I'm thinking about upgrading to the iPhone 5 but I want to keep the gps locations where I take my photos (in the photos app, under places). Is there any way that I can transfer this information to an iPhone 5?

Not able to scroll down to file sharing iPhone 3G

I have downloaded ringtones, synced my iphone 5 to itunes, yet I still cannot scroll down to see file sharing.  What else can I try so I can transfer ringtones to my iphone?

My iPhone 5 won't stay powered down.

I am able to power down my iPhone 5, by sliding the red slider. But then about 30 seconds later, it powers back up by itself.  I've already done the Sleep/Snooze button and the Home button together for 10 seconds, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Take your time to write a thoughtful comment on a video, hit send, and it's gone, "youtube is not available". It happens frequently on the iphone app yet never happens on the desktop site. This bug has followed the youtube app across multiple phones (OG & 3G), multiple OS updates, and still happens randomly. Not having a feature is better than one that frequently doesn't work, and frustrates, as well as wastes your time...I'm so ready to checkout the latest from HTC  I copied this question from an archived thread from 2009. I'm having the same issue. I comment on YouTube a couple of times and it's fine, the third time it completely blocks me. It's very frustrating. Looking at the replies from 4 years ago it seems that its definitely the app that has the issue, not the main website. Ringer not working iPhone 4S

When a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. When I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone.  I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula

iPhone 4 battery drain when powered off

Lately I've been turning off my phone and when I turn it back on battery is drained. Yesterday I turned it off at 80% and when I turned it back on 3 hours later it was at 62%. Then today I turned it off at 50% and when I turned it back on it was at 32%! Does anyone know why my iPhone is losing battery even when it's completely powered off? Okay so first my iPhone 4s had a storage problem. So I bought an iPhone 5 and restored my old settings to the iPhone 5. Sadly that carried over the storage bug to my new phone. I went and reset all of the factory settings and started from scratch. I have now fixed my storage problem, but I made this a new iPhone, and did not restore from a back up this time. I set it up with the same phone number of course, expecting it to take in my contacts from my cell phone number. I sync everything, and my contacts are there. But they aren't MY contacts....they're my mom's.... So how can I get rid of her contacts and import mine. I tried turning off iCloud contacts and deleting them, and turning it back on. But its the same. Help!?

Hi This week my iphone 5 have been presenting an issue that i have never seen in the past and is just driving me crazy, the keyboard is just working bad, everytime I type something it just write another letter or the same letter more that once, becoming very hard to tYpe somethung.. at the same time the screen moves a little bit when i write something.. and in general the phone have a bad funcionality.. its very weird, is the second timI in two days it happens... Battery life-iphone 4

Well I tried turning off the Bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity.  After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours.  I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iPhone 4 battery?  My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.

My mom passed me her phone as she couldn't get it to restart.  I got it to charge and restart in recovery mode.  However, I've tried all steps on this and many other forums and it is stuck in "trying to restore".  On the phone, it will blink a white screen, show the apple logo and a progress bar then quickly disappear then on the computer give me error code 9.  I have tried 3 different cords, on both my MacBook Air and my iMac.  Same results on both computers.  She purchased a new phone as she couldn't do without, but would love to fix this phone and give to one of my children.  This phone has not been jailbroken.  Any help would be sooooo appreciated!  Not sure what will happen if I try to take this to Apple.

Okay. So this was what happened: I was updating my iTunes library to the latest version. All of a sudden, my netbook crashed and eventually was hanging. So I removed the battery and restarted my netbook. I later found out, my iTunes got deleted. I didnt panic at first since I deliberately deleted my iTunes before and reinstalled it again finding all my files back in the iTunes. But this time, when I reinstalled it, all my files were gone! With this situation, can I transfer all my current files from my iPhone to my new iTunes library? Iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car

My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta).  Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck?  I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.

transfer photos back and forth to OS X WITHOUT iPhoto or iTunes iPhone 3G

I googled to no end, searched Apple support forums endlessly and you know what? Not a single simple answer can seem to be given without being redirected to something that simply does not answer THIS very specific question. Is it, or is it not possible to quickly transfer photos DIRECTLY *FROM* and *INTO* the Camera Roll WITHOUT iTunes or iPhoto? Simple question yes? lol. NOPE. Reason why I ask can be simply described in short: iTunes 11.0.2, running iPhone iOS 6.1; Clicking "Photos" from my iPhone via iTunes, gives me ONE single option; "Sync photos from". Tried keeping it real simple. Make a folder on the desktop called iPhone Photos just for quickly transfering photos back and forth and chose to synch from that. 18 photos to test. Just crap from the internet. Nothing major. Know what it does? For one, it takes 3 minutes or so to sync 18 whole photos, which is stupid but whatever. But here's the BEST part, none get sent to my Camera Roll, oh no, it makes TWO entirely new folders under it in my iPhone. One being the one I made on my desktop, and the other is called Photo Library, and get this, BOTH of these have the same 18 pictures lmao. Yup. Why? Oh who cares at this point. I really just do not care. Apple. All that needs to be said. And as for iPhoto. It's just an unnecessary useless program I have no intentions of ever needing. Why? I keep a crap load of various types of photos in organized folders in my Finder, and iPhoto likes making sure it takes 3x longer to do that. It really just does.  Now back on point. What happened to the good old friggin days when all you had to do was DRAG AND DROP?!?!?! I legitimately am getting cancer from pondering this question.  Is there not a way to simply drag from Camera Roll somehow to the iMac, like say a specified folder. And Vice Versa from the iMac straight to Camera Roll? A nice workaround to get FROM Camera Roll TO iMac specified folder is "Image Capture" which does exactly just THAT. Quickly and painlessly transfer STRAIGHT FROM AND TO wherever. This is ridiculous. At this point, I'd pay 50 bucks for a simple app to quickly drag and drop from and to Camera Roll and bam. Done.  Sorry for the book, but this is getting ******** trying to get an answer to this and thought I would deem it necessary to be as descriptive as humanly possible.  Looking for simple answers if possible, but at least descriptive. Thanks.
