I have an iphone 3g and my wifi wasn't working at all! The wifi button wasn't working like I couldn't press it at all, so my brother told me to erase my iphone. I backed it up and erased my iphone, it didn't work so he told me to jailbreak it because he thought maybe since my iphone was originally jailbroken it might just need it to be jailbroken again. I did that and when I looked at it again ALL apps were gone! There were no settings, safari, or app store nothing, it was just a blank page! (A blank page with, oddly enough, my same wallpaper still) When I tried to search up things on the iphone it was found, but it said it was not loaded at all. Help anyone??

iphone 5 suddenly no sound

I recently had a software update (6.1.4) on my iphone 5.  I ran the update last week and everything seemed fine.  However, as of yesterday my phone no longer made sound, it just stopped making sounds to everything.  It makes no sound when it rings, when I receive a text/email or when I try to listen to music.  The sound is completely dead.  The little switch on the left of the phone is turned on for volume.  I did a reset and nothing seems to help.  Has anyone encountered this problem?  Does anyone have a solution?

Using iphone 3GS to change Apple ID:  go to SETTINGS; then to  Itunes & App Stores, tap your old Apple ID and sign out.  When you sign out it will let you enter a new email, (Apple ID) and (I hand already changed my ID on the Apple Store but not my password) .  So I was able to use the same password.  It already had my credit card info but made me verify the security code.  Easy, just needed to know WHERE to go.

Battery Life Degraded After Restoring from jailbreak iphone 4

I recently did a jailbreak on my phone and decided I didn't like it. I restored the phone to Apple factory settings and everything is fine except the battery. It will not hold a charge more than a few hours -- and that's on STANDBY, not actually using the phone or making calls! Is there anything else I need to do to erase all traces of the jailbreak? Or is there anything I can do to improve my battery life? I've already done the following: 1) lowered the screen brightness2) close programs when not in use3) changed auto-lock time to 1 minute (the shortest possible)

i have been using the same back up file for my phone's for the past four years and my iphone 5 started was all glitchy and i had over 10gb of other used up on phone so i restored it. before i restored it though i saved all of my pictures to a folder on my mac using image capture. now im wonder how to import the photos back into my camera roll, not another folder on my phone. so far i have tried using ieplorer and a couple of other programs like that but no luck. i have about 1,500 photos so i cant email all of them to myself and then save them all. all i want is all my photos back into my camera roll :/

Hi This week my iphone 5 have been presenting an issue that i have never seen in the past and is just driving me crazy, the keyboard is just working bad, everytime I type something it just write another letter or the same letter more that once, becoming very hard to tYpe somethung.. at the same time the screen moves a little bit when i write something.. and in general the phone have a bad funcionality.. its very weird, is the second timI in two days it happens... Hello everyone! I've got a problem with my iphone 4S and I hope someone here can give me a hint on how to fix this... Last year in March I was on vacation in Las Vegas (I live in Austria/Europe) and bought a new unlocked iphone 4S GSM in the Apple Store in the Forum Shops in Las Vegas including AppleCare+ (I just learned that iPhones can only be serviced in the Country where they are bought - my bad). Lately I was browsing through my Apple support profile and noticed that my iphone was not registered there. So I tried to enter the serial number of the device and got this message:We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us. I knew this could not be true so I called Apple Care here in Austria and first I was told that - according to its serial number - my iphone has been replaced, and that it never should have been sold. I also was told that I have no chance of getting any service for this device despite the Care Protection Plan because the device is invalid due to its status as "replaced". And last but not least I was told that I could never receive any service for this device because American devices cannot be repaired in Europe (I was not aware of this fact and would have expected the salesperson in the Apple Store to tell me because I definitely told him that I am from Austria). Meanwhile I wrote an email to the store where I bought the iphone from but it's two days now and I have not received an answer (or any indication that my email was received) yet. Is there anything I can do? Yours,Michael

Help With Mail iphone 3G

Bought Mail+ from the store. It won't connect even though I have given it correct the Comcast email adddress, password and incoming domain at least 6 times. It tries to connect for 4-5 minutes and then times out and makes me reenter everything. Two requests for help from their customer service have not been answered in last 48 hours and I'm about to dump the app and move on but I paid for it so hate to give up. Any suggestions?

How I get my outgoing server to work on my iphone 5

I bought my iphone 5 from Apple when it was first available. I have had an ATT acount for many years along with an MSN email account. I have had issues with sending email from my iphone 5 since I have recieved this phone. I have deleted and readded the email application numberous times(sometimes 10 times a day), I have reset my phone a number of times, I have also changed my email password a number of times and readded to both my incoming server and outgoing server passwords. I have spoken to ATT tech support, Apple Tech support and Msn tech support multiple times, they have not been able to help me. I sometimes have  gotten it to work for a few minutes to a couple of hours but as soon as I try to send an email from my phone again it will no longer send an email from my phone. I use my phone for work and this is very annoying as I have to use my email for work.I need help!  I have had Iphones since the first iphone and Mac computers for over 10 years but I am now over it, at this point I would not recommend Iphones. I am now at the point of buying a phone that I can use and it will not be an Apple iphone.

Wifi option greyed out iphone 4S

My wifi option has been grayed out for several weeks now, Apple has even replaced my phone. I've tried all the tricks from resetting network settings, heating method, and apparently there is a freezing method as well. Apple is wanting to replace it, but it will happen again. I hate how Apple ignores issues like this, since I've seen reports about it as early as April, but I'm sure has happened before then. I'm still under warranty, and lately I've been trying to downgrade to the iOS 6.1.2 since I didn't have the issue at that point, but that's not allowed by Apple and I can't do it through jailbreak since I didn't save SHSH blobs from that previous software. At this point, I'm at a loss, I don't see how they don't realize that it's a big issue for people. What I wish would happen is just for them to re-release 6.1.2 and just label it as 6.1.4 or something as a temporary fix. Hopefully another discussion about this issue will prompt Apple into working faster on a fix, or at least acknowledge it and let people that have been affected know that a fix is coming very soon.

Hi, I just upgraded to IOS 6.1.4 this morning no issues Upgrade went well. Now My email Push Notfication is not working.  1. Bussiness Gmail Account - Configured as Exchange2. Hotmail Account - Configured as Exchange Both Account - Push is ON if some one send email i am not getting it. I have to manually open the Native email client then i can see.  Restarted the iphone Twice.  Any one facing similar issue?

So my friend sent me 3 images they had taken on their phone, 2 came as jpgs but one came as a .png image.  I was skeptical as they were different formats. Is this even possible and if not how could an image be a .png ?   read somewhere this could be a screenshot/grab but when i tried that myself to emailed to self through gmail app it still appreared as a jpg the email also came from someone using gmail  Thanks in advance

I had never faced any need for warranty repairs or any such thing previously.  My luck with the iphone 5 was not the same. Just 5 Months and my Sleep/Wake button just refuses to work. But the Horror was when i reached the Zain Telecom store in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I was told by them that Apple has refused to take Any iphone exibiting Scuffing or Scratches as this renders the iphone out of warranty. It just Dosnt make any Sense when Senior Apple SVP for Marketting Phill Schiller Him self on 25 Septeber 2012 in an email to an apple user have acknowledged that this kind of scuffing is natural to any aluminium product. I would like some one from Apple to Respond to this issue of mine and give me a solution. The worst part is there no authorised service in the country. No se si este problema venga relacionado con lo del control del volumen. La verdad si sabe alguien como solucionar estos dos inconvenientes se lo agradecere mucho.   Problem with Volume:What happens is that sometimes I have is that when playing music / videos suddenly going to the iphone and the audio volume control disappears, and it takes to bring up again, do not know what's going on or why do that, if someone happens something similar and could arrange, please can tell me what are the steps to follow to remove this annoyance.  Problem with the Player / Music:The song is already finished and not changed the cover art and the other begins to ring, or the song is playing and the bar of the song (not the volume) does not advance stays at 0:00 and the song is playing and even just the song begins and the other that originally put this on the main screen. Do not know if this problem comes associated with volume control.  Actually if anyone knows how to solve these two drawbacks agradecere it much.

My i-phone 4s has WIFI greyed out since installing iOS 6 i called APPLE australia and they told me i was 83 days out of warranty and i have to pay 250. this was on 24th of april man on phone then told me i might have to jailbreak

the man on the phone told me to jailbreak my iphone so i could get iOS 5 back.. but by jailbreaking a phone you lose the warranty anyway... considering this is apple's fault (iOS 6 has ruined my 4s capability to connect to wifi) ( and my girlfriend has as 4s on iOS 5 and that still connects fine ) i think they should be doing more i am a long time apple customer but i think this has made me want to swap back to being a windows user and maybe getting the samsung or HTC

Pls have this to pay attention for. If this is a hardware problem, what must be done to repair it? If that's a bug, when shall A.guys have a fix for that.BTW, may that be a problem actually linked to Bluetooth connectivity in the first turn? Bluetooth connectivity option is constantly "trying to determine it's state" (BT option setting shows "busy" running circle instead of on/off state), and after it finally gets to off state there appears to happen some change to wifi option behavior. Once it had even started back for an hour, but fell back to disabled soon afterwards.At least both these problems appeared together at the same time.All possible resets, firmware restores and 6.0.1 did not fix that. Shall I need to jailbreak the OS to fix it? And btw, the whole situation already ran a lot of people into high spendings for their 2g/3G overwhelming cellular data traffic. Apple to apologize for that at least? Or shall there be iphone 6 and the problem would remain unfixed and unnoticed?

wrongly told by provider phone was unlocked bought it now how I unlock it as vodaphone wont help but phone not registered as stolen or anythingplease help had it for month now and they just wont help me iphone 4S

to cut a long story short. I was interested in an i-phone... got the details..checked them all.. on the phone and with the provider, VODAPHONE... told unlocked, not stolen etc etc. proceeded to buy the phone...new sim topped up £10 only to find it wouldn't work...  Went into vodaphone store..been running around following thier advice..(they said I need a friend who is a customer on vodaphone to get passed the unlocking with a vodaphone code.. and they would do it for free given the circumstances...so i run errands go back and forth doing as they asked...got nowhere) SO IT IS NOW A MONTH LATER..and after complaining and complaining to thier email site and repeatedly asking for help in store..I am stumped as what to do and just have a glorified ipod. I WILL NOT BE FORCED TO REMAIN ON THE VODAPHONE NETWORK given the situation they have put me in and thier unwillingness to help so i refuse to use the phone with vodaphone... BUT WHAT can i do PLEASEEEEEEE? all they keep on suggesting is that I get the original owners details but he is not answering anything...and the phone is not registered as stolen etc so what is the problem!? As you can imagine I am really peeved by the whole thing as I actually carried out all the necessary checks, and whilst the phone was not bought directly from vodaphone, I went to them as the provider, to find otu about unlocking etc as it is always advised to do so..and it was them that gave me the wrong information but they still will not resolve the issue. I have even sent them phone records to confirm when I rung and the name of the invalid who told me the phone was unlocked in the first place. I really would much appreciate any help as they are ignoring  my emails now.

If you got the confirmation message from the carrier that the unlock has been completed, follow the instructions in that email and restore the device.There is nothing to wait on Apple for. Let me be blunt, the carriers are full of manure and will use any excuse to blame others and try to avoid unlocking  your device. If you have not received confirmation from the carrier that the device has been unlocked, call them and find out what their timeframe is one completing the process.

Hello everyone!I recently bought an iphone 5 and used iCloud to restore apps to it. The apps are all almost installed, except they won't due to the fact I'm not signed into iCloud. Obviously, I would sign into iCloud, but I have since changed my email and it won't let me edit it on my phone because a restore is in progress.Sorry for the confusing answer, but really I'm looking for a way to stop a restoration, or change my iCloud email on my phone while an update is in progress. Thanks in advanced!

SPYWARE ON MY iphone 4S

Why are notes made on my iphone automatically e-mailed to me? I got 40+ e-mails, stunning. How can I sync / copy-paste my notes from my iphone to my Mac in .pages format?Or is it better to sync from notes (iphone) to notes (MacBookPro) first, and copy paste to Pages?
