I have set my iphone to the UK region when first turning it on and going through the set up process. I will be moving to the US in a month and would like to change it or set it up on the US region, although i do not want to go through resetting the phone to do it as i have all my contacts, photos, etc loaded onto the phone. Is there a way i can switch the phone's region over to US? just a note i am talking about the phone not the app store

With Wifi turned on Apps stop working. iphone 4S

When my wifi is off, everything works fine. My internet, all my apps, everything will load. When I turn on my wifi, that all goes downhill. my internet wont load, none of my apps that require internet are playable, nothing works. I have tried resetting my phone and restoring it, My boyfriends phone, which is exactly like mine, uses my wifi just fine without a problem. What should I do to fix this? Someone tried to access my online account the first day I got my phones. The carrier texted me. I rcvd snail mail that they tried to access it again and were given a temp password. I have blocked all access to my online account- I can't even access it.  My phone is now burning hot, and under Diagnostics and usage, the dates are out of order and they look suspicious- I see words like  apple user ID, daemon,etc.Please help! After recently downgrading back to iOS 6.1.4 on my iphone 5 I am trying to get back my apps but every time I go into App store it only shows option Open for apps I had previously. apps don t appear in my home screen. HELP

Stuck on apple logo tried everything HELP iphone 4

I was installing an app, it got to around 3/4 of a way and then stopped installing and I waited about 5 minutes alas it was still stuck on the same 3/4 mark. A friend told me to turn my phone off and back on, stupidly I turned it off halfway through the download/install and it wouldn't switch back on, it just stayed at the apple logo. I've tried many "solutions" like holding down the home and on button, doing that whilst it's plugged into the computer etc and it just won't turn on! I'm thinking a trip to the apple store is needed but the closest one is around an hour away so before that does anyone have any suggestions? :(

Really hot iphone iphone 5

I just bought an iphone 5 this past Friday for my first smartphone with Verizon, and I have been pretty happy with it so far, though I haven't been using it too heavily. Today, I had it with me all day long, and it seemed like the more I used it, it got pretty hot. Even hot to the point where I couldn't hold it in my hand in an air conditioned room. When this started to happen, I noticed a small spot in the upper right hand corner of the screen that turned yellow, almost like a sunspot. Seeing that, I turned it off for a bit, then turned it back on, and it was still there. I then didn't touch it for awhile, let it cool down, and when it did, the spot disappeared.  So I brought it back to vErizon where i brought it, and by that time it colled off and the spot gone, so they couldn't help me, but they did say to bring it to the Apple store and they can plug it in to see how hot it has been in the past. Is there any way that I can look at this myself rather than driving the distance to go to one, because there's not one incredibly close to me. Also, has anyone heard about this spot before?  I'm worried about the heat output of these thigns because when my Otterbox comes in the mail, i'm worried about that heating up then shutting itself down, because my iPod does that from time to time in it's Defender. Thoughts? Thanks

So i was playing with my phone, put it down for a second and when i came back to it the screen was covered with black and white lines.. Ive tried to restart the phone, reset it and all but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have advice? I am overseas so going into an apple store isnt an option.

iphone 4S restore error codes 2006 and 2001. what these actually mean

My son's phone suddenly stopped working. We connected it to the Imac using the USB cable and it came up with a restore procedure suggestion to resolved the issue. We downloaded the latest version of ITunes and then we followed the restore process. I then see a pop up error message: The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2001).  So I disconnected from the IMac reconnected and re-ran the restore procedure. This time we got the same message but with a 2006 error code.  The phone is less than a year old (bought for Christmas). It has been taken care of with no scratches, bangs or drops. What is happening and what do I need to resolve? Is it something that can be fixed?should it cost me (is this under warranty) to resolve / repair? Hopefully someone can help. Thanks Paul

My iphone 5 has continually been "searching" for two days.  I had the sim card swapped twice yesterday and nothing has changed. What could be wrong and what is my next step? More info: I have reset network setting, reset my entire phone as well. Hello, I currently on a road trip in Finland and got a 4G/LTE plan from the local carrier ELISA/Saunalahti. My iphone 5 should do 4G/LTE here and also got the local carrier update to 14.1. The switch for LTE is also there and activated. The phone never switches to LTE. They put my SIM in the local store in another iphone 5 and it did work - so the issue seems to be with my iphone 5. Any Ideas? The phone was bought in Switzerland and is the same model as the guy in the store had - A1429. Anybody with similar issue or an idea? Thanks!

iphone 4s drains fully charged battery within 1 hour after it accidentally plugged into an ipad 3 charger fix

My fully charged iphone 4s used to last enough for 1 day. Today, I accidentally plugged iphone into an iPad 3 charger for about 2 hours, then I noticed that it is getting abnormally hot. After this incident, the phone drains battery by decreasing 1% of the battery every minute. I went to see Apple technical support, who tested and said for certain that the problem was the battery (after assuring me that it should be fine to charge iphone 4s with iPad 3 charger!). After charging me a hefty fee, I left the store, and iphone 4s still drains battery like before. Can my phone be fixed without requiring me to get a new phone? Can I get my money back from Apple techincal support, who gave me a wrong diagosis of my phone?

Whenever I try to sync my iphone 4S, iOS 6.1.3, to my new Asus computer with Windows 8, I get a message saying "iTunes cannot read the contents of this iphone. Go to the Summary tab and restore." So I go to Summary and hit restore, and it doesn't seem do anything, other than want to download new iphone software, which always takes about 4 hours, and I inevitably end up with some sort of error that prevents it from loading.  I've removed and reinstalled iTunes, and restarted my phone, but it doesn't seem to work.  I would like to be able to sync to my computer, but it doesn't seem to work.  Before I was on an Asus computer with Windows 7 and it worked fine, and now I can't get it to work at all.  I have the same Internet security provider as before, so I don't think that's it.   Can anyone figure out what I should do? Why no international warranty option for iphone 5

Why is there not an option available to extend the iphone warranty to an international warranty? Especially with a phone that you tend to take with you whenever you travel having to go to the country you bought it originally is a pain and sometimes not feasible. In my case : when I travelled from Hong Kong to a business trip in the Netherlands and then on to the US my iphone 5 got stolen at the airport in Hong Kong. luckily I only had a prepaid SIM for Hong Kong in the iphone so I went online and ordered a new simlock free  iphone 5 at the Dutch online Apple store to be delivered in Amsterdam a few days later. So far, so good. I am currently in China and my iphone 5 sleep button broke down. As I had to be in Hong Kong last week I thought I would stop by the Causeway Bay Apple store after making a genius bar appointment. They checked the iphone 5 and confirmed the sleep button was broken and it would be swapped for a new one. However on checking my serial number they told me I had to go back to The Netherlands to get it fixed.... So here is a problem, I am not planning on being there any time soon. Why is it not possible in the global economy we live in to get an international warranty?  I called Apple Care and they suggested I could try in an Apple store in North Carolina where I am due in a few weeks, but they could not guarantee they would swap the phone. Now the end of July  I am due in the UK and from what I read now an iphone bought in any EU country could be swapped in another EU country. so that would mean I could swap it in London?  Very odd.  Always travel with my MacBook Air and MacBook Pro and these do have international warranty.

iphone charger won't charge phone but will charge iPad iphone 4S

I have multiple chargers for both my iphone and iPad. Every time I need to charge one of them I have to swap adapters AND cords until I find a pair that works.  For example;  my iPad was charging with regular adaptor and cord, but I needed to charge my iphone.  When I hooked it up to the charger nothing happened. Samething with car chargers. I do see sometimes it will say accessory is not supportd with this device, but why wounldnt it be?  Thats what its made for!  I have like 10 different chargers so it's getting frustrating.  That's enough info, so if u know please help me

iphone 5's sleepwake button not working properly

Hi, I've had my iphone 5 16gb since November last year. I bought it straight from Apple. For the last week my sleep/wake button hasn't been working as it should. iphone 4S Multitouch doest work properly while in charge

it is just recently when i noticed that my iphone 4S doest play so nice with muti touch especially to pinch to zoom on either pictures, ibooks, and webpages,,, when I do multitouch,, the screen just go wild and the images shakes, and worst, the screen doest respond totally in multitouch,, i have no problem in one finger navigations like tap to zoom etc,, it is just the multitouch while in charge.... I have no problem when the phone is not charging it runs smoothly... what could be the problem?? also I notices that after i juiced up the battery a while (after 45mins) the problem on the multitouch seems to disappear, but when you reconnect it again it persist... is there anyone experienced the same? and what would be the solution... apple refuses to accept my complaint because when i brought it to apple store it behaves normally even while in charge,, im using the supplied charger...
