erased photos iPhone 5

I put my pictures on a new Iphone. Then I restored my old info from my old phone on my new one. The pictures got deleted. Is there any way to get them back? These pics are so important to me. They are of my baby nephew who passed away and I am so sad. Thank you for any ideas. I feel like I may have to look into some kind of forensic restoration for the photos, but honestly, I would just do whatever it took to get them back for our family. I should add that technology is certainly not my forte.... Thank you to everyone for any ideas; I would really appreciate some help with this.

My iPhone 5 won't stay powered down.

I am able to power down my iPhone 5, by sliding the red slider. But then about 30 seconds later, it powers back up by itself.  I've already done the Sleep/Snooze button and the Home button together for 10 seconds, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

today I completed a software update for my iPhone 5 without backing it up because I did not receive a warning that all my data would be erased and so, did not realize it would be an issue. Upon completing the update, I realized my mistake but figured it was too late to revert the damage and continued with the restoration of my phone to its factory settings. After completing the update, I realized just how much data was lost (including important notes with financial information and images and videos of recent trips around Europe). Now I am desperate to try to recover the data deleted in the update. Is there any chance at all that I can recover something? The notes and videos are most important to me. I am also missing many Messages but that is less important to me. Can anyone please help? Any response is greatly appreciated!

Ios 6.1.3 Red Eye Correction iPhone 5

today I was taking pictures of my family, and I was using the flash on my phone because the light in the room was very dull. After taking the pictures and looking at them, I noticed the red eye thing that happens when you use flash. I decided to get rid of them with the red eye correction tool in the stock camera app, and after about 15 taps of pressing the red spots on one of the eyes on my cousin, the tool kept making dark spots in the wrong spot each time, and then the photos app just crashes. Um How can I fix this issue? because its persistent with every picture I Do it too.

My iphone 5 got wet.

Well today i was running track and my iphone was in my bag but the rain wasnt really heavy but all my stuff still got wet and everything still works butthe sound is a little weird not much but when i play songs it dosent sound right. Please someone help

Ringer not working iPhone 4S

When a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. When I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone.  I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula

How durable iphone 5 unibody

I went to best buy today to buy a snap on case for my iphone and I went to geek squad for them to put the case in and I saw that they were pretty rough with my iphone, they tried pushing the iphone in as hard as they could and then it snapped on I am too scared to take off the case again cuz it seems like it will be hard to put back on. How durable is the unibody in terms of scrathes and dents?

Sensitive screen iPhone 4S

My phone started acting up today and  the screen is hyper sensitive and is calling people and opening programs without me touching my phone.

my iphone 4s shuts off automatically and i can't turn it on with just power button i need to reset all time. it's been happening since sunday and today already tuesday. what happening

OS - 6.1.3After it turns off it gets put into " recovery mode". and even if i do the "restart", i have to do it several times before the phone actually turns on. phone is 1 year and 5 mos old. already tried to restore it but it just keeps on shutting down. can anybody help?

i got my new iphone 5 for christmas and noticed today that there was a little mark on the camera as i went to snapchat some friends  i tried rubbing it away but it wont budge and now I realise its a chip or scratch and its ruining the camera on the phone is there anyway i can get the lense replaced or a replacement devise as im still in my 1 year warrenty  any help appriciated  cheers

iTunes cannot find update server iPhone 4

After months and months of not being able to update my iPhone 4 to the new technology due to storage usage, i was finally able to. Now after two hours of waiting, my phone says it was verifying the update. My phone turned off and then turned back on and i got the plug into iTunes icon. After i plugged it in it says that the iPhone update server cannot be found.

iPhone 4 battery drain when powered off

Lately I've been turning off my phone and when I turn it back on battery is drained. Yesterday I turned it off at 80% and when I turned it back on 3 hours later it was at 62%. Then today I turned it off at 50% and when I turned it back on it was at 32%! Does anyone know why my iPhone is losing battery even when it's completely powered off? I feel like it shouldn't be losing any battery at all

Red screen iPhone 5

I have had problem with my iphone 5. It have been switching off with out any notice. today we could not turn it on again. We only got the apple sign. After awhile we got an error message and the screen turned red, all red! What should we do?

Why did my iphone 5 factory reset

I've had my iphone 5 for a few months, for some reason today, my phone made a beeping noise I've never heard and did a complete factory reset. I thankfully have it set up to back up to icloud. Anyone have any ideas on why or suggestions on what I should do? Thanks!

Wifi greyed out on Iphone 4s

All of a sudden I lost my wifi signal....Checked out the settings and the WiFi is off and unable to turn it back on....i have powered down the phone...i have done a full restore and the wifi switched remains greyed out....any suggestions?

iphone 4s battery draining

Hi, I've recently noticed that my iphone 4s battery is draining very quickly. Normally, I would charge my phone overnight and it would last the whole day. Recently i've noticed that my battery drains extremely quickly, just now its gone from 55% one minute to 35% the next! Earlier today, in 3 hours my battery went from 100% to 15%.  Does anybody know how to fix this? Ive seen some articles saying that people notice that their iphone batteries drain fast after the 6.1.3 update, but I downloaded this a while before my battery has been playing up. I would appreciate any help/tips! Thanks

My iPhone 5 is barely 2-3 months old, a couple of days ago it stopped charging yet it was plugged in, it never died either. today I had it plugged in for a few hours and suddenly I unplugged it and it died. It wont turn back on now. Help please!

My phone will not restore properly iPhone 4S

I just bought a second hand (perfect condition) iPhone 4S today, the user sold it because they had upgraded to an iPhone 5. The previous user did not restore the phone they just deleted all of their previous data (contacts, pictures, applacations, they left their 1,100 songs though), so I planned on restoring it later tonight to start fresh. I had it activated to my phone number at the Verizon store on my way to a family party and used it throughout today but put barely anything onto it knowing I would be restoring it tonight. I got home and plugged it into my laptop and went to iTunes found "Emily's iPhone" and then hit the restore button like normal, it worked perfectly fine and went the whole 14 minutes it said it had to. Then my phone went to the "connect to iTunes" screen when it was already connected. I checked to make sure everything was plugged in correctly, and it all was perfectly fine. I tried the manual reboot (holding the home and lock buttons for a few seconds) and all it does is shut off and bring me to the same "connect to iTunes screen".. someone please tell me how I can restore my phone! Thank you,    Emily

iphone 5 camera not working

So i have my brand new iphone 5, since out of the box (2 days ago) the camera is not working, the camera app launches when i hit the camera icon but the shutter wont open, now if hit home button and then open camera again the shutter opens but the screen is black and i can't use any button on the camera app (auto flash, switch to front camera, etc.). Last night i read somewhere in this forums to turn off "Cellular Data" on the facetime setting, and it started working, until today when i got the same problem. i already restored it as new and it did nothing. Please Help.

iPhone 4-battery drains

I have iPhone 4 which is running iOS6. Starting probably yesterday, when the battery level not even comes down to zero, phone switches off. Yesterday it went off when the battery level was at 15% and today it went off when it was at 18%.Can someone please tell me what the reason for this and how I can fix this? Much appreciate your feedback. Thank you,Roshan.

hello iPhone 4S

hey there, so i bought my iphone on April 5th and it was working fine up until 2 days ago, my phone started glitching and shutting off by itself. today it shows up with the input cord on the bottom of the screen and an arrow pointing to the itunes symbol at the top of the screen. When i plug my iphone into the computer it says it needs to be restored, i click "restore iphone", it then loads well but when it makes the final load to turn my phone on, it crashes and says "the iphone "iphone" could not be restored. An unknown error occured" what do i need to do to fix my iphone??????

volume on my iPhone 4 only works when charger plugged in what's going on

My phone's volume stopped working today so I looked up the problem and all I saw was to use a Q-tip to clean out the port. I did this but now the volume only works when the charger is plugged in. No sounds play, the ringer, keyboard clicks, music and videos don't work. Please help!

Battery life-iphone 4

Well I tried turning off the Bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity.  After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours.  I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iPhone 4 battery?  My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.

not purchase LifeProof case iPhone 5

Less than two months ago, I purchased an iPhone 4S 16G, as well as a LifeProof case, which the dealer told me was superior to an Otterbox. It is touted to be waterproof, dirtproof, snow/iceproof, and shockproof. Up until today, I have been quite pleased with my case, though the screen protector does make it a bit harder to to tap the screen. today, I had my phone in my pocket. When I bent over, it fell out and hit the ground from a height of two feet. It was completely in its case, and I had performed all the checks recommended before using the case. It fell on to carpet. When I picked it up, the case was undamaged, but the entire front of my phone was shattered. It look as though it had been hit by a bullet. The screen still worked, but it was covered with tiny shards of glass. The damage seemed focused around the ear speaker at the top of the phone. I have in the past dropped an iPod touch, sans case, face down onto tile, and the damage was about 4x less than the current damage on my phone. I immediately called Apple, who told me that the warranty did not apply to my situation (though this was not a surprise). I would have to replace my phone, refurbished for $150 or new for $200. I then called LifeProof, at which point I discovered that their warranty only covers the case. They will not refund your phone, though they offered to give me a new case. The person I spoke to told me that he used a LifeProof case, and that his screen had cracked several times while using it. He recommended going to an independent phone dealership who would repair my screen. In short, this overpriced case does almost nothing. To be fair, I have had no problems with the waterproof aspect of the case. However, it will not protect your phone from even the most minor drop that would normally not damage the phone at all. I have seen several accounts of LifeProof owners who put their phone in their pocket and pull it out cracked. This case is not worth $1, let alone $80. For emphasis, I have included some photos of what my phone looks like after the fall. Remember, this was only two feet and onto carpet while in the supposedly shock-proof case.             

never had problem buying apps on my iphone before. now i get message saying paypal not accepted on this devise i went to itunes store like it said and entered my credit card as payment default but same message keeps coming up and I cant even

I never had problems before buying apps for my iphone 4s.  I even bought some today.  then I started getting a message that paypal is not compatible with itunes and I had to go to my account and put a defferent payment.  I did that but I still can't buy apps or even download free apps. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it?

i lost my iphone , but i'm keeping track of it on find my iphone.lately i purchesed a new device and connected it to the same Apple ID i was using on my lost phone.i don't want the theif to access my account nor be able to purchase or update through it. yet i need to keep it on find my iphone list. PS: i changed the password of the my apple ID today. my question:is it possible to remove the phone fromthe association list but keep it on find my ipohne list in the same time? Thanks guys

What happens when you follow all steps in this article but your 4s repeatedly gives you an error code 9 and you've changed cords AND computers and nothing working

My mom passed me her phone as she couldn't get it to restart.  I got it to charge and restart in recovery mode.  However, I've tried all steps on this and many other forums and it is stuck in "trying to restore".  On the phone, it will blink a white screen, show the apple logo and a progress bar then quickly disappear then on the computer give me error code 9.  I have tried 3 different cords, on both my MacBook Air and my iMac.  Same results on both computers.  She purchased a new phone as she couldn't do without, but would love to fix this phone and give to one of my children.  This phone has not been jailbroken.  Any help would be sooooo appreciated!  Not sure what will happen if I try to take this to Apple.

So I went to sync my iphone 4s today and I noticed that "other" space was taking up 13 gb of my memory! i only have a 16 gb phone! what the heck. i cannot seem to figure out what is taking up all this space.. What takes up all this space and how do I free it up?? HELP! thanks!

Wi-Fi not available iPhone 4S

Hi! My wifi connection was perfect until today. Yesterday I was able to connect and find wi-fi connections, today my wi-fi settings connection toggle it's grayed out.I've rebooted the phone some times and the wi-fi settings were normal, not gray an unselectable but still I couldn't find wi-fi networks.I've tried a hard reset (Home+On/Off) and now the settings are completly gray. Hardware problem?iPhone 4s 6.1.3 Thanks for you time.

Un-resettable iphone in coma

My iphone 4 has been operating with a non-functioning power button for months, today it went nuts vibrating and then died.  I can't do a hard reset (due to the power button) and I can't restore (due to the fact that I'm traveling and away from my iTunes).  I've plugged into a friends mac and iTunes is not recognizing the device.  Any suggestions?   PS:  I'm also in an apple store-less place for the time being. Help?

Iphone cannot be activated

Earlier today my iphone said that I needed to restore it.  Went on to itunes to do a back up and restore but not it is saying that it can not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable.  Now have no phone.  On wi-fi so no problem connecting.

cracked screen-have Apple fix have tech geek friend fix or just replace phone iPhone 4

    Not being very careful today, I dropped my phone and it landed flat on its glass front screen. Dusch! Cracked screen! My questions now are a) should I just go into Apple and see if they can replace it? b) have a tech geek friend replace the cracked screen ( you can buy the parts and repair kit online), or c) should I just replace the whole phone (can't remember if the warranty is up. Think it might be)? Anyone have experience replacing the screen with after market parts/kit? Results? Thanks! M

Iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car

My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta).  Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck?  I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.

Iphone 5 turning off at 40 battery power

Hi guys. today when I played music through spotify to my car audio system (through minijack), my iPhone 5 turned itself off in the same way it does when the battery is empty. At this point, the battery was at 40%. When I tried turning it on immediately after, the 'connect to power outlet' symbol showed up. I also remember I used the snapchat app at that point. Now a couple of hours later, I could turn it on normally and I have 40% power left. At the moment I'm running iOS 6.1.3 and I've never experienced this before.  Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be related to the amount of power drawn through the headphone jack?  Thanks!

Dropped iPhone in water

I was in the bathroom and my phone fell into a bucket that had a bit of water in it. I immediately took it out and my sister blew in a few areas and I dried some holes with tissue and tested to see if anything wasn't working (sound basically. everything was working fine, though the sound was a bit low) and then I turned it off. After maybe 2 minutes we put it in a bag of rice. Throughout this whole event the LED light in the back has been on and it still is. It's been an hour since it happened. Why isn't the light turning off and do you think my phone will be fine in a couple of days? The thing is I literally just went to the Apple store today to replace the iPhone I had that didn't let me turn my phone off and on (the power button was basically stuck).

iphone 5 not showing current battery when charging

My phone has been acting strange for a few days but today it have a few new quirks! When i'm charging it will stay at the current battery percentage and not go up. So I then turn off my phone turn it back on and its like MAGIC the percentage it up where it should be! Then it has been just shutting off while i'm using apps! Its driving me nuts!! Does anyone have any fixes or should I just head to the apple store and hope to get a new one?

iPhone Battery replaced but now it seems worse than before iPhone 5

Went to apple today with hardware issues, ended up having to have batter replaced even though my battery life was fine. Left the shop and the battery has gone from 27% to 3% and I have hardly used.

iPhone not working properly can i change it for new one

Hello. on December i purchased my iPhone 5 on eBay for about 530. Its under warranty until december 20 2013, not today while charging my iPhone at night i noticed my iPhone kept charging and uncharging itself, (the beep noise) it keept doing it for quite awhile and i checked up on it.  It has some problems charging, i've never had any problems with it before. Now, i tried hard resetting and rebooting it a bunch of times but when i hard reset (dfu mode) my computer would not recognize it to even restore it. my computer won't even recognizes if the phone is connected.  It's not the cables as i have an iPad 4 and i have 3 cables in total, all original apple products. All cables work perfectly fine with the iPad but not with the iPhone, so i'm geussing something is wrong with my iPhone.  How can i get my iPhone replaced or fixed?  I've only been in the apple store to check out products but never spoken to any of the customer support.   what questions will i get asked?  Do i gotta make an appointment or can i just walk into a local apple store and bring in my device and box.  what will i need?      It's my first time trying to replace or fix my iPhone so i need help. Help a fellow apple user.
