mi iphone 5 camera not working how can i fix it

When I purchase the phone the camera works, but after a few days and having the iOS 6.1.4 installed it stops working!!!When I open it it just stays without open (not in black it just stays close!) I have already reset the iphone and re install everything through itunes but this does not fix the problem. What can I do?Thanks

Mainly my problem is that most of the time now i have to switch toEDGE and then back to 4G to get faster internet. I have an iphone 4S Unlocked, I am using   t-mobile and i have made sure that it is not the service nor the SIM.Ive reset the setting, ive had a restore again to a new iphone, and ive tried to downgrade my carrier version back to carrier 14.0 from t-mobile 14.1.It worked before i restored to IOS 6.1.3 because of memory issuess. I have made my way arround how IOS works and most of the technical stuff to do with it. Overall, How can i fix this or what can i do essentaily to bring back my faster and more reliable internet? p.s DIdnt know where this would go so i posted it here. p.s+ Yes i was jailbroken before i restored. iphone 4 won't charge

Greetings, My i4 developed yet another problem in the series (previous issues concerned home button, power button and camera module)... Two nights ago, I had the phone plugged in the PC, in order to make backup, syncronize with itunes, change music etc etc... It took around an hour, maybe hour and a half, and I was surprised to see that the battery (which was not even close to flat) reached only about 70%. Shortly after I unplugged the phone, the battery dropped to 50%. That night I forgot to plug it in again, and I spent the whole day yesterday saving the battery. Later that day, I got home and plugged it in immediately. 2 hours later, the battery was still on 14%. I left it "charging" for the whole night, just to find out that this morning, it was still on 14%. While checking emails and stuff, the indicator "jumped" to 16%, but then dropped to 10%. Now it shows 3% eventhough it's still connected to the computer. There is a battery indicator on the lock screen, which means that it doesn't refuse the charger, but somehow the battery refuses to be charged. The indicator in the upper right corner shows "plug in" symbol, as if it has been charged, not a "thunder" as if it's still charging. I tried cleaning both the dock connector and the cable, I tried different cables, I tried charging from the wall socket and from various PCs, but nothing seems to work. Everything else seems fine though. Battery dead and needs replacing, or is it something more "fruttier"? Thank you!

My camera frozen iphone 4

Have tried restore on itunes and restore to new on phone.   The issue is not changing even with that.  Happened about a month ago and haven't been able to get it to work since. As soon as I click on camera, whatever the camera is facing is what it is frozen on.   Sometimes the shutter won't even open and the video does not work either.  None of the apps that you can take a picture with work either like Instagram, pict stich etc. Not sure what else to do. seberia8

Camera app doesn t work iphone 3G

I got my first iphone as a gift the other day (32GB iphone 5 from Verizon). However, the camera app on it does not work. When I launch it, either the closed shutter is displayed, or the screen is completely black and none of the "buttons" (i. e. Options and switching between front and rear cameras) work. I have tried completely closing out of the app and doing a restore of my iphone through itunes, but it still does not work. I have a case, but the lens is completely visible. Any help would be appreciated!

Can I trade in my 4s with Apple Care

Lately I've been having probelms with my iphone 4s. I bought it in July of last year. The problems include: my lock button is jambed, the phone thinks that I have headphones in when I don't, and applications such as Camera and Safari constantly crash. The screen also does not always respond when I touch it and it does not ring or vibrate when I recieve calls sometimes (I did check to see if my ringer was on, along with vibrating in Sounds under Settings). I have Apple Care+. Can I trade it in for a refurbished phone? Also, for an extra fee would I be able to trade it in for a refurbished iphone 5?

Last night the screen of my phone 4 slowly went black. I tried charging it while hard resetting it but that did not help. also tried just resetting it but nothing with that either. I tried to chat with itunes but couldn't becasue I cannot get the serial number. I do not have an sd tray nor can I use the screen. It is not printed on the back of the device not is it connecting to itunes so I can get it from there.

#I just received my BRAND NEW, SEALED, iPhone4 32 GB FACTORY UNLOCKED which I bought from Ebay. After unboxing, I switched on the phone to find that it was already activated, and did NOT show the "Connect to itunes" screen, which gave me doubts whether this phone is actually brand new, the phone does have that protective film on the front and back which normally comes with brand new iPhones, anyhow I went online and did some intense research and found interesting facts about the serial number, and from my understanding the phones with serial numbers starting with 5K could be a refurbished phone, and indeed my supposedly BRAND NEW iphone which came in a sealed retail box with all accessories does have a 5K serial number, so I did some more googling and came across a web site which gives details about an iphone with its serial number and it shows this phone is a refurbished one. I checked on Apple website for warranty and it says "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contactus."  #Now all you good knowledgeable people out there, please please shed some light on this matter.Is this really a genuine brand new phone? When I contacted the seller regarding     the phone being already activated, he said it is normal with phones     which are factory unlocked. But I believe it is actually supposed to     show  - “Connect to itunes” screen. That was how it was with my     iphone 3G. At least right out of a brand new box. Am I correct? How can a refurbished iphone come in a     sealed retail box? Even if that was the case, would it cost the same     as a normal brand new FACTORY UNLOCKED iphone because I paid US $     904.00 for this. Does Apple sell refurbished iPhones as     new? What confuse me is that the box have all the labels intact as     it was a sealed box, and the serial number and IMEI number match     with the actual phone. Should I consider this a genuine     product that Apple meant to sell as it is or better I go for a claim     and either get a refund or replacement from the seller on Ebay?.   Thank you very much in advance for all your kind help and insights. iphone 5 won't wake up from sleepstandby

Hello, I am having a really strange problem with my iphone 5 for last 3-4 months. Sometime when i want to use my iphone from standby/sleep mode it dosent do anything! sleep/wake button, home button even silent/sound button dosent work. I know the silent/sound button dosen't work cause normally it vibrate when I turn it on. So the problem is my phone wont wake up from sleep/standby mode. The screen stays black and nothing works. If i press the home button and power button for 10-15 time very quickly, then it takes a screen shot and wakes up!! Sometime it stays in this stage for 5-10min. So here is what i did to solve the problem.1. I restore the phone from phone and ituens.2. I delete all icloud backup and started as a new phone3. I went to apple store and replace the phone with a new one!!4. I jailbreak it at last to see if it solve the problem!5. turn off the icloud to see if it works And sadly nothing of all this solved my problem! Now im not sure any specific app causing the problem but it almost impossible to find it out. So if anyone have any similar problem or any suggestion to solve it, then it will be really helpful.

Hi, I am new to this forum so i apologise in advance for not following any rules thats set. I have a iphone 5, 16 GB for 6 months and for the past month or so i've been having issues with the microphone.     1. During a call if i want to use loudspeaker the mic cuts out so the person on the other end can not hear what i am saying, yet while during a call off loudspeaker          they can hear me fine.     2. Siri can not detect anything i say or any noise what so ever when i try to use siri, but can when using a headset.     3. When trying to use voice to text in messages no speech is detected. When using a headset under all three of these, they work fine, calling someone works fine aslong as i don't use loudspeaker.i have tried to restore the phone to see if this corrects the problems but no luck. The firmware version is 6.1.4, on EE 4G. Any help with this is appriciated. Tyler.

Every time I try to go onto certain apps, a notification shows up saying connect to itunes to use push notifications. No matter how many times I push okay the notification doesn't go away. As soon as I press ok this notification how's up right away. So when I do connect my phone to itunes on my computer I don't know how I would set up my push notifications. Official unlocking of iphone 4 from orange Apple approved

Having Paid about £20 for an official unlocking, I am being told to insert a Non-Orange 3G Sim card into the phone that is to be unlocked (Orange is the network the iphone iscurrently locked to).  Well I don't have a Non-Orange 3G Sim Card do I !! organize apps in itunes iphone 3G

When I sync my iphone 4s or my ipad in itunes with the lates upgrade in itunes I don't see how I can organize my apps, to move them from one screen to the other.  I've looked all over itunes as the device is syncing and I see nothing, use to be on the right side and you could drag from one area to the other.  Anyone know?

Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iphone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages?

Water Damage iphone 4S

On May 18, 2013: Yesterday my cousin and I tipped our canoe while on a river. We had our electronics in a ziploc bag which included my iphone 4S. We managed to save almost everything including the ziploc bag. We were stuck floating down the fast moving rapids for atleast 30 minutes keeping firm grip on everything. Once our fellow canoe group caught up with us we put everything in their canoe and made a pit stop. There we put the electronics out to dry (only a little bit of water got it). I managed to send one quick text out and tried hard to shut off the phone but it kept rebooting. When we got back to my grandma's house I investigated the iphone. It was on and working BUT the flash was stuck on and the power button didn't always work, water behind the lower part of the screen  I tried hard to turn it off but it just kept rebooting. With no rice I just layed it out in the sun for an hour.  About 2 hours later we rushed to the mall and went to the Apple Store. They checked the status of the warranty and it just expired 5 days ago. Ugh.. So they just told us there was little they can do and they will replace it for $200.00. At this point I didn't want to give up. At the Apple Store the iphone was having such a melt down. The Apple employee struggled to keep it on as it kept turning itself off (power button issue). Everything else was functional besides the back camera full of water vapour and LED light. About 3 hours after that I got home I put the phone in rice. I noticed the phone some how got into recovery mode.  Over night and about 24 hours later I took the phone out of the rice plugged into itunes on my iMac. It was just on recovery mode asking me to recover it on itunes. It wouldn't work because it kept going into UNKNOWN ERROR 2001 and UNKNOWN ERROR 2006. I read somewhere a fix can be putting it from recovery mode into DFU mode. But remember the power button isn't still working so it is impossible to go into that mode. I think I got it once but still had the same errors. I am not ready to give up. I know there is no such thing as minor water damage but it really does seem minor because everything was functional just the phone put itself into recovery mode with a messed up power button.  I'm asking what I should do now. I really don't want to spend $200 for another iphone 4S when the next generation iphone will come at what ever time. It seems pointless getting an old phone than a new one. I just want to be able to use this one until then. Thanks for reading my rants. Brady

Facebook Push Notifications not working on iphone 4S 6.1.3 and Macbook Pro OS X 10.8.3

Hi there! There are troubles with Facebook Push notifications on my two iPhones 4 (iOS 6.1.2) and 4S (iOS6.1.3) and on my Macbook Pro 15 (OS X 10.8.3). There are no any push notifications about new messages or "likes" by integrated Facebook App and by Facebook app prom itunes too. I have notifications in notification center about statuss updates and comments, but sounds there are no at all. Everything in settings are switched on:-Settings/Facebook-Settings/Notifications/Facebook-Facebook/Account Settings/Notifications/Mobile Push I have done anything i can. Signed Out from all apps, deleted Facebook App, swithed off and then swithed on notifications, Signed In again and again. What can i do to solve this problem? I realy need notifications about messages on iOS and OS X.

Water damage to screen but phone working iphone 4S

I got a small amount of water in my iphone, at first i thought it was ok but after about half hour the water had spread through my screen, and it started going blotchy and cloudy. The touch screen still works, speakers, charger, camera etc. Only thing is phone wont turn off? I tried the rice for a few hours but didnt do much. Does the apple warrenty cover water damage if not how do i get this repaired?

Crashing and screen flickering problems. iphone 4

I too have had the "flickering/flashing" screen problem...I received my first iphone 4 on release day (6/24); had no display issues until 3 days later, on 6/27. First occurred while on call in car; phone continued to work but display was black; had to do the two-button "hard restart" method to reboot phone. I was away on vacation for a week (not near an Apple Store), and phone continued to have this issue at least once/day. It could be on any screen or app...had it occur on calendar, a game, the home screen, etc. It would begin flashing ~8 times, then go to a "lit up black" (not off but slightly and evenly lit up black). Sometimes it would be 75% black, w/ a whiter "band" across the top 25% of the display.I discovered that sometimes if I quickly hit the button on top while it was still flashing, I could "save it."I have videoed this (using my 3GS phone...now my wife's) a few times, and it also did it at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store last Friday (7/9) when I returned it. They saw it in-person, and watched one of my videos, and promptly gave me a replacement phone.However, the NEXT day, 7/10, my replacement iphone 4 has started to do a similar thing...no "flashing/flickering", just goes to the "lighter black" screen. First occurred when trying to open the calendar. I contacted Tech support and spoke to someone at Apple for ~1 hour, who said there have been NO reported display issues from others, and thought it perhaps was due to a corrupt "restore from backup" file. She suggested that I do a regular restore (not from backup), but I have hesitated to do so yet, instead looking/waiting to see if others have had this issue, as I don't want to lose contact, texting & calendar info.She also said it was not good to perform the "hard restart" (two button) function very much... I eventually have tried the "slide to power off" across the top of the black screen, and phone turned off and could restart with just the single (upper) button. So the phone is ON...just display isn't...I am an AVID iphone user (have had the 2G, 3GS and now 4 model) for 2 1/2 years, and this won't make me "switch"...I just want it FIXED..!

I have an iphone 5 still within the 1 year warranty. It has a small crack on the top right of the phone, which doesn't have any effect on the screen or touch capabilities. However, the phone also has a faulty camera and lock button. What I am wondering is, does the fact that the screen is cracked affect the ability to get a warranty replacement for the other two problems? Thanks!

I'm restoring my iphone 4S on itunes 11.0 and it's stuck on restoring firmware

My phone won't send picture messages to any phone other than an iphone and when I googled it, the solution was to restore it.So I did. Downloading the software itself took nearly 3 hours, but whatever. My phone restarted, but now the bar is stuck at ~3/4 done and it's on "restoring firmware". It's been this way for over 20min. I use itunes 11.0 and Windows 7.Can anyone help me out? Would it be bad to reboot my computer at this stage?
