I recently had my 4S replaced after my previous one had water damage. It was working fine at first but suddenly, whenever I take photos with my phone, they're not saving to my camera roll. I don't think it's a question memory space as I only have 1 photo on my camera roll.

I'm having issues with the camera on my iphone 5 where it locks up when I try to open the camera app or the screen goes crazy with multi-coloured white noise or a portion of the screen is covered in a purple band usually vertically.Has anyone else had this issue and managed to resolve it.Apple support have said to restore the phone or wait for iOS updates. I've done both and got a new phone and had the same issues. Any help would be great fully received.

how to import photos from computer to camera roll iPhone 3G

i have been using the same back up file for my phone's for the past four years and my iphone 5 started was all glitchy and i had over 10gb of other used up on phone so i restored it. before i restored it though i saved all of my pictures to a folder on my mac using image capture. now im wonder how to import the photos back into my camera roll, not another folder on my phone. so far i have tried using ieplorer and a couple of other programs like that but no luck. i have about 1,500 photos so i cant email all of them to myself and then save them all. all i want is all my photos back into my camera roll :/

So i have my brand new iphone 5, since out of the box (2 days ago) the camera is not working, the camera app launches when i hit the camera icon but the shutter wont open, now if hit home button and then open camera again the shutter opens but the screen is black and i can't use any button on the camera app (auto flash, switch to front camera, etc.). Last night i read somewhere in this forums to turn off "Cellular Data" on the facetime setting, and it started working, until today when i got the same problem. i already restored it as new and it did nothing. Please Help.

itunes asking for password to restore new iphone from backup. I didn t set password when I backed up phone. How can I restore new phone from backup I made just before giving my old phone to Apple

I had to take my phone in because the camera was broken.  I backed up the data on itunes and took the phone into the Apple store.  They gave me a new phone and said to just restore it from my latest backup.  When I select the restore point to use, itunes asks me for a password.  I didn't set a password when I backed up the old phone and iTunes doesn't accept my iTunes account password.  How can I get my new phone restored with the backup I did just prior to giving my phone to Apple?

Hi All, So I have disbled my iPhone 4s by forgetting my passcode (like it seems many other people do!). Also as the phone went dead as I was away for the weekend the SIM is also locked. I have often backed it up to iCloud but I never had the camera roll back up option ticked as I cannot see it when I sign into iCloud. I dont have iTunes on my laptop or access to the original iTunes where it was synced a year and a half ago. My question is can I get the phone unlocked by Apple? ( I have the IMEI number and proof of purchase) Is there any way of keeping or getting my photos/videos and messages? When I had my phone plugged into the laptop and was clicking backup through wifi will this have also backed up my photos? Thanks!

Spyware is very easily accessible and requires nothing from the Apple store, and although I realize some of these posts are several years old-at this point, it is simply misinformation.  All one needs is a similar program to the one in the link above and not only can your sms messages be accessed, your calls be intercepted and recorded, but the camera in your phone can be remotely accessed and activated at any given time without your knowledge.  As you tap away on your handy little iPhone you love so much, in whatever possibly "compromising" or embarrassing position you may be in at the time, a creeper can be looking you straight in your face or observing your enviornement at their leisure.  Imagine the horror in finding out that you were sitting there on the toilet gaming and someone was watching you the whole time or better yet, while you were involved in an intimate interaction while your phone sat charging on a dock on the nightstand next to the bed?  How about knowing that every incoming and outgoing communication is recorded and documented for the creep to scroll and read through like a book?    This is some scary stuff, and it's been used on me via an encrypted picture message.  I've done a full restore of my iPhone and the pc used for backing up via iTunes to ensure that the spyware wasn't then rooted into the pc or the iTunes, and was even told to create an etirely new Apple ID, but aside from this and there being no true scanning software for malware, spyware or viruses for the iPhone-how can I be sure that this encrypted software has truly been eradicated?  Is there an antiviral program that I am unware of?  I'm not looking for a secure AVG browser, I'm looking for a detect and destroy scanner program. <Link Edited by Host>

My camera and photo app on my iphone 4 keep crashing! I've deleted all photo's, force quit the two app's and restored my phone..but nothing has worked. Any suggestions would be helpful.

My iPhone 4 has been glitching and screen shakes. It began with just my camera but now it even on my home screen. My contract for this phone up in September should I wait until then or get new phone soon

The best way I can explain the shaking and glitching is that it starts at the bottom and will shake a lot up and down then it starts shaking faster and messing up more. I haven't dropped my phone or gotten it wet so I have no idea what happened to it.

I would like to be able to preset the following information on my iphone 5 camera metadata settings so that they automatically appear on each photos' metadata no matter which app is in use:Photographer name, copyright information, terms of use I am looking to set this as a default, not to set it after the photo is taken (or make a copy with new metadata for export) as is currently offered by so many apps. Considering the ongoing hot debates about copyright infringement and photo sharing, one would think this would be available as a set-up screen under settings/privacy/camera... Hello! I´m soo frustrated right now - it seems i can not get my new iphone 5 to work... I broke the screen my iphone 5 aproximatley 4 mounths ago, and bought a new screen on ebay. I bought this for over 300 dollars, and got a friend to fix it. (and paid him as well) He broke one of the thin wires when he was changing the screen, making the front camera and speaker useless. Except that, the phone worked just fine. Then he bought a new wire, installed that, and i got it back. But now, it wont work! When i start it just a picture of an USB cable towards an itunes brand appear... and i have litterally tried everything. No matter what I do, I can not fix it, or restore it - the error code 1611 or 1603 appears om my mac screen when I connect it to itunes, and I get no further than that. And Ive uptaded all the programs, tried holding in home and of/on-button, go into the "hosts" on my mac (if you dont understand what i ment by that, just ask) Can somebody please help me?  Im cryin here, Ive used so much money on this and it does not work. Whats wrong with it? Ive tried every possible solution that appears on google, NOTHING works. I didn't bought the phone from Apple, but maybe I can send it in to them and I can get a new one? I dont expect that, but Ive would be in heaven

few problems with my iPhone 4s.

Okay so my sister recently upgraded to an iPhone 5 because her iPhone 4s got a bit wet and it broke the camera. She gave me the 4s but it turns out it has quite a few irritating problems:The camera flash is always on. I tried a few software fixes that had worked for other people but no joy.The camera itself doesnt work. The shutter in the app doesnt open.The dock connector needs to be put at an angle for it to charge or sync and a slight movement can cause it to disconnect.The glass on the back is a bit cracked.The speakers don't work and it looks as if it is connected to a docking station in the music app when there are no headphones connected.She had this phone for over a year so there is no warranty but I have no problem with fixing/replacing some hardware myself. Would somebody be able to help me or point me in the direction for help with these probelms? any help or tips are greatly appreciated.

Itunes copied all contents of old iphone to new one. Why my iPhone 5 camera have dark shadow-type spot on one constant part of screen

There is a shadow type spot in one part of the camera app, that stays on a certain part of the screen when the camera is moved (normal HD camera on back). It then appears in photos. What can I do to fix this? Is a Genius Bar trip the only answer? Thanks!

'other' bar taking up too much space on iphone

ok i've seen this brought up a lot on here so it's definitely happened to other people, where the 'other' bar that shows up on itunes when it shows what's taking up space on your phone takes up way too much space. my phone has 8GB of space (which is apparently only 6.34GB). my audio files are only taking up 2.66GB. i don't have any apps on my phone because i thought if i deleted them it might do something but it didn't, and i can't download any more. i can't use the camera at all. the other bar is taking up 3.66GB of space on my phone and i have no idea what to do. i've searched online for like 2 weeks trying to find a way to get rid of it but it's still there. i already tried restoring it and it didn't do anything. i tried the 'phone clean' thing and it didn't do anything. i saw this comment on a discussion on here that said to go into advanced settings under the safari settings and delete all the web history and i did that and i thought it fixed it but it didn't. i'm still looking up things that could work but i honestly have no idea what to try anymore. is there anything i can do to get rid of it ??

iPhone 4s saying 6.9 gb of camera roll usage but only 52 total photos.

I recently upgraded from a iPhone 3gs to an iPhone 4s. My previous phone had 6.9gb on the camera roll. When I did a back up on my new phone none of the photos transfered, but it is still reading as 6.9gb of used. There are only 52 total photos on my phone.  I tried erasing my iphone and restoring from backup, but that didn't work. I tried restoring a few different times hoping that maybe it'd kick the bug, but no luck.  Thank you!

I dropped my iphone 4 a while ago and the back over smashed. I then replaced it myself with a do-it-yourself package off the internet.  The phone has since developed other issues with reception, signal, and a broken front camera and hold/unlock button. Will Apple replace my iPhone for these faults or would they be unable to due to the damage that was previously caused?
