mi iPhone 5 camera not working how can i fix it

When I purchase the phone the camera works, but after a few days and having the iOS 6.1.4 installed it stops working!!!When I open it it just stays without open (not in black it just stays close!) I have already reset the iPhone and re install everything through iTunes but this does not fix the problem. What can I do?Thanks

My camera frozen iPhone 4

Have tried restore on iTunes and restore to new on phone.   The issue is not changing even with that.  Happened about a month ago and haven't been able to get it to work since. As soon as I click on camera, whatever the camera is facing is what it is frozen on.   Sometimes the shutter won't even open and the video does not work either.  None of the apps that you can take a picture with work either like Instagram, pict stich etc. Not sure what else to do. seberia8

my iPhone 4 Genuinely NEW or Refurbished Please HELP

#I just received my BRAND NEW, SEALED, iPhone4 32 GB FACTORY UNLOCKED which I bought from Ebay. After unboxing, I switched on the phone to find that it was already activated, and did NOT show the "Connect to iTunes" screen, which gave me doubts whether this phone is actually brand new, the phone does have that protective film on the front and back which normally comes with brand new iPhones, anyhow I went online and did some intense research and found interesting facts about the serial number, and from my understanding the phones with serial numbers starting with 5K could be a refurbished phone, and indeed my supposedly BRAND NEW iPhone which came in a sealed retail box with all accessories does have a 5K serial number, so I did some more googling and came across a web site which gives details about an iPhone with its serial number and it shows this phone is a refurbished one. I checked on Apple website for warranty and it says "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contactus."  #Now all you good knowledgeable people out there, please please shed some light on this matter.Is this really a genuine brand new phone? When I contacted the seller regarding     the phone being already activated, he said it is normal with phones     which are factory unlocked. But I believe it is actually supposed to     show  - “Connect to iTunes” screen. That was how it was with my     iPhone 3G. At least right out of a brand new box. Am I correct? How can a refurbished iPhone come in a     sealed retail box? Even if that was the case, would it cost the same     as a normal brand new FACTORY UNLOCKED iPhone because I paid US $     904.00 for this. Does Apple sell refurbished iPhones as     new? What confuse me is that the box have all the labels intact as     it was a sealed box, and the serial number and IMEI number match     with the actual phone. Should I consider this a genuine     product that Apple meant to sell as it is or better I go for a claim     and either get a refund or replacement from the seller on Ebay?.   Thank you very much in advance for all your kind help and insights. I got a new Iphone 5 but I cant find old apps on my Itunes account. Where are they and how do I putthem on my new phone?

My iPhone 5 freezes EVERY time I try to open contact or addedit contact and freezes up pretty much on everything I .

My iPhone 5 operates at about the speed of dial-up internet.  Every time I try to do something I have to wait. My harddrive is not even close to being full and I always close out of my programs so I am confused.  It is mainly a problem with contacts (adding, editing, viewing, anything). I also occasionally hardware reset (power and home button same time) to try and help but to no avail. Is this an Apple issue that a trip to the Apple Store will take care of?  I am just sick and tired of having upgraded to an iphone 5 only to step backwards in speed and performance, plus switching over deleted over half of my contacts even though I had icloud set up on my 4 and also on my 5 so it should have been seamless.  Is my phone a lemon?

My iPhone 5 won't stay powered down.

I am able to power down my iPhone 5, by sliding the red slider. But then about 30 seconds later, it powers back up by itself.  I've already done the Sleep/Snooze button and the Home button together for 10 seconds, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Camera problem with iPhone 5

I purchased my iPhone 5 in January 2013 in India. For past couple of months, my phone camera dies frequently. The first time it happenned, I update the phone with iOS 6.1.3 and it started working. Next time when Camera was not working then I reset the phone and it started working, Now, I have the same problem, when I open the camera, shutter does not open and I am not able to click any picture. Does anyone has a similar problem with their iPhone 5? I understand, that I should pay for it, but there is no any official support of apple in my country (Georgia).What can I do? Facebook Push Notifications not working on iPhone 4S 6.1.3 and Macbook Pro OS X 10.8.3

Hi there! There are troubles with Facebook Push notifications on my two iPhones 4 (iOS 6.1.2) and 4S (iOS6.1.3) and on my Macbook Pro 15 (OS X 10.8.3). There are no any push notifications about new messages or "likes" by integrated Facebook App and by Facebook app prom iTunes too. I have notifications in notification center about statuss updates and comments, but sounds there are no at all. Everything in settings are switched on:-Settings/Facebook-Settings/Notifications/Facebook-Facebook/account Settings/Notifications/Mobile Push I have done anything i can. Signed Out from all apps, deleted Facebook App, swithed off and then swithed on notifications, Signed In again and again. What can i do to solve this problem? I realy need notifications about messages on iOS and OS X.

Crashing and screen flickering problems. iPhone 4

I too have had the "flickering/flashing" screen problem...I received my first iPhone 4 on release day (6/24); had no display issues until 3 days later, on 6/27. First occurred while on call in car; phone continued to work but display was black; had to do the two-button "hard restart" method to reboot phone. I was away on vacation for a week (not near an Apple Store), and phone continued to have this issue at least once/day. It could be on any screen or app...had it occur on calendar, a game, the home screen, etc. It would begin flashing ~8 times, then go to a "lit up black" (not off but slightly and evenly lit up black). Sometimes it would be 75% black, w/ a whiter "band" across the top 25% of the display.I discovered that sometimes if I quickly hit the button on top while it was still flashing, I could "save it."I have videoed this (using my 3GS phone...now my wife's) a few times, and it also did it at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store last Friday (7/9) when I returned it. They saw it in-person, and watched one of my videos, and promptly gave me a replacement phone.However, the NEXT day, 7/10, my replacement iPhone 4 has started to do a similar thing...no "flashing/flickering", just goes to the "lighter black" screen. First occurred when trying to open the calendar. I contacted Tech support and spoke to someone at Apple for ~1 hour, who said there have been NO reported display issues from others, and thought it perhaps was due to a corrupt "Restore from backup" file. She suggested that I do a regular restore (not from backup), but I have hesitated to do so yet, instead looking/waiting to see if others have had this issue, as I don't want to lose contact, texting & calendar info.She also said it was not good to perform the "hard restart" (two button) function very much... I eventually have tried the "slide to power off" across the top of the black screen, and phone turned off and could restart with just the single (upper) button. So the phone is ON...just display isn't...I am an AVID iPhone user (have had the 2G, 3GS and now 4 model) for 2 1/2 years, and this won't make me "switch"...I just want it FIXED..!

Ringer not working iPhone 4S

When a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. When I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone.  I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula

iPhone 5 camera problem

I just bought my iphone 5 one month ago then i realise my camera was not functioning, It always stuck in black screen when i try open the camera apps. I found out there are actually many people who bought iphone 5 suffered this problem when i try to look for resolution online. I want to go for warranty but my phone got dent on it's appearance. Therefore, apple told me that my phone was unable to warranty. However, my purpose to warranty is to fix the camera instead of the dent on my phone. Can apple fix my camera problem? I really feel sad and regret for purchase the phone now because of the problem i am facing now.  Hopefully apple can give me a satisfied answer. iPhone 4 battery drain when powered off

Lately I've been turning off my phone and when I turn it back on battery is drained. Yesterday I turned it off at 80% and when I turned it back on 3 hours later it was at 62%. Then today I turned it off at 50% and when I turned it back on it was at 32%! Does anyone know why my iPhone is losing battery even when it's completely powered off? Hi all, yesterday I had two requirements from my iPhone 4 and none of them was fulfilled, so I decided that this is my last Apple device. If any of you can change my mind, go ahead a try. 1st, I wanted to copy a file (pdf) from my local drive at home and then open it in ezPDF Reader. So I used NetPortalLite to access my drive and downloaded the file inside the NetPortalLite. But when I wanted to move the file to ezPDF app it didn't let. Why it is so complicated to move files between apps? I have tried to copy in NetPortalLite, then paste in ezPDF Reader... it didn't work! 2nd, I wanted to access my local drive at home to run a video file. This function is available only in paid apps, although other mobile OS have this ability. Why it is not possible to browse local drives directly from the iOS or Safari? Is it so hard to implement this function to the iOS and make it available by SMB://IP_ADDRESS or \IP_ADDRESS? Thanks

How to remove Quota limit reached iPhone 3G

In my notes, everytime I edit a note, this notification pops up as "Quota - Quota limit reached." and then deletes the current note I'm editing. This is rather frustrating, because I do have some important notes and everytime I go to use it they get deleted after this notification pops up. I did go through my notes and delete a bunch, but there are less that 15 notes and as you can see in the photo this account has 3 and I've definitely had way more in the past. Does the Quota extend to other applications as well?Thanks for the input!

iPhone 5 camera issues

I'm having issues with the camera on my iphone 5 where it locks up when I try to open the camera app or the screen goes crazy with multi-coloured white noise or a portion of the screen is covered in a purple band usually vertically.Has anyone else had this issue and managed to resolve it.Apple support have said to restore the phone or wait for iOS updates. I've done both and got a new phone and had the same issues. Any help would be great fully received.

iPhone 4s Mail App using Gmail-Username or password for account incorrect

I recently changed my Gmail password for my Gmail account while on my desktop pc. Then on my iPhone 4s, I configured the Google app (for the first time) for my Gmail account. This worked fine. I went back to the default iPhone Mail app (in Settings) which was already configured with my Gmail account (and was previously working). I figured I would be prompted to change my password - which I was. But it wouldn't accept the change. So I then deleted the account and tried to set it up again. It still won't work. It continues to say the username or password for the account is incorrect.  Can you not have the same Gmail account configured in both places - the Mail app and the Google app? Thoughts?Thanks!Lori

iphone 5 camera not working

So i have my brand new iphone 5, since out of the box (2 days ago) the camera is not working, the camera app launches when i hit the camera icon but the shutter wont open, now if hit home button and then open camera again the shutter opens but the screen is black and i can't use any button on the camera app (auto flash, switch to front camera, etc.). Last night i read somewhere in this forums to turn off "Cellular Data" on the facetime setting, and it started working, until today when i got the same problem. i already restored it as new and it did nothing. Please Help.

iPhone 5 seizing randomly-unable to be used

I am not the most technically inclined, so please bear with me.  About two months ago, lines began showing up in Safari every now and again. They would go away, so I didn't think too much of it. Then one night, while in a game app, the screen began "flashing" like a strobelight. It couldn't exit the app fully, was blinking half the screen in the app, part of the home screen, etc. You cannot see throught the commotion to use the phone, if the programs can even open. This happened all evening, through the night, and the entire following day. Then it stopped.  It was fine when I took it to the AT&T store (the closest Apple store is 45 minutes away, so I wanted to be sure AT&T couldn't do anything for me) but by opening and closing programs and apps, I was able to force it to act up. Of course when I left the store, it worked fine again.  It was fine for a few days, acting up only a time or two, but I drove 45 minutes to the Apple store. My Genius Bar member told me it was software based and that I should restore the phone, download the software again, and manually add my media back on. After the four+ hours of downloading and 2+ hours of adding media, it was fine again. That was about two weeks ago. Now it's back.  I looked into the diagnostics (what I can see through the noise on the screen) and I have many different errors going on. Googling these errors codes is not providing much information, and again, I am not the best with this stuff.  SO:-Is a latestcrash.plist or mediaserverd.plist the same as a panic.plist code? In turn, if they are, will Apple replace the phone as they supposedly do in the case of panic.plist crashes? -I've noticed a bunch of the issues seem related to audio and video functions on the phone. I have AudioToolbox, CoreFoundation, and CoreQuartz codes, for example. Are these things that would justify a replacement? I am sitting through another 4 hour software download right now in order to restore the phone again, but am afraid to lose that diagnostics info, but also cannot see the screen to send any diagnostics info to Apple. Is this something that is software based? Does that mean I am going to be doing this every few weeks? The phone is only 6 months old, but I don't want to let it go and loet the one year manufacturer's warranty.  I apologize for being so verbose but I really cannot find anything online that sounds similar to what my phone is doing. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi all, I have a few Audiobooks which I listen to on my IPhone 3GS a lot and I put a couple more and last night I downloaded them and now they have an echo which it didnt before.  From what i have read I need to change the playback speed but from all the feedback I have seen online there is no icon on my phone at the bottom right corner I can touch to change it.  I have just about tried everything with no luck. PLEASE is there anyone that can help me. I have already lost these books once and have spent a lot of money getting them back.  I will very angry if I cant listen to this now. How I get my outgoing server to work on my Iphone 5

I bought my Iphone 5 from Apple when it was first available. I have had an ATT acount for many years along with an MSN email account. I have had issues with sending email from my IPhone 5 since I have recieved this phone. I have deleted and readded the email application numberous times(sometimes 10 times a day), I have reset my phone a number of times, I have also changed my email password a number of times and readded to both my incoming server and outgoing server passwords. I have spoken to ATT tech support, Apple Tech support and Msn tech support multiple times, they have not been able to help me. I sometimes have  gotten it to work for a few minutes to a couple of hours but as soon as I try to send an email from my phone again it will no longer send an email from my phone. I use my phone for work and this is very annoying as I have to use my email for work.I need help!  I have had Iphones since the first Iphone and Mac computers for over 10 years but I am now over it, at this point I would not recommend Iphones. I am now at the point of buying a phone that I can use and it will not be an Apple Iphone.

Restore iPhone 4s as NEW

My iPhone 4s has a bad operating system (confirmed at Apple Store)  I was given a new device and we restored my settings, etc. from backup.  I was warned that there was a possibility of the glitchy iOS being transferred to the new device.  Well after a couple weeks, this proved true.  Next step is to restore device as NEW.  Before I attempt this, I would like to be as prepared as possible to avoid losing anything permanantly.  I am looking for advice with this - since I won't be able to restore from a backup, will I need to create a new iCloud account?  Can I remove previous backups from both iTunes and iCloud?  Thanks in advance for any help! This has been an ongoing issue since I purchased the phone new in January and it's beyond frustrating!

My battery drains VERY quickly I'm having to plug in twice day iPhone 5

Hi Its becoming incresingly annoying that I'm having to charge my iPhone twice a day. Its always 100% at the start of the day and come around tea time its down to around 30%. I do use it for whatsapp but thats about it during the day and after having an iPhone 3 & 4 I've never experienced such issues. I was told the battery life was improved with the iPhone 5?  My main point is that its not always been like this and with having over a year left on my contract I need to nip this in the bud before it gets any worse. Things I have tried so far (To no avail) Closing all apps that are open.Lowered my screen brightness (I can only just see it)  Any suggestions as neither of the above two have worked. Cheers Gareth
