battery draining on iPhone 5

I just got the iPhone 5 last month. I did an OS upgrade not too long ago. My phone seems to be draining very quickly. Twice I thought it was because some how, a number was called and I thought the line may have stayed open a good long time. Now I don't know. I mostly text, do no web surfing, ocassionally check my email. The past week I keep getting battery low message. Any thoughts/suggestions?

WiFi iPhone 4

Ok so here's the deal.  At work I barely get one bar on our wireless network, but at home I of course have full signal.  At work I turn off the wifi because at that weak of a signal, it takes forever to send email or a picture on my phone. So I switch to the cellular network, and bam it goes fast.   But then when I get home I want it on the WiFi and keep forgetting to turn it on.  So my question is (without Jailbreaking) hasn't someone come up with an app that will set timers for wifi to turn on and off?  That seems like one that should have been out in the first year of Apps? 

What can I with my broken Iphone mic

I purchased my Iphone 4 while living in Hong Kong. I am now back in the UK and the phone has deveoped a problem where the mic cuts out during calls and the person I'm on the phone to can't hear me. I took the phone to the apple shop here and the girl told me that she would have given me a replacement but she can't because the phone is slightly different than the UK (european) model of the Iphone 4. She then told me to call apple care and explain to them over the phone.  I called apple care and an american woman said she can't give me support unless I pay £25 but will email me instructions on reseting the phone, I told her reseting won't make a difference as the mic problem is a common one with Iphone 4's and I've read it's a hardware problem. So anyways I reset my phone and nothing changed. I'm stuck in limbo right now and dunno what to do, does anyone have any suggestions? I think I'll get a galaxy when my contract is up this year.

iphone 5 suddenly no sound

I recently had a software update (6.1.4) on my Iphone 5.  I ran the update last week and everything seemed fine.  However, as of yesterday my phone no longer made sound, it just stopped making sounds to everything.  It makes no sound when it rings, when I receive a text/email or when I try to listen to music.  The sound is completely dead.  The little switch on the left of the phone is turned on for volume.  I did a reset and nothing seems to help.  Has anyone encountered this problem?  Does anyone have a solution?

i have been using the same back up file for my phone's for the past four years and my iphone 5 started was all glitchy and i had over 10gb of other used up on phone so i restored it. before i restored it though i saved all of my pictures to a folder on my mac using image capture. now im wonder how to import the photos back into my camera roll, not another folder on my phone. so far i have tried using ieplorer and a couple of other programs like that but no luck. i have about 1,500 photos so i cant email all of them to myself and then save them all. all i want is all my photos back into my camera roll :/

Hello everyone! I've got a problem with my iPhone 4S and I hope someone here can give me a hint on how to fix this... Last year in March I was on vacation in Las Vegas (I live in Austria/Europe) and bought a new unlocked iPhone 4S GSM in the Apple Store in the Forum Shops in Las Vegas including AppleCare+ (I just learned that iPhones can only be serviced in the Country where they are bought - my bad). Lately I was browsing through my Apple support profile and noticed that my iPhone was not registered there. So I tried to enter the serial number of the device and got this message:We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us. I knew this could not be true so I called Apple Care here in Austria and first I was told that - according to its serial number - my iPhone has been replaced, and that it never should have been sold. I also was told that I have no chance of getting any service for this device despite the Care Protection Plan because the device is invalid due to its status as "replaced". And last but not least I was told that I could never receive any service for this device because American devices cannot be repaired in Europe (I was not aware of this fact and would have expected the salesperson in the Apple Store to tell me because I definitely told him that I am from Austria). Meanwhile I wrote an email to the store where I bought the iPhone from but it's two days now and I have not received an answer (or any indication that my email was received) yet. Is there anything I can do? Yours,Michael

Help With Mail iPhone 3G

Bought Mail+ from the store. It won't connect even though I have given it correct the Comcast email adddress, password and incoming domain at least 6 times. It tries to connect for 4-5 minutes and then times out and makes me reenter everything. Two requests for help from their customer service have not been answered in last 48 hours and I'm about to dump the app and move on but I paid for it so hate to give up. Any suggestions?

How I get my outgoing server to work on my Iphone 5

I bought my Iphone 5 from Apple when it was first available. I have had an ATT acount for many years along with an MSN email account. I have had issues with sending email from my IPhone 5 since I have recieved this phone. I have deleted and readded the email application numberous times(sometimes 10 times a day), I have reset my phone a number of times, I have also changed my email password a number of times and readded to both my incoming server and outgoing server passwords. I have spoken to ATT tech support, Apple Tech support and Msn tech support multiple times, they have not been able to help me. I sometimes have  gotten it to work for a few minutes to a couple of hours but as soon as I try to send an email from my phone again it will no longer send an email from my phone. I use my phone for work and this is very annoying as I have to use my email for work.I need help!  I have had Iphones since the first Iphone and Mac computers for over 10 years but I am now over it, at this point I would not recommend Iphones. I am now at the point of buying a phone that I can use and it will not be an Apple Iphone.

IOS 6.1.4-Apple Native email Client-Push Notification not working iPhone 5

Hi, I just upgraded to IOS 6.1.4 this morning no issues Upgrade went well. Now My email Push Notfication is not working.  1. Bussiness Gmail Account - Configured as Exchange2. Hotmail Account - Configured as Exchange Both Account - Push is ON if some one send email i am not getting it. I have to manually open the Native email client then i can see.  Restarted the IPhone Twice.  Any one facing similar issue?

So my friend sent me 3 images they had taken on their phone, 2 came as jpgs but one came as a .png image.  I was skeptical as they were different formats. Is this even possible and if not how could an image be a .png ?   read somewhere this could be a screenshot/grab but when i tried that myself to emailed to self through gmail app it still appreared as a jpg the email also came from someone using gmail  Thanks in advance

I had never faced any need for warranty repairs or any such thing previously.  My luck with the Iphone 5 was not the same. Just 5 Months and my Sleep/Wake button just refuses to work. But the Horror was when i reached the Zain Telecom store in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I was told by them that Apple has refused to take Any Iphone exibiting Scuffing or Scratches as this renders the iphone out of warranty. It just Dosnt make any Sense when Senior Apple SVP for Marketting Phill Schiller Him self on 25 Septeber 2012 in an email to an apple user have acknowledged that this kind of scuffing is natural to any aluminium product. I would like some one from Apple to Respond to this issue of mine and give me a solution. The worst part is there no authorised service in the country. to cut a long story short. I was interested in an i-phone... got the details..checked them all.. on the phone and with the provider, VODAPHONE... told unlocked, not stolen etc etc. proceeded to buy the phone...new sim topped up £10 only to find it wouldn't work...  Went into vodaphone store..been running around following thier advice..(they said I need a friend who is a customer on vodaphone to get passed the unlocking with a vodaphone code.. and they would do it for free given the circumstances...so i run errands go back and forth doing as they asked...got nowhere) SO IT IS NOW A MONTH LATER..and after complaining and complaining to thier email site and repeatedly asking for help in store..I am stumped as what to do and just have a glorified ipod. I WILL NOT BE FORCED TO REMAIN ON THE VODAPHONE NETWORK given the situation they have put me in and thier unwillingness to help so i refuse to use the phone with vodaphone... BUT WHAT can i do PLEASEEEEEEE? all they keep on suggesting is that I get the original owners details but he is not answering anything...and the phone is not registered as stolen etc so what is the problem!? As you can imagine I am really peeved by the whole thing as I actually carried out all the necessary checks, and whilst the phone was not bought directly from vodaphone, I went to them as the provider, to find otu about unlocking etc as it is always advised to do so..and it was them that gave me the wrong information but they still will not resolve the issue. I have even sent them phone records to confirm when I rung and the name of the invalid who told me the phone was unlocked in the first place. I really would much appreciate any help as they are ignoring  my emails now.

Cannot Install Apps Due to iCloud Restoring iPhone 3G

Hello everyone!I recently bought an iPhone 5 and used iCloud to restore apps to it.      I just bought a new iphone 5 and it tells me in order to buy apps i must verify my account,HOWEVER,I made my account years ago and have no records of my security questions. The apple ID associated with my iphone is showing up as my son's ID for his iPod Touch 5th gen.  When I look into the settings everything is set to my email address, but when I attempt to update it shows his email address and says I have the wrong password.  I did not have this issue until I updated the iOS system.  Can anyone help?

Iphone 5 issues

I switched from an Iphone 4S to a 5 yesterday.  My contacts did not all switch.  The volume keeps resetting to the lowest amount.  When I set the volume to high, it does not set Siri's to high.  I can barely hear Siri.  I used ITUNES for a backup on my 4S.  Most of my apps wouldn't transfer, it said not enough room.  All my songs are greyed out and not playable.  I am using the same ITUNES account.  This is a NIGHTMARE.  All my email settings will not stay.  The programs keep asking for the passwords, even though they have been entered multiple times.  I read the email, then the next time I open the email account it prompts for a password.   I HATE THIS PHONE.

I have been to my profile and is already updated with new user's ID and password, only on my iphone I can't update apps,shop or update anything because my old user ID and my old email adress keep popping up. This is frustrating, HELP!!! iphone 4S updated with las OS software 16GB.
