i want to load my iphone with induction charger can i do this
My iPhone 5 operates at about the speed of dial-up internet. Every time I try to do something I have to wait. My harddrive is not even close to being full and I always close out of my programs so I am confused. It is mainly a problem with contacts (adding, editing, viewing, anything). I also occasionally hardware reset (power and home button same time) to try and help but to no avail. Is this an Apple issue that a trip to the Apple Store will take care of? I am just sick and tired of having upgraded to an iphone 5 only to step backwards in speed and performance, plus switching over deleted over half of my contacts even though I had icloud set up on my 4 and also on my 5 so it should have been seamless. Is my phone a lemon?
my girlfriends iphone 4 shut off mid-sync while loading photos now it wont turn back on it is almost as if the battery is dead but it had a half battery charge before trying to apply the photos. how can i reset it or even turn the phone on? the phone has no sign of life. it wont register when we plug into the computer.
Hi all, I have a few Audiobooks which I listen to on my IPhone 3GS a lot and I put a couple more and last night I downloaded them and now they have an echo which it didnt before. From what i have read I need to change the playback speed but from all the feedback I have seen online there is no icon on my phone at the bottom right corner I can touch to change it. I have just about tried everything with no luck. PLEASE is there anyone that can help me. I have already lost these books once and have spent a lot of money getting them back. I will very angry if I cant listen to this now. Many thanks and I would appreciate any assitance.
My Iphone kept rebooting and I decided to restore it. So while in the "Restoring Iphone Software" part the bar just stops loading (I waited for an hour but it was still in the same place) I tried it on other computers still stopped in the same place. Any solutions?
I have that router and it's working great with my iPhone 4.The security I use on both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz is "WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]" mainly for compatibility with older devices.You may also want to try and set the 2.4ghz wireless speed to "Up to 130Mbps" instead of "Up to 300Mbps" via the router settings > Wireless Settings on the top left, because I found some devices have connectivity problems or do connect and then run incredibly slowly on the "Up to 300Mbps" for some reason.
Hello, My iPhone 4S was perfectly fine until this afternoon when WIFI just stopped working. It would simply not find any networks.I then placed my phone on airplane mode and then turned it off. The WiFi sign was now dimmed and isnt able to get turned on or off.Bluetooth just keeps on loading and is never giving me the option to turn it on...I don't know if this has anything to do witht he IOS 6.1.3 since I have been reading some discussions and blogs about it. A lot of people seem to be having trouble with this.I wonder if it is really a software issue. On another note, if I want to take my phone for service, is it possible that it is taken in even though I have lost my receipt. Please help....Thanks so much.
I have had this issue for many months. I have tried hard resets. Another issue I've been having is when I get a photo in a text message I will try to open it, all it says is "loading.." And nothing will appear and I try to exit out of it and the phone freezes for a minute or so then just kicks me out of photos.
The wifi does not work. When I go into settings>wifi it just shows the loading symbol. I have restarted it, hard restarted it and reformatted it. It till donst work. I know the phone is the problem because I tried connnecting to two diffrent networks that other people could connect too. The firt day I noticed this, the wifi would sometimes come on and then off, then today it didnt go on at all. Any help??
When trying to do a delete and reset all data and setting All I get it loading circle in middle of screen, and Have to reset hold home and off button , and nothing is Erased, but sets up as new iPhone on 5.1.1
Im using LTE and the speed 2mb/s that slow but when i go to places that not support LTE it appear 3g and the speed 10-16 mb/s im confused some says LTE is the best and better then 3g but when i do test that what happen it appear 3g better LTE or my LTE is not working well ? The button on my iPhone 4 is stuck and does not work so i can not press and hold the home button and the power button to reboot it. I tried to reset my iPhone throught the Settings in General. Once I did that the screen went black with the little loading circle in the middle like if I turned it off and stayed like that for the past 2 hours and it won't stop. it's not frozen because the circle is moving (loading) but it's been over 2 hours and I've tried everything. I'm not sure if it takes that long.

Hi all. I want to unlock my iPhone 4 from Vodafone (I'm out of contract and the phone won't work with SIM cards from other carriers). It's a replacement/refurb as my original phone died. Vodafone say they don't have the IMEI on file to authorise the unlock and need to request it to be transferred from Apple (which takes 5 working days). Is this right? Is there any way Apple can speed up the process for me?
Hi everyone, Today I tried to use my TuneIn radio app. It wouldn't connect so I thought I'd delete and reinstall as I'd been experiencing buffering issues as well in the last few days. I deleted the app and went into the App Store to redownload it. The App Store won't load. It just has the loading message and the little loading symbol. I went on various forums, I've done a hard reset, turned phone off and on again, closed the app down on the open apps dock on the phone, I've reset my network connections etc. Also, I'm on the latest version of the iOS software 6.1.3. The last thing I tried was to sign my Apple ID out of the iTunes and App Stores and attempt to sign in again... Now I can't sign in using my Apple ID. It says that it can't connect to the iTunes store. FFS! Has anyone had this problem before? I frequently have issues where the update screen on the App Store either takes forever to load or doesn't but this is the whole app and everything Apple related not working. Thanks for your replies

Ok so, since yesterday afternoon, while i was on my facebook, it suddenly popped out that there's a problem with the connection blah blah blah, but it was still connected to the wifi, so I just ignored it for a while, until i want to use it but i can't, coz every app that needs wifi was just loading & loading and it took forever but i wasn't updating to the latest post like that.. I opened my tumblr, twitter, instagram, imessage and facebook, but it's stuck on the same last post from yesterday. It really bothers me, I reset the network setting for a couple of times, and nothing happens. If you're gonna ask what carrier i have, It's MTS but i don't have a sim. Yet i can still use it like an ipod. the push notfication shows on my iphone, like when it's locked and someone message me on fb or retweet something on twitter. Then when i do open that notification, and the app will load then it'll stop. I also updated it to the latest iOS (6.1.3) a month ago. What do i need to do??? Need Help.

Hi, My wifi is real slow on my iphone 5 it used to be very fast when I got the iphone i.e. 15Mbps, but after this update it dropped to 3.5mbps with exact same configuration and same router. I have other iphone4 which is still on ios5 , that still gives me 12Mbps wifi speed. What is this happening?

I am running iOS 6.1.3. Recently, and I am not sure if it is related to a recent update or not, but my download speeds have dramatically decreased. I download audio books on a regular basis and they are typically about 120mb in size. These files would typically download in a minute or so. The downloads are now taking 2 -4 hours. I installed speedtest.net to test my speed. My download speeds are ranging between .05 Mbps and .19 Mbps. My upload speeds is consistently over 5 Mbps. I thought that it might be due to my router but I connected my phone to another router with the same results. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Spencer
I was updating the software on my iPhone4 when the cable got pulled out and my iPhone froze on the loading screen. I reset it, and it showed the 'connect to iTunes' screen. I did this, and found that my iPhone is now in recovery mode and I need to reset it. Stupidly, I haven't backed up my iPhone for a long time, and I really don't want to lose all my pictures, notes & messages etc.Is there any way I can get past this? Is the only option to restore it?Any feedback would be amazing!

So the new iphone 5s will supposedly have a faster speed, better camera, better flash etc etc. I have a question. Would you please make it somewhat waterproof, even without a case. I live in the northwest, Oregon, and it rains here 9 months of the year. I can't even make a phone call outside without the fear of my phone dying. I recently took a hike to the mountain, it wasn't raining but it was damp and drizzed a little. I took a bunch of photos, came home and within an hour, the main home button had quit. I took it into Apple and they said it had moisture damage. No coverage. I live in Oregon ! This seems to be a major flaw that needs to be fixed. Anyone else out there like to see this as a main feature of the 5S ?
This morning, I updated to the newest Podcast app (version 1.2.1), as well as the newest iOS version (6.1.3). Now my Podcasts app doesn't have speed control! I read a review online that said it's supposed to look like this: But instead, mine looks like this, without all the features at the top: Am I missing something? Is there a way to customize it to show all those things at the top? Or did the new updates break something? Please help, since the speed option is the single most useful feature of Podcasts! Thanks
Whatever problems the old app had, at least it allowed me to speed up or slow down the playback, as well as let me see how far along I was in listening. This new & improved Podcast app - while thankfully devoid of pointless animation - seems not to have these features any longer. I've downloaded the latest update (that makes 2 including when it lost these functions) & can find nothing in the app or in setting that restores them. I've also restarted the app, as well as the phone itself, with no change. Anyone know what's going on? Did Apple drop these features intentionally? If so, that's a huge problem for me. Thanks
A post on the site http://binarytoad.com in the TECH category works if you're getting slow Wifi. It's not a true fix as that can only come from Apple, but it is a helpful workaround.
I tried to update and restore by itunes and when it gets to the point of verifying with apple I get "The Iphone 'My Iphone' could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (3194) I tried to erase all content on the iphone itself and it just stays on a black screen with the loading spinner forever. I left it on for around 8 hours and it never changed. I tried putting it into dfu mode and restoring by itunes but I got the same error. Not sure what else I can do.. if I tried to update to the current ios by itunes it doesn't work. If I select an ipsw it doesn't work either...

Hello, I recently upgraded from a iPhone 4 that worked flawlessly. Im currently experieincing dropped wifi connections or extremely low download speeds when on wifi at my house. I performed a speed test on my wifes iPhone 4s and omy iPhone 5 after verifying what was on the network. I have consistently been getting 0.20 Mbps down, and she was getting 20Mbps down. The other issue that i ran into is when i charge my phone, sometimes it does not detect that i have plugged it in. THen i have to unplugg it and reconnect it. It is not a major issue, but this could cause issues down the road if the connector is faulty. In order to troubleshoot this, i have wiped the phone and set it up as a new iphone to clear the possiblity of this being the issue. I have gone into the router and releases the DHCP lease on the iphones and then rejoined the network. I have also tried with a new router that has a longer range, but same thing. During the tests, i had 3 bars on wifi as well. Have any of you experienced these issues? Should i go to the apple store to see if they can offer a replacement/help?
During the last 6 day my iPhone 4s ios 6.1.2 has turned off 3 times. This is the third time it has done it I really don't know what is going on with my phone. The first time it shut off was last Wesnday evening I was using it all throughout the day and was wrking fine the I put the phone in my pocket and went to go check if I got notifications and it was completely off. I was unable to to boot it back up. I connected it to iTunes and it said it was in recovery mode and I had to restore it but whe I tried to restore it, it would not restore at all the bar was not loading. So I kept it on the charger overnight and the next morning I turned it on. The following day on Friday it did it again, same thing. but this time when I plugged it to iTunes It was able to recover so I was relieved. And then today I was using it this morning and it was fine after school was over for me I get my iPhone out my pocket and it was off so I tried to hard reboot it and turn it on but it would not boot. So now I am here and I tried to plug it to the computer to restore it but iTunes is not detecting my iPhone being connected to iTunes. Can someone help me I am getting mad and frustrated.

Since I have updated the software in my iphone i m facing this type of problem. When I open apple store in my iphone I go to update option it shows me that it is being loading and suddenly it stops for being load and it does not appear a page infact it does not appear that what all application I have to update, it doesn't shows me at all, it only shows me the number of updates that is not yet installed.Please help me out with resolving my problem as soon as possible giving me the reason that why it is happening with my iphone 4s. So here my iPhone froze or something happened so I procede to turn off and then turn on the device. It loads the Apple showing that it is going to boot back up but then it sits there or freezes there. So I go on YouTube and look for a tut and all I found was just to put in DFU mode. I do that and my computer says that it can't load because there's a password and it follows saying that I need to go and disable the passcode. And I can't do that because it freezes at the Apple loading screen. So is the last thing I have to resort to is that I have to get new iPhone?
Hi, I've got a White iPhone 4 16GB Model and recently I've had trouble with it. First it started to drain the battery really fast so i decided to replace the battery but that didn't do the trick it still drained the battery. 15 days after replacing the battery i noticed the phone dumped its own operating system and reverted back to factory settings (iOS 5+ First time setup screen) i set the phone back up again and just left it. after a few months of not touching it, because i got 2 other iPhone's (4s & 5) that i can use i thought i would restore the whole OS using iTunes and hoping that would solve the problem but i cant get far as to loading iOS onto the phone. after extracting the software the phone restarts and displays the 2001 error. Help please. I have an iPhone 5 that experiences slow streaming over Wi-Fi. I would say it’s started from day one and never got better. I currently own an iPhone 3GS, 4S and iPad2 that don’t experience this problem. When I connect to any Wi-Fi network including Apple’s store network, after 5 mins videos played in YouTube no longer buffer or buffer very slow with jerky playback. When I switch to 3G it loads with no problems and I am not with the fastest telco. My current download speed at home is 20Mbs and I am not loading HD content. I have don’t heaps of research and tried the following:Re-set my router 2.4g and 5gTired a new router 2.4g and 5gVarious security settings on the routerRe-set my phone and restored (took 4 days)Re-set my phone and tested while in out of box stateRe-set network settings on my phoneTest it at the apple store Finally Apple replaced my phone and that too is doing the same thing, plus I think the battery has capacity issues now. Just taken another step back. As anybody got any ideas as to why I am having this issue with streaming? Is there a fix? Regards,Michael

I know the apps store will not give me an old version,that is why i do not use my Mac or iMac to replace the application however this has also been updated on my Macs. There's no way to bring it back. We certainly don't have the power to bring it back; maybe Apple technicians do. Have you asked them about this?- your only hope is to restore your device using an iCloud backup, from before you did the Delete All. That might restore your data to a previous state. There is honestly nothing we can do at this point. There's no bug to fix. The problem is you did a Delete All of your iCloud data, without making a backup first. Hi! My husband's iphone 4s was in roaming configuration for 15 months. He recently got home and he then upgraded his software to IOS 6.1, problems star to pile up! His signal was becoming unstable, he cannot be contacted even there is a signal provided by his carrier. Another is, whenever he makes a call, he can hear the other line but the one he's calling cannot hear him then the line will instantly cut. Battery life also becomes a pest! Even if you don't use the mobile, the battery keeps on deteriorating on a high speed. How can we fix it? thanks!
the lines are semi transparent, but it runs from the top to the bottom. When I restart my phone when it's loading you can really see the lines. It's not really hurting my phone, but it's never happened before so, I know for sure this isn't normal. How do I get rid of them?
Hi guys I'm aware there are hundreds of threads on this issue and various different ways of addressing it. I just wanted the most up to date tips and fixes and to share my symptoms. Ever since I updated to 6.1 my home wifi connection has been horrific and it's really starting to get annoying now when you pay so much for your phone and also internet. I have no problems with 3G and I even connect to wifi networks whilst at work which are a good speed. But as previously stated it can take ages to load pages if at all when I'm connected to what in theory I should think should be my most reliable network, it's extremely frustrating. Like I say if people could give me a check list of things to do or check to remedy the problem it would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Gary
My touchscreen on my iPhone 5 freezes. Sometimes doesn't do it for hours, the next time freezes multiple times in a couple of minutes. I read a lot of stuff trying to prevent it (turning off screen auto-brightness, removing custom wallpapers) although it unfreezes when I press the home button 1 or 2 times or lock, unlock the phone, but this is really annoying and I don't have the time to go to an apple store to get it replaced because there is a big probability for the problem to occur on the next phone and the next. I am looking for a solution to get rid of this thing permamently, I thought iOS 6.1 will do it..but NO - it froze right away on the loading screen after the update. Please if someone has a solution to get rid of this bug help!
Im unable to check updates on my Appstore, whenever I go to the updates I just get a blank screen apparently its not loading any information. Somebody with the same issues.
Hi hope someone can help. I just uprgraded to 6.1 on iPhone 5 through iTunes.It crashed out and it wouldn't recognise phone.Restorted it as advised.A lot of apps are gone.If I reinstall will I get there content back? Thank you for any help. John
