iPhone 4 battery drain when powered off
Lately I've been turning off my phone and when I turn it back on battery is drained. Yesterday I turned it off at 80% and when I turned it back on 3 hours later it was at 62%. Then today I turned it off at 50% and when I turned it back on it was at 32%! Does anyone know why my iPhone is losing battery even when it's completely powered off? I feel like it shouldn't be losing any battery at all

iphone 5 Broken screen
So here goes... I have broken the screen on my iphone 5, it is completly shot but i can plug it in to itunes. The problem is that i have a passcode on the iphone so i am unable to bacup the phone in itunes as i can not enter the passcode.Is there any way i can remotley access the phone and enter the passcode. I have a new iphone 5 and want to sinc it with the data on my old phone, If anyone can suggest a way around this i would be forever in their debt. I have no old bacup or icloud or the like. I also know i could get the old phone repaired but would rather not spend money on this old phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know im clutchinbg at straws.

All of a sudden I lost my wifi signal....Checked out the settings and the WiFi is off and unable to turn it back on....i have powered down the phone...i have done a full restore and the wifi switched remains greyed out....any suggestions?

Do not buy Apple product in Belgium, there is no support!!! So, here it goes: Three day ago I bought an iPhone 5, at a Mobistar shop in Belgium. 700 euros. Unfortunaly, it has a defective screen, light bleeding at the top of the screen. So I went back to the shop, to get an exchange. But no, they refused. They have to send it back to Apple for repair. It will take three weeks. But I can't stay 3 weeks without a phone. And I can't just pop the sim card into an old phone, either: it's a micro-sim, and the iPhone is the only one who uses that... Except maybe if I buy another new, top of the line phone... And I don't have the money to do that... So I call Apple, directly: "Did you buy it on our website? Sorry, nothing we can do. You have to go through the operator." So basically, I am screwed. I have to keep the defective iPhone. Thank you Apple Belgium! Thank you Mobistar!
it possible to get replacement UK iPhone 5 while abroad
My iPhone 5 has a badly cracked display. As I'm out of the UK at the moment, I took it for a Genius Bar appointment in the USA. They told me it wasn't possible to get a replacement from them, and I would need to contact Apple in the UK to find out if I could get a replacement shipped to me. Before I spend money on expensive international phone calls, does anyone know if it's possible to do this? Are there any other ways I can get my screen fixed or phone replaced while I'm out of the UK?
Playback speed for IPhone 3GS-where it
Hi all, I have a few Audiobooks which I listen to on my IPhone 3GS a lot and I put a couple more and last night I downloaded them and now they have an echo which it didnt before. From what i have read I need to change the playback speed but from all the feedback I have seen online there is no icon on my phone at the bottom right corner I can touch to change it. I have just about tried everything with no luck. PLEASE is there anyone that can help me. I have already lost these books once and have spent a lot of money getting them back. I will very angry if I cant listen to this now. Many thanks and I would appreciate any assitance.
Iphone 5 trouble with charging please help
Haven't had my iPhone for long (around November for my birthday) and for about the last couple of weeks recently I have had major trouble with the battery charge. At first I thought it was the cables, so I got new one after new one and they'd work but then stop working. Until the last one I just purchased, it pretty much stopped charging the phone straight away. No lightening or sound response, no connection via computer etc. So, when my charge ran out I still had it plugged into my computer and now my phone only chargers when it's off when it's plugged into a USB port (bear in mind, it doesn't connect to iTunes-it says USB is unrecognized although it still chargers the phone when off). However, it charges fairly quickly when off but when in use the charge diminishes just as quick as it takes to charge. Not only that but now whenever I wish to turn my iPhone off, it turns itself back on. I have recently sent off my phone to the Apple store to have it checked over and it came back to me saying they couldn't reproduce the symptons I had mentioned so there was me thinking everything was fine but nope, still faulty. So a bit disappointed with paying £7.00 for delivery to have nothing been done about it (not only that, but the phone as also out of charge when returned so it just seemed like my phone wasn't looked over one bit). Also a bit disappointed and annoyed at the fact I'm still paying for my monthly contract for the phone when I am unable to use it!!! I haven't damaged the phone (it basically looks brand new) and haven't exposed it to any liquids. The USB port on my phone where I charge it seems clear too. The annoyance of having to send it back to Apple costing me more money is offputting so does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm going to my local 3 store to see if they can help me out but I'm just a bit fed up now. Can see this is a popular problem amongst other iPhone users too. Many thanks! (Oh and need to add I HAVE updated everything on my phone, restored everything, restarted etc.)
Iphone 5 charger keeps on breaking.
Over the past five months, I have purchased over five different charger cables for my iphone 5 which i bought new in December. For some reason, after months, weeks or even days, he latest charger stops working. Sometimes the phone is plugged in and it doesn't respond at all to the cable, other times, the cable only functions when in a certain position. I am so angry at this as I'm spending and will continue to spend a lot of money to charge my phone. Am I doing something wrong? (This was never an issue with my iphone 3 and the cable even worked when the connector head seemed half broken off). What should I do? And also, is anyone else having this issue, because if not, then it must be an issue with my actual phone, no?Thanks
Battery life-iphone 4
Well I tried turning off the Bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity. After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours. I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iPhone 4 battery? My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.

Hello! I´m soo frustrated right now - it seems i can not get my new iphone 5 to work... I broke the screen my iphone 5 aproximatley 4 mounths ago, and bought a new screen on ebay. I bought this for over 300 dollars, and got a friend to fix it. (and paid him as well) He broke one of the thin wires when he was changing the screen, making the front camera and speaker useless. Except that, the phone worked just fine. Then he bought a new wire, installed that, and i got it back. But now, it wont work! When i start it just a picture of an USB cable towards an itunes brand appear... and i have litterally tried everything. No matter what I do, I can not fix it, or restore it - the error code 1611 or 1603 appears om my mac screen when I connect it to itunes, and I get no further than that. And Ive uptaded all the programs, tried holding in home and of/on-button, go into the "hosts" on my mac (if you dont understand what i ment by that, just ask) Can somebody please help me? Im cryin here, Ive used so much money on this and it does not work. Whats wrong with it? Ive tried every possible solution that appears on google, NOTHING works. I didn't bought the phone from Apple, but maybe I can send it in to them and I can get a new one? I dont expect that, but Ive would be in heaven

My mom passed me her phone as she couldn't get it to restart. I got it to charge and restart in recovery mode. However, I've tried all steps on this and many other forums and it is stuck in "trying to restore". On the phone, it will blink a white screen, show the apple logo and a progress bar then quickly disappear then on the computer give me error code 9. I have tried 3 different cords, on both my MacBook Air and my iMac. Same results on both computers. She purchased a new phone as she couldn't do without, but would love to fix this phone and give to one of my children. This phone has not been jailbroken. Any help would be sooooo appreciated! Not sure what will happen if I try to take this to Apple.

Recently my iPhone 4s stopped charging via the wall charger and my car charger, I have experimented with various cords and wall charging units, and it still does not charge. I recently took my iPhone to the Mall of America Apple Store and they said that the problem is with the device and since the device is out of warranty, I could use my upgrade and "upgrade" to the iPhone 4 for free, I could get a replacement 4s for $200, etc. However, since I am unemployed and my contract is almost up with Sprint, I do not want to spend that kind of money. The Sprint store says the problem is with the cords, but since I have tried multiple cords, I suspect the Apple Store is right. Has anyone here experienced this issue, if so were you able to fix and how did you?
Iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car
My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta). Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck? I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.

Hi guys, I've used apple for 5 years now. Started with an Iphone 3GS and since then I could not use any other brand as a Cel Phone, and I tried, believe me I tried. I used an Iphone 4 for 3 years without having any problem, without having to even call Apple. Then, by the end of the last year I went to London for a trip. I bought an Iphone 5 and came back to my home country, that is Brazil...Used it for 4 months or so and it started having problems with the wake and sleep button, then I thought, "ok, apple is a worldwide company, they are reliable, that's the main reason for me to have bought it for so long and the phone still in warranty, they will trade it for me" so I called apple...For the first time in 5 years...And I did not get answered properly. Apple states that since I bought the Iphone in london, they warranty can only be used for trading the phone in london...I have no intentions of going to london this year, what meand I will lose my warranty and the money I spent with my Iphone. To clarify, I did go to Washington for a better support, but they stated the same...I called apple and they stated that the Iphone is broken and needs to be traded but it can only be done in london. An analyst called James Downs told me to call apple regent street that's the one where I bought the Iphone and when I called there for getting my money back because they are not providing the proper support for my iphone they state that I need to take the Iphone to the store... End of the story, I have a broken Iphone, I am frustrated with apple, because they are acting as they do not care for the costumer at all. In my point of view, they should escalate the problem, call the brazilian store and trade my phone or ship me a brand new one. I took the iphone to different stores in different countries that I have access and so far nothing. Apple does not care, my iphone is 4 months old and is already broken...If nothing is done I'll be very frustrated, I'll be at least ****** because it seems I'll not have my money back because the store states they will not do that even though an apple consultant says it and I have no way of taking the phone to the store. Please, can anybody from apple help me with that? I really want my phone or my money...If you can just ship me a new one I'll be ok with that..But you should do something, you are apple, not some other ****** company around the world, will you not honor your brand?
4 month old iPhone 5 with Applecare-Still Â179.99 to replace screen
Hi all, I have an iPhone 5 which is only 4 months old and has full Applecare on it. Unfortunatley I had a horse decide to tread on it and the whole screen has cracked! I've taken it to the Apple Store and they have replaced the whole phone for a new one. Thats brilliant except that even though i've paid extra for the Applecare and its only 120 days old, I still had to pay £179.99! From discussions it sounds like there is an option in the US of purchasing Applecare plus, which also has accidental damage, however surely the UK's applecare should have some kind of accidental damage allowance!? After all we all know how small the chances of a hardware fault occuring on an iPhone and that seems to be all thats covered with Applecare! I'd like to get other peoples views of this please. Don't get me wrong I agree that if you had a phone that was 6 months old or older, or you had decided not to pay a further £99 for Applecare, then i'd expect to have to pay to get the phone repaired/replaced, but it just seems such a waste of money getting Applecare when this is the most common problem thats bound to happen to your phone!
Cracked screen on brand new iPhone 5
I bought my new iPhone 5 through Optus and it was delivered Wednesday. I didn't get the extra Apple Care plan, and today, barely 3 days later there is a crack in the front glass!!!!! Can Apple fix this under the standard warranty or am I up for more money already??? It hasn't been dropped or bumped so not sure how the crack even got there? :(

My iPhone 4 died and won't turn back on. It's been on charger for 17 hours.
Last night my phone went completely dead while I was doing something for school. I put it on the charger as soon as I got into the car, maybe 30 minutes after it went dead. It's been charging for 17 hours and still shows an empty battery with a flash underneath. I've tried everything. I've attempted a hard reset multiple times, the screen goes black for maybe two seconds and then the empty battery comes back. Tried restarting my computer while my phone was plugged into it. Tried pressing the home button while plugging it into my computer. My computer isn't recognizing it when I plug the phone in. I am desperate. I don't have the money to buy a new phone. Please help. It hasn't been dropped. No water damage. I've never broken an iPhone before.

So I had AT&T and bought the iPhone 5 from them, on contract, back on December 15 2012. I wanted to save money and have Unlimited Data so I paid an Early Termination Fee to cancel my contract, got my unlock from them, and moved to T-Mobile prepaid $60 plan/mo. So I get Edge coverage, or 3G wherever their reframed 1900 network is. BUT now T-Mobile has their own iPhone that is LTE-enabled, and has the 1700/2100 AWS bands, for 4G/LTE in most places! Can I get my model replaced with this model?? If so, how? It has the same model number as mine but people are referring to it as the "GSM 2013 model".

I was trying to recover a deleted text message and used Wondershare Dr. Fone to load previously deleted messages. I didn't find the message that I was looking for, but when I went back to my "desktop" - all my apps were rearranged and there was a photo I had set as the background 2 years ago. Hello,A few weeks ago the wifi stopped working on my iPhone 4s… it couldn’t find a wifi network and the times it could, it only worked for a few minutes. This problem occurred a few days after uploading iOs 6.1.2.So I went to the Apple store two weeks ago and they gave me a new cellphone for free (still was on warranty, otherwise it is $199 to replace an old device), because they thought the problem was my phone itself. At home, I was so happy to have a new phone and the wifi was working again without problems! I put my back-up on and started using it.Sunday, I uploaded iOs 6.1.3.Monday (one week after having my new iPhone) I lost my wifi connection again.On Wednesday, tired to have wifi connectivity issues, I reseted the network settings. When my phone turned on, the wifi option was grayed out and had been since then.Friday (today), I erased all content and settings. When my phone turned on, the first thing I did was to check at the wifi option: it still was grayed out (even if my phone was empty at a ‘factory reset’).I will have to go to the Apple store once again.I will lose money and time again (because going to the Apple store means an 2h45 bus ride to go/come back and yes, it is expensive).I hope the problem will be fixed this time, but I really don’t think so because the problem seems to be from iOs 6 (and its updates).Apple, I searched the web and found that I’m FAR from being the only customer with this connectivity problem. Otherwise I would not be looking for a solution here, where people go to find solutions in the last place, when all other options have been exhausted. There is a lot of rumors about last "defective" iOS upgrades and many people reporting the same kind of problem: Our expensive apparatus stops producing sound. If I can't hear incoming calls it means it's not a phone anymore.Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't want to read "Build your own iPhone" book. iPhone 4s not charging
My iPhone 4s is not charging. Last few days it was eating up the battery life quicker than usual. Tried doing all the power up deals, turning off then on, even a restore. It is now completely powered off and not turning on even when plugged in. I'm out of ideas. A little help please!Thanks

After complete restore of iPhone 4 it still keeps turning off and has to be powered up again
We have been having trouble with our iPhone 4. It will just die. I researched the web and was able to find the information to restart it by pushing both buttons. This resets it, but does not last. I did a complete reset on the phone then updated it, but it continues to turn off and has to be restarted. It is out of warranty, any help would be great.

Hi, three weeks ago my bank card was compromised by online transactions made by someone else to a car dealership. I have no association with a car so these transactions wasn't used by myself. I reported it as fraud. The money was refunded back into my account but in the meantime I was issued with a new card and a new pin. Last week, the same transactions happened with my new card. Again, I reported fraud. An adviser told me that it looks like my iPhone was hacked into by possibly using an unsafe and open WiFi area. Is it possible that an iPhone can get hacked into and for them to retrieve sensitive information such as bank details, address etc? And if so, what free app can I get to protect all my details, including my bank details. I do a lot of purchasing online via eBay and iTunes. I never, never give my bank details to anyone, nor have I purchased anything online using an insecure website, as I know not to do this. But, my main question is, can my iPhone 5 get hacked into or get a virus and if so, what protection can I install for this to never happen again. Bear in mind I do not have a laptop or a pc. I just started to get a SIM Failure Pop up on my iphone 5on Thursday while traveling and using Maps fornavigation. I cannot seem to remove or repair this error.I have gone to yoru support page and followedinstructions on how to reset network.I first tried to send a text and failure came up. Then resetnetwork and text went through, but pop up still came upwith Sim Failure every time I turn my phone on.I also followed instructions to remove Sim Card whenturned off and Reinserted it and that did not work either.What do I do? I have powered off, updated phone andanything on yoru site I couldl handle myself to do.Can you fix this? Or is it a Verizon Wireless issue?

month ago i just download App and paid $41.99 for service. i didnt use this service and didnt pay anything or agree to pay for service after a month. but they charged $41.99 again without any notice or my agreement. i dont want this service and take back my money. also i really want block this app to avoid keep charging every month. what should i do for this? somebody help me...
Gamecenter error connecting to online services on call of duty black ops zombies for iOS. iPhone 3G
So I got this new app 3 months ago called Black ops call of duty : zombies. And I LOVE it!! But every time I try to join an online game, wether it be map vote, single map, 2-4 players, restarting my phone... What happens is it takes me to the gamecenter connect page, where it connects me with another player, but after a few seconds, it takes me into the multiplayer lobby, and then pulls up a message saying "connecting to online services" and it does that for a minute before saying "error joining room" and makes me quit the online game, leaving the other person kicked off the server because the other person (me) left or was kicked, I do NOT want to jailbreak my iPhone for this problem, and I am very experienced with iPhones and other electronics, both apple and Microsoft, if there is anyone who knows how I can fix this problem WITHOUT jail breaking my phone or paying money.. (Maybe ill pay money, it depends...) then Please tell me! It has done this to me EVERYTIME for the past 3 months, and still does... So please help!

Hello, I buy a iphone 5 from Tailand. I bring it to Turkey but the phone is not working well. There is a hardware problem become up. When i send it to authorized service here in Turkey to change it, they did not accept cause of it is from out of country. There must be a way to help me. I pay a lot of money for this phone and i am not available to use it. It is already 5 month over and nothing help to me. Please show me the way. bought an iphone 5 from craigslist and it was stolen some one from apple please help me.
I took it to the cops and gave them the info i had of the person whom i bought the phone from. Today they called and said if the person doesnt answer they cant do anything. im 17 year old kid and i paid 480 for the iphone. if anyone from apple is reading this im begging you please please help me out it wont hurt just to help me one time. im begging please thats a lot of money please.
