my iphone 4 went dead and now has the apple logo is slow blinking on and off when it's plugged into my computer. I cannot stop it. Tried a hard restart but nothing happened.

While doing update and restoring for IOS 6 on iphone 4 an error appear it says-Unknown error-1 . I need help

My camera frozen iphone 4

Have tried restore on iTunes and restore to new on phone.   The issue is not changing even with that.  Happened about a month ago and haven't been able to get it to work since. As soon as I click on camera, whatever the camera is facing is what it is frozen on.   Sometimes the shutter won't even open and the video does not work either.  None of the apps that you can take a picture with work either like Instagram, pict stich etc. Not sure what else to do. seberia8

With my iphone, it seems to be that whenever i plug it in it asks for a Itunes, which i have got, and it gets put into Restoration Mode, so i click restore and it extracts the software but it doesn't install it onto the iphone but calls it Error 9, is there anyway of getting rid of it, ive tried it with other laptops and USB cords but it doesn't seem to work:/Please help:P -Ben

Camera app doesn t work iphone 3G

I got my first iphone as a gift the other day (32GB iphone 5 from Verizon). However, the camera app on it does not work. When I launch it, either the closed shutter is displayed, or the screen is completely black and none of the "buttons" (i. e. Options and switching between front and rear cameras) work. I have tried completely closing out of the app and doing a restore of my iphone through iTunes, but it still does not work. I have a case, but the lens is completely visible. Any help would be appreciated!

iphone 5 won't wake up from sleepstandby

Hello, I am having a really strange problem with my iphone 5 for last 3-4 months. Sometime when i want to use my iphone from standby/sleep mode it dosent do anything! sleep/wake button, home button even silent/sound button dosent work. I know the silent/sound button dosen't work cause normally it vibrate when I turn it on. So the problem is my phone wont wake up from sleep/standby mode. The screen stays black and nothing works. If i press the home button and power button for 10-15 time very quickly, then it takes a screen shot and wakes up!! Sometime it stays in this stage for 5-10min. So here is what i did to solve the problem.1. I restore the phone from phone and ituens.2. I delete all icloud backup and started as a new phone3. I went to apple store and replace the phone with a new one!!4. I jailbreak it at last to see if it solve the problem!5. turn off the icloud to see if it works And sadly nothing of all this solved my problem! Now im not sure any specific app causing the problem but it almost impossible to find it out. So if anyone have any similar problem or any suggestion to solve it, then it will be really helpful.

Hi, I am new to this forum so i apologise in advance for not following any rules thats set. I have a iphone 5, 16 GB for 6 months and for the past month or so i've been having issues with the microphone.     1. During a call if i want to use loudspeaker the mic cuts out so the person on the other end can not hear what i am saying, yet while during a call off loudspeaker          they can hear me fine.     2. Siri can not detect anything i say or any noise what so ever when i try to use siri, but can when using a headset.     3. When trying to use voice to text in messages no speech is detected. When using a headset under all three of these, they work fine, calling someone works fine aslong as i don't use loudspeaker.i have tried to restore the phone to see if this corrects the problems but no luck. The firmware version is 6.1.4, on EE 4G. Any help with this is appriciated. Tyler.

Every time I try to go onto certain apps, a notification shows up saying connect to iTunes to use push notifications. No matter how many times I push okay the notification doesn't go away. Having Paid about £20 for an official unlocking, I am being told to insert a Non-Orange 3G Sim card into the phone that is to be unlocked (Orange is the network the iphone iscurrently locked to).  Well I don't have a Non-Orange 3G Sim Card do I !! Backup Issues Deleting Other Files iphone 4S

I recently replaced my iphone screen and afterwards I discovered that my camera roll had crashed. With it, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Luckily, I recovered them from a program that I had downloaded. However, the storage that used to take up my photos and videos on my phone had transfered to the "other" section on itunes. Is the only way to remove/decrease the storage of the "other" file by restoring your iphone? I don't want to restore my iphone because I am also having issues with backing up my phone. Whenever I try to back it up on itunes, it says "the backup was corrupt or not compatable with the iphone". My phone has never been backed up because of this issue, so if I were to restore my phone then all off my files would be deleted. I have tried reseting my phone, but the "other" section is unchanged. Is there anyway I can delete the corrupt files on my phone? I have tried removing all pictures, videos, apps, and music in an attempt to discover the source of the corrupt files but I haven't found them. Also, if I was to "restore backup" with my iphone from my ipad, would that mean losing my messages?

SO here's what happened,  I was texting a friend and listening to music on my iphone... Then all of a sudden I get this pop up notification that says "This adaptor is not supported" I didnt have my phone plugged in and then all of a sudden it turned off and will not start back up. I tried the following:Charge my phone for an hourPressed the sleep/power+home button for 20 secondsPressed the home button and plugged it in my computer while doing so Now with that said, I need to know the following:Is there hope for my Phone?And if I have to replace it, can I go to my cell phone provider-ATT and have them replace it ( I have insurance on it) because the closest Apple store to me is 3 hours away.  All the advice the better!

Crashing and screen flickering problems. iphone 4

I too have had the "flickering/flashing" screen problem...I received my first iphone 4 on release day (6/24); had no display issues until 3 days later, on 6/27. First occurred while on call in car; phone continued to work but display was black; had to do the two-button "hard restart" method to reboot phone. I was away on vacation for a week (not near an Apple Store), and phone continued to have this issue at least once/day. It could be on any screen or app...had it occur on calendar, a game, the home screen, etc. It would begin flashing ~8 times, then go to a "lit up black" (not off but slightly and evenly lit up black). Sometimes it would be 75% black, w/ a whiter "band" across the top 25% of the display.I discovered that sometimes if I quickly hit the button on top while it was still flashing, I could "save it."I have videoed this (using my 3GS phone...now my wife's) a few times, and it also did it at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store last Friday (7/9) when I returned it. They saw it in-person, and watched one of my videos, and promptly gave me a replacement phone.However, the NEXT day, 7/10, my replacement iphone 4 has started to do a similar thing...no "flashing/flickering", just goes to the "lighter black" screen. First occurred when trying to open the calendar. I contacted Tech support and spoke to someone at Apple for ~1 hour, who said there have been NO reported display issues from others, and thought it perhaps was due to a corrupt "restore from backup" file. She suggested that I do a regular restore (not from backup), but I have hesitated to do so yet, instead looking/waiting to see if others have had this issue, as I don't want to lose contact, texting & calendar info.She also said it was not good to perform the "hard restart" (two button) function very much... I eventually have tried the "slide to power off" across the top of the black screen, and phone turned off and could restart with just the single (upper) button. So the phone is ON...just display isn't...I am an AVID iphone user (have had the 2G, 3GS and now 4 model) for 2 1/2 years, and this won't make me "switch"...I just want it FIXED..!

My iphone is turning itself off every minute.  I've tried a reset while hooked to a computer and it doesnt even give it enough time to complete the reset before it shuts down again.  Keep getting error messages or looses the connection. Hard reboot doesnt work either.  Please help

I'm planning on buying the iphone 5 because I have an upgrade available. I have never owned an iphone before, but I do have an 2gn ipod which has 8 gbs and has 2 apps and have used 5.5 of my 6.84 gbs available with songs(1175 songs). I have also have 30 photos, and have 1.5 gbs left to fill. If I do get the iphone 5 I will not put music on it, because I have my ipod. I would like to have a lot of apps though, because I like to test them out, and give reviews on them. I have a fair amount of photos in my current phone(around 400), but the camera quality is not that good, and I think because the iphone 5 have a lot more gbs than my current one that I will want to take more than I usually do(although I would probably upload them onto my computer and delete the originals off my phone). I don't have that many contacts and I have a tablet where I play my games and movies on, so that is not an issue. I know this is a bit long but I really want to make the right choice because I plan on having this phone until my next upgrade which is in 2 years. I want to know if 16gbs should be enough or if should I go with the 32gbs? OR if I should just wait for the newer version to come out, and if this is worth to buy. I would also would like to know what the perks and downsides are too. Thank you for your patience and time.

HiI have an iphone 5 and last night it just turned off while I was asleep so I charged and it turned and it worked but then turns off suddenly so i plugged it again for houers and it just got stuck on the silver apple so I pressed the button on the top right and the home button and it worked againbut while I was in a call it turned off and now it doesnt turn on so I tried to restore it and my itunes says there's a 2001 error and i already checked and my itunes and mac updetes are the latest ones what else can I do? iphone 4s Wifi problem, After using the device of 7 month. wifi is not working. BEFORE WAS WORKING FINE and now wifi is not able to identify. I have just started to update the latest iOS 6.1.3 and my wifi disconnected and all of my contacts have been deleted. My phone has not updated to ios 6.1.3 as wifi stopped working. I have never backed up on iTunes on a computer, I always download everything directly from wifi onto my iphone. Can I get my contacts back? If I can, how? Please help!!

iphone 4s stuck in recovery mode. Error code-1 .

I recently bought my iphone 4s from a guy (who bought it from someone else). He sold it to me pretty cheap because when he bought it, one of his friends tried to restore it for him and it got stuck in recovery mode. I have no idea if the phone has ever been "tampered with" or not. He didn't seem to know much about it (said it was his first smartphone) and I thought I might have a chance of fixing it. I'm starting to lose faith in that...I've tried almost everything I can find. I know there are tricks for this all over the internet and I've tried almost all of them. TinyUmbrella does nothing, Redsn0w won't even install on my computer (frustrating!). Trying to restore from iTunes is useless. It gets to about 90% then comes up with error code (-1) and gives up. I've tried that route probably 20 times with no change. I know I could take it into Apple and they could look at it, but I have no information on the phone itself. I cannot get the serial number. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I'll try anything that doesn't require me taking it to Apple and getting charged more than I paid for the phone to fix it....I run Windows 7. Thanks so much!

I bought an iphone 4 locked to Orange UK why can't it be unlocked

I contacted Orange UK and they said that this iPhone4 is ready to be unlocked, but they can't unlock the phone  because I am not the original contract owner. Why can't Apple unlock this phone, because the original owner doesn't care and has sold it? As far as I understand, I am one of at least 3 owners for this phone. I guess there could be more. I just wanted to have a normal iphone, why can't Apple help on this issue?  I have previously had many apple products, this is the first one I bought used adn just wanted to restore it to normal. Another thing is that 3rd party services can unlock it for 200$. What is that they do to unlock it? Why can't apple make a small comission for unlcoking iPhones instead. My iphone 5 battery drains a lot. After 42 minutes of usage, and 5 hours of standby it drops to 89%. I'm just wondering if thats normal. My iphone wont turn on after updating

My iphone 4G was updating to the latest i.OS software on itunes (on my windows computer). As usual, my phone had to restart. It turned off, but as it was turning on (when the screen just shows that silver apple logo) an error message came up on itunes saying that it couldnt update the software (I forgot to get the error number). But my phone is stuck with that silver apple logo on it. My computer tells me to restore my phone, which I tried, but everytime I do that, itunes says "extracting software" and then it says "preparing to restore" then it comes up with an error message (number 2009). I have tried restarting my computer. My phone is stuck like this. What should I do? Please help!
