Salve,ho appena ritirato un iphone 4 ricondizionato da un vs centro autorizzato e dopo appena di giorno ho riscontrato un grave problema durante l'utilizzo: durante quasi tutte le telefonate che faccio il mio interlocutore non riesce a sentire nulla (come se il mio microfono fosse impostato su muto), lo stesso problema è stato riscontrato con le cuffie originali apple e con il mio auricolare bluetooth della plantronics.Ho provato a ripristinare il telefono senza successo, dopo pochi minuti il problema si ripresenta. Ho provato ad usare anche altre applicazioni (es skype e registratore vocale) per verificare che non fosse un problema di hardware, infatti il microfono funziona perfettamente senza problemi.anche il controllo vocale funziona benissimo. riscontro questo problema solo effettuando e ricevendo chiamate.il problema è parecchio fastidioso visto che è quasi impossibile effettuare telefonate senza incorrere in spiacevoli interruzioni.avete altri clienti che hanno riscontrato questo problema?come mi devo comportare?

Character count not work for all contacts anymore. iPhone

I have an iPhone 4 running 6.1.3 with character count enabled and on the Sprint network. Recently character count stopped working when texting at least one of my contacts that i know for sure. I haven't gone through to see how many other contacts have the same issue, but i know it still works for some other contacts. Why would character count show for some of my contacts but not others? And what would cause it to stop working when it showed the number of characters before?I have found the problem exists regardless of if it's an SMS text or iMessage. And there is only one contact at a time that is the recipient; it is not an MMS. Is it possible that there actually is more than one recipient that i'm not aware of or is there another reason why character count would stop working only for certain contacts all of a sudden?

iPhone won't Charge iPhone 5

Okay so i had problems with my iPhone earlier. It would power off randomly when I was or wasnt using it. And i also charged it when I had 30% but on the top right corner for the battery icon, where its suppose to show ' charging ' it showed Fully charged. and after it died, I plugged it back in with it saying its charging. The symbol with a low red battery with a charging sign. It stayed on that symbol for more than 12 hours and never turned on to the lock screen. And if i take it out of charge, it completely shuts off.But when i plug it back in , it has the apple symbol from when you turn it back on after you powered it off. It did that symbol repeatedly. Please help. The problem: Won't charge or turn on to lock screen  Is there anyway I can do it besides taking it to Apple? Thanks (: I don't think I backed up anything, but I maybe did and I have lots of things on my phone. So is there any other solutions that I can use besides restoring it?

Full correct steps should be like this : 1) Select a favourite song in iTunes program to be made into Ringtone...-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------2) "Get Info" on that song name and make any 0:30 seconds portion of that song.... (specify "Start" & "Stop" time - under "Options" – to any 30-seconds duration and click OK)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------3) Right-click or Ctrl-Click again on same song name and select "Create AAC Version" to create an .m4a file...(when done iTunes will create a Chime)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------4) to locate the created .m4a file easily, Ctrl-Click again on same song name and select "Show in Finder" from the pop-up list...(iTunes will automatically point the folder location of the original .mp3 & the newly created .m4a files... keep this window open for later...)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------5) change the .m4a file to .m4r as suggested... (rename to whatever you like but you must change the extension to .m4r)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------6) At this point, the m4r(original) file isn't a "Ringtone" file yet... which we'll need to change now...) Keep this window open to make the transfer manually !!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------9) Once your duplicate is placed inside the "Tones" folder, double-click on that duplicate .m4r(true) file and let iTunes play, it should automatically place that ringtone file into the "Ringtone" sidebar List in the iTunes program... (check program to see) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------Somehow u needed both duplicates : 1 – inside the default initial .mp3 folder & 1 – inside the Tones Folder which we Duplicate+Drag into... and both must be "Ringtone" – Kind... for this to work.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------10) There you go. Now you can Sync / Delete / Add the whole Ringtone contents to your iPhone as you wish. //Don't forget to set SYNC ON under the iphone  "Tones" tab in your iTunes - iPhone screen... and click big SYNC button at the bottom of iTunes program & wait for the magic.( Finally you can check inside your iPhone "Sounds" settings and hopefully if all steps done correctly, the bloodycomplicatedringtone selection will be there. iphone disabled iPhone 5

Iphone 5 ios 6.1.4 password was entered incorrectly too many times. Now the iphone is disabled, state it needs connected to iTunes. Itunes state the iphone password must be entered on the iphone before it can connect to Itues. I can't do a firmware restore since the power button apparently is also disabled on 6.1.4 once the iphone is disabled. Looks like a loop and I can't get into the iphone.

No S Card Installed on iphone 5

My iphone5 has been randomly giving me a "No SIM Card Installed" message occasionally over the past 2 days. Usually it goes away if I touch the screen but the last time I noticed there was a "No SIM" message where the Sprint bars should be before I hit the home button. After that it worked fine. This is troubling because my first 5 had the same problem the day after I got it. Apple replaced it after trying other things like changing out the SIM Card. They decided it had a defective card reader. And this phone is only a month or 2 old, the replacement phone messed up its sleep button after about 8 months.  Is this a problem that I don't need to worry about or a sign of imminent failure? I can't get to the Apple Store this week and I'm taking a trip on Wednesday and really need my phone.   Thanks!

I have been having problems charging my Iphone. When plugged to the mains or pc, the phone acknowledges its connected to a power source (can see the "plug" sign and the sound made when the phone is connected to a power source), yet the battery life does not increase. I had kept my phone on charge for over 16hrs and no increase in battery life. Can someone please help me try and sort this problem out?

The iPhone 4 may not have a fast enough processor for your game, or may have too many apps running.  Try double clicking hte home button, touch and hold an app along the bottom edge until they all start to shake and a red circle with a minus sign appers on the corner of each.  Touch each red circle to dismiss all of those apps.  Then do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts.  Ignore the red slider if that appears. Now try starting your game again and see if it works better.

Tons of problems with iPhone 5

Just bought a brand new iPhone 5 from Rogers (Canada) in December. For the month that I've had it I've had MAJOR problems with this device. I've had no major problems with my iPhone 3G and iPhone 4S, by the way.- Incoming calls get randomly dropped. No "busy signal", the line simply drops dead for whoever tries to call me. It doesn't even alert me that someone tried to call me. I'll only find out later if that person attempts to call again. But what if it's an important call and the person doesn't try calling again? Then I'm screwed. I've tested this by calling my iPhone 5 from another cellphone by holding each phone in one hand. Out of 20 calls, at least 4-5 calls are dropped- Touch screen irresponsive- Very weak signal (on my 3G and 4S the signal bar is usually completely full or one bar from full, on my iPhone 5 it's almost always only half full or less), the signal drops randomly outside (especially when I'm driving, the signal will just poof)I've already exchanged the phone TWICE. First time they exchanged it without question. Second time they told me it could be a carrier issue then told me to reset, restore, etc etc, then gave me a new one again. I'm on my third one, none of these problems are fixed.What are the chances I got 3 defective phones in a row? Seriously what is going on here? I've installed pretty much nothing on this phone except Facebook, Twitter, and skype. Yes I've resetted and restore like N times, and I'm on latest firmware. What should I do? I don't even know if it's a Rogers problem or I've just had the worst luck in the world with 3 defective phones in a row, because none of the customer service people are able to tell me exactly what in the world is going on.

GPS on iPhone 4 Sometimes doesn't work

Hi Everyone.  I have an iPhone4 which was purchased from Koodo. When I used google map to navigate, sometimes the gps couldn't figure out where I was. The arrow was off the street and it stopped moving. I had to reboot my iphone to make it work. It has happened about 4-5 times in a month. Most of the time, it is fine. BTW, when I use automatic time zone, it never works I had another iPhone4 (unlocked from Apple Store) which never had such problem.  The IOS is up to date. I called Apple store asking for an exchange. They said no coz I got it from Koodo rather than Apple Store. They asked me to sign up the Genesis Bar instead.  Did anyone have a similar situation before?  Thank you very much for your help.

So, I have tried the following steps (found here and elsewhere on the web) to get my Facebook contacts out of my phone: Settings > Facebook > Allow these Apps to Use Your Account: Calendar and Contacts to OFF (clicked "Update all Contacts")Result: No change; all Facebook friends in contactsSettings > iCloud > Contacts: set slider to OFFResult: Asked if I wanted to keep the contacts from iCloud on phone. Choosing Yes resulted in no change to contacts. Choosing No deleted all of my contacts from phone (and gave me a heart attack)Facebook App > Log OutResult: No change to contacts.Settings > Facebook > Delete Account (to delete account off iPhone only).Result: Took contacts list down to 50 (some random Facebook contacts a few others) and wiped out nearly all manually entered contacts (gave me heart attack # 2).Settings > Facebook > Add Account. Signed back up; was told that my contacts and calendar would be synched and that I could turn that off (using the same method as #1 above).Result: Back where I began with Facebook friends in my contact list. I am at my wit's end with this issue. I try to sign into the app iFunny with my twitter account and I am given this error. I'm not sure why or what's going on. Google cant really tell me what error -1012 but I can't do anything to fix this.... Well I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling, I've tried turning the phone off.... and then back on.... I just did the reset where you hold the home button and the sleep button. I also deleted the twitter app too, but that didn't do any help. I made sure that my computer and my app weren't having conflicts in their IP addresses, I shut off my wifi and tried on the network. Nothing seems to work. Idk what do you guys got?

Unable to log into Facebook through Settings App iPhone 3G

When I download a new app and try to log into it though Facebook, it tells me that "Your Facebook settings prevent us from working. Open your settings app, go to the Facebook section and turn ON (the app)." When I attempt to do that, it tells me that "There was a problem accessing your account. Please reenter the password for (my name)." I'm assuming that it's asking for my Facebook password, so when I enter that, it tells me that my username or password is incorrect. I've tried my Facebook password (which I know is correct because I logged in and out of it on my laptop just to make sure), and I tried my Apple ID password as well which didn't work either. The only other thing that I can think of is that my username is incorrectly entered somewhere, but it doesn't give me the opportunity to enter my username, all it asks for is my password. This is extremely frustrating because it's preventing me from using multiple apps. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

iphone 4 randomly freezes-what hardware to swap

Good Afternoon, ive recently started up my own business fixing mobile phones - mostly cracked screens and chassis replacements. Just recently i thought id got a bargain on ebay regarding an iphone 4. It was described as working correctly, can make / receive calls and send texts etc but randomly locks up. Ive got the phone today, unfortunately its locked to the 3 network so ive got a micro sim on the way so I cant actually proceed further at this point.  Although it did crash once on me when i tried to select language's etc - had to hold the home and power button down until it turned off. Ive read on the forums that this is a common fault, and can occur to any iphone - faulty or otherwise.  And the main concensus seems to be to take it back to the store for a swap. My main question is - seeing how im likely to come across this fault again - is the fault software or hardware related? If its hardware related what circuit board is likely to be the culprit?  If we could identify the problem then im sure I could just order the required part on ebay. The fact that apple havent recalled the iphone and that they will accept these faulty iphone's back and swap for new suggests to me its an easy fix - its just easier for the technicians to go in the store room and get a brand new one. Secondly ive just got another iphone 4 white - bought cheap as its totally dead.  Tried a new battery and still nothing.  Got a new dock / charging connector on the way - is it likely to be this at fault?  Doesnt seem to be any sign of water damage, and it wasnt described as this on the ebay page. When id swapped the new battery over i tried to charge the phone ( to see if id fixed it ) and it got extremely hot - so i disconnected right away and left it to cool off. Whats likely to be the issue with that one? Thanks, and hope someone can help Adam

Hi there, I've suffering from a call receving problem which is - Example -  I have a contact saved at my phone "Mr. A" - 01619001234 [country code not present]But when i got call then it comes for - +88 01619001234, so its not showing Mr. A is calling. There are some numbers on my contact which contains country code (+88) and some of them not. Ringer not working iPhone 4S

When a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. When I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone.  I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula

Lost Mode Alarm continues-I found my iPhone 5

Hi.  Last Saturday morning I lost my phone and immediately went onto iCloud and entered the phone into Lost Mode, sent the message and Played Sound.  Spent all that day reporting the loss to the police, insurance and Vodafone and generally panicking.  Went to bed that night, put hand under pillow and guess what, found my darling phone!!!  What a relief!!  Cancelled Lost Mode on iCloud and restored passwords, Vodafone etc.  HOWEVER, at various times (and obviously I never get any warning), the lost alarm still sounds and in public, people must think I have stolen my own phone!!!  I have tried different ways to stop the alarm happening again eg setting Lost Mode over again and then cancelling it again but the alarm still goes off.  All I have to do is press the on/off button to stop it sounding but the fact that it goes off in the first place is the problem.  It should be cancelled!   Why does the alarm still go off?  Can anyone help please? Many thanks Susan

MobileVOIP skype not work after 6.1.4 iPhone 5

Hi, I have an iPhone 5. Sometimes I use the MobileVOIP app for Voip calls. After the 6.1.4 update the application does not send the audio to the speaker (both call speaker and external speaker). It seems that the application recognize the earphones also without plugging them or it is not able to reach the internal speaker. The application works good with earphones. Also trying with skype, they don't work. Since the update focused on audio-problems, are there settings to solve this problem? Do any of you have the same problem? Thank You Roberto

To Change Apple ID on iPhone 3S

Using iPhone 3GS to change Apple ID:  go to SETTINGS; then to  Itunes & App Stores, tap your old Apple ID and sign out.  When you sign out it will let you enter a new email, (Apple ID) and (I hand already changed my ID on the Apple Store but not my password) .  So I was able to use the same password.  It already had my credit card info but made me verify the security code.  Easy, just needed to know WHERE to go.
