. I thought I could do it with the remarkable Teamviewer app but after speaking with their development team, it turns out that this has been an outstanding request to Apple. For quite some time, they have been requesting their customers ask Apple via feature request. It seems obvious that their must be a way because I have seen Apple iPhone instructional videos in the past. #I just received my BRAND NEW, SEALED, iPhone4 32 GB FACTORY UNLOCKED which I bought from Ebay. After unboxing, I switched on the phone to find that it was already activated, and did NOT show the "connect to iTunes" screen, which gave me doubts whether this phone is actually brand new, the phone does have that protective film on the front and back which normally comes with brand new iPhones, anyhow I went online and did some intense research and found interesting facts about the serial number, and from my understanding the phones with serial numbers starting with 5K could be a refurbished phone, and indeed my supposedly BRAND NEW iPhone which came in a sealed retail box with all accessories does have a 5K serial number, so I did some more googling and came across a web site which gives details about an iPhone with its serial number and it shows this phone is a refurbished one. I checked on Apple website for warranty and it says "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contactus."  #Now all you good knowledgeable people out there, please please shed some light on this matter.Is this really a genuine brand new phone? When I contacted the seller regarding     the phone being already activated, he said it is normal with phones     which are factory unlocked. But I believe it is actually supposed to     show  - “connect to iTunes” screen. That was how it was with my     iPhone 3G. At least right out of a brand new box. Am I correct? How can a refurbished iPhone come in a     sealed retail box? Even if that was the case, would it cost the same     as a normal brand new FACTORY UNLOCKED iPhone because I paid US $     904.00 for this. Does Apple sell refurbished iPhones as     new? What confuse me is that the box have all the labels intact as     it was a sealed box, and the serial number and IMEI number match     with the actual phone. Should I consider this a genuine     product that Apple meant to sell as it is or better I go for a claim     and either get a refund or replacement from the seller on Ebay?.   Thank you very much in advance for all your kind help and insights. Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iPhone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages?

Take your time to write a thoughtful comment on a video, hit send, and it's gone, "youtube is not available". It happens frequently on the iphone app yet never happens on the desktop site. This bug has followed the youtube app across multiple phones (OG & 3G), multiple OS updates, and still happens randomly. Not having a feature is better than one that frequently doesn't work, and frustrates, as well as wastes your time...I'm so ready to checkout the latest from HTC  I copied this question from an archived thread from 2009. I'm having the same issue. I comment on YouTube a couple of times and it's fine, the third time it completely blocks me. It's very frustrating. Looking at the replies from 4 years ago it seems that its definitely the app that has the issue, not the main website. I just bought my iphone 5 one month ago then i realise my camera was not functioning, It always stuck in black screen when i try open the camera apps. I found out there are actually many people who bought iphone 5 suffered this problem when i try to look for resolution online. I want to go for warranty but my phone got dent on it's appearance. Therefore, apple told me that my phone was unable to warranty. However, my purpose to warranty is to fix the camera instead of the dent on my phone. Can apple fix my camera problem? I really feel sad and regret for purchase the phone now because of the problem i am facing now.  Hopefully apple can give me a satisfied answer. Re Iphone 4s wifi

My iphone 4s no longer allows me to connect to any wifi connections. The option is greyed out and wont let me do anything to it. I have tried restarting and resetting the network connections and all  settings but this has not worked. The wifi came back briefly randomly at one or two points but could not find any wifi networks. I have read on the internet it is probably a hardware problem so I will be taking it back to apple next week. Just wondered if anyone had any further ideas about the problems?

The thing is that i've been trying to use my iPhone 4S as master transmiter of GPS signals and accelerometer data for my ipad mini to use an app called air navigation pro, the deal is that when i try to pair my devices vía bluetooth they just seem not to recognize each other, the only way i can get them to work is by using personal hotspot or share internet option vía bluetooth, but thats the only way.I've heard theres a bug related to that, that our friends in cupertino just ignored when they updated IOS, Anyone can help me?, does Anyone has Any info about this, or maybe a solution.By the way since this may be due to my IOS instaled in my iPhone my devices are:-ipad mini wifi only IOS 6.1.3-iPhone 4s IOS 6.1.3Thanks in advance for Any info proportioned

iPhone battery says 20 but actually 1 iPhone 4S

Hi,I am wondering if anyone else has seen this issue & can provide a fix or offer advice on why this is happening? I have an iphone 4s & very happy with is. However. when the battery % lever reaches 20% the phone 'switches' off - if I connect the charge cable the battery indicator says 1% & charging. Yet if I then hold the power button to swich the iphone on, it says 21% & charging. Any idea why this is happening & how I get the battery to show correct value.On an aside - it charges fine to 100% and iphone is overwise fine. Thanks, T

HELP PLEASE! A purchased a iphone 4 GSM model. I have been trying to restore it (being the screen said to connect to itunes) but when I went through the restore process, itunes recongnized it, it went through what appeared as all but the last second of restoring when I got a " The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. I have been trying to update my iPhone's software for the past few weeks due to my current provider not being found. (A bar that says "Searching" is always at the top where my 3G should be.) Yet whenever I try directly from my iPhone, it always end with an error message. So, yesterday I tried updating directly from itunes and I let it download the new update and all that. However, after it finished trying to update my iPhone, it put my iPhone in a recovery mode and I've been trying to fix it eversince. I can not access my iPhone, all it has is an icon saying to connect to itunes. I've tried troubleshooting, checking my software, updating my computer etc. yet it still leaves me with this message: "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1)." I've looked on the apple site and I've made sure my security is up to date, my computer is up to date, my itunes is up to date and that I have restarted my computer. I am very irritated and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do because my warranty is over with apple and I still have a few years on my contract. iphone 5 Broken screen

So here goes... I have broken the screen on my iphone 5, it is completly shot but  i can plug it in to itunes. The problem is that i have a passcode on the iphone so i am unable to bacup the phone in itunes as i can not enter the passcode.Is there any way i can remotley access the phone and enter the passcode. I have a new iphone 5 and want to sinc it with the data on my old phone, If anyone can suggest a way around this i would be forever in their debt. I have no old bacup or icloud or the like. I also know i could get the old phone repaired but would rather not spend money on this old phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know im clutchinbg at straws.
