I want to delete other off my phone iPhone 4S

It has come to my attention the there is more space that is being taken up on my phone by "other" than the amount of space that I'm actually using. It is taking 6.01 GB of my space and I'm getting sick and tired of having my phone tell me I don't have enough space when I try to take a picture or video. I have tried to restore my phone quite a few times and iTunes will not let me restore. Everything on my computer is up to date, it won't restore when I put it in recovery mode and it just won't let me restore. I have backed up my phone and when I finish, I click restore and every single time I get an error. There is no number that comes with the error. I am starting to get ****** of because the "other" is taking up almost half of my space on my phone. Thank you for any help that you provide.

My iphone 4 powered off by itself while i was using it. I know it didnt go dead, becuause it had 40% battery left, It will not charge, and my lock button is broken. It will not come on at all when i plug in the charger. Can someone please help and tell me if there is anyway i can power it back on myself?

all my devices connect to my wifi but my iphone doesnt even show network

my iphone will not connect to wifi..it sometime will but 99% of the time it will not..i can be sitting right beside my router..my bf iphone and my mothers and my laptop will all connect..what can i do?

My iPhone 5 won't stay powered down.

I am able to power down my iPhone 5, by sliding the red slider. But then about 30 seconds later, it powers back up by itself.  I've already done the Sleep/Snooze button and the Home button together for 10 seconds, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Crashing and screen flickering problems. iPhone 4

I too have had the "flickering/flashing" screen problem...I received my first iPhone 4 on release day (6/24); had no display issues until 3 days later, on 6/27. First occurred while on call in car; phone continued to work but display was black; had to do the two-button "hard restart" method to reboot phone. I was away on vacation for a week (not near an Apple Store), and phone continued to have this issue at least once/day. It could be on any screen or app...had it occur on calendar, a game, the home screen, etc. It would begin flashing ~8 times, then go to a "lit up black" (not off but slightly and evenly lit up black). Sometimes it would be 75% black, w/ a whiter "band" across the top 25% of the display.I discovered that sometimes if I quickly hit the button on top while it was still flashing, I could "save it."I have videoed this (using my 3GS phone...now my wife's) a few times, and it also did it at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store last Friday (7/9) when I returned it. They saw it in-person, and watched one of my videos, and promptly gave me a replacement phone.However, the NEXT day, 7/10, my replacement iPhone 4 has started to do a similar thing...no "flashing/flickering", just goes to the "lighter black" screen. First occurred when trying to open the calendar. I contacted Tech support and spoke to someone at Apple for ~1 hour, who said there have been NO reported display issues from others, and thought it perhaps was due to a corrupt "Restore from backup" file. She suggested that I do a regular restore (not from backup), but I have hesitated to do so yet, instead looking/waiting to see if others have had this issue, as I don't want to lose contact, texting & calendar info.She also said it was not good to perform the "hard restart" (two button) function very much... I eventually have tried the "slide to power off" across the top of the black screen, and phone turned off and could restart with just the single (upper) button. So the phone is ON...just display isn't...I am an AVID iPhone user (have had the 2G, 3GS and now 4 model) for 2 1/2 years, and this won't make me "switch"...I just want it FIXED..!

Ringer not working iPhone 4S

When a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. When I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone.  I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula

iPhone 4 battery drain when powered off

Lately I've been turning off my phone and when I turn it back on battery is drained. Yesterday I turned it off at 80% and when I turned it back on 3 hours later it was at 62%. Then today I turned it off at 50% and when I turned it back on it was at 32%! Does anyone know why my iPhone is losing battery even when it's completely powered off? I feel like it shouldn't be losing any battery at all

Wifi greyed out on Iphone 4s

All of a sudden I lost my wifi signal....Checked out the settings and the WiFi is off and unable to turn it back on....i have powered down the phone...i have done a full restore and the wifi switched remains greyed out....any suggestions?

Google maps App Issue Blue Tooth for GMC Acadia- iPhone 5

I'm having an issue with the our blue tooth which is paired with our GMC Acadia.  It's works fine with the exception of each time it gives directions vocally it repeats "Call Ended" through the stereo system.....   It does this every single time the App gives vocal instructions. Apple Maps - No problem although I need to be connected via USB which the vehicle has.  Apple Maps is fine so I'm not sure why all the Hype about Google Maps for iOS. I am just courious if anyone has come across this issue with the Google Maps for iOS in a vehicle.

iTunes won t download music to iPhone 4

When I buy a song on my iTunes throught my iPhone 4 it shows its downloading then goes to finish and says: unable to download this song, could not be downloaded at this time then let's me either select retry or done, I click retry and it comes up with the same message, and this is every single song I try to download not a few ALL of them... Every week for the last month I have tried to get it to work and it won't, I even checked my usage on my phone and I still have 3G space

Multiple iPhone 4S issues continuing

I am tired of my iPhone 4S already after suffering through issues upon issues with the device. My screen is having issues now where at a moment's chance it goes dim. I have to reset the device to get the brightness back to normal. I've tried restoring without any luck of this resolving. Another gripe I have is that I'm continuing to have issues with apps like Mail, Safari, and other Apple installed apps just continuously force closing. I've been sending emails back and forth on my iPhone only to have Mail force close and I lose everything in my message. The phone acts sluggish and performs worse than previous 4S devices I've owned. I've had issues upon issues across multiple iPhone 4S devices. The device I have currently is my 5th iPhone 4S and even tho its less than a few months old after it was sent to me after multiple filler iPhones of refurb models from the store, I continue to experience issues that make me use my iPhone less and less as it becomes more unreliable with the crashes and multiple restores. My closest store is not within close distance so that's made owning an iPhone with issues difficult as not every thread on the communities forum touch on half the problems I continue to have. Thankfully at least Siri knows where I'm located compared to my other devices where she always thought I was in Pittsburgh where I picked the phone up at my nearest store over an hour and a half away. Now everything just seems to be more of a deficiency with iOS and the hardware than anything. Obviously there must be something wrong with the latest stocks of 4S devices if my issues are continuing. When I restore I'm always setting up as a new device. I'm never downloading or redownloading anything from my Mac or PC. Everything is just redownloading apps from iCloud within the App Store and having a ton of missing photos in my photo stream. I just don't understand what is wrong with my iPhone. I never experienced these kind of issues with my iPhone 3GS so its hard to swallow how terrible the 4S has performed with every single device I keep getting. I'm at a loss on what I can do. Does anyone have any tips I should try that Apple hasn't provided me with to fix or at least band-aid the issue long enough till I can upgrade with my carrier?

She took the phone to the carrier and they told my friend that this case is off warranty and she needs to pay for it!!! the phone itself didn't have a single scratch!!! Can anyone help me please? Battery life-iphone 4

Well I tried turning off the Bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity.  After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours.  I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iPhone 4 battery?  My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.

What happens when you follow all steps in this article but your 4s repeatedly gives you an error code 9 and you've changed cords AND computers and nothing working

My mom passed me her phone as she couldn't get it to restart.  I got it to charge and restart in recovery mode.  However, I've tried all steps on this and many other forums and it is stuck in "trying to restore".  On the phone, it will blink a white screen, show the apple logo and a progress bar then quickly disappear then on the computer give me error code 9.  I have tried 3 different cords, on both my MacBook Air and my iMac.  Same results on both computers.  She purchased a new phone as she couldn't do without, but would love to fix this phone and give to one of my children.  This phone has not been jailbroken.  Any help would be sooooo appreciated!  Not sure what will happen if I try to take this to Apple.

Can't hear just one person through my iPhone 4

Okay, so lets see if this works. So I've had my iphone 4 for about a year and a half, I've never really had issues beside the normal glitching and having calls drop here and there. Recently I've had an issue with my iphone connecting with just one individual. Yes, I know it sounds weird but keep reading. I have been able to make calls and recieve phone calls fine, however I cannot with just one single individual. They to also only have the same problem with me, however the only difference is they can hear me but I cant hear them or anything. We're able to text and send picture messages without any issues. Now sometimes when I try to call them, itll ring twice and then the line just goes dead, but thats usually them picking it up. I cannnot hear them at all. I've already done the reset on my phone and I've already contacted apple about this issue and their about as lost as I am because it doesnt make sense that this is only happening with one individual. I've also blew out the speakers and such like people have suggested. I use my head phones that came with my speaker, and ive connected and reconnected them incase my iphone thought they were plugged in.  Let me give you a little bit more info. They have an android phone, we have the same carrier which is verizon and they live in another state (not sure if thats helpful). I'm completely lost because this has been going on for about 4 days now and its driving me crazy. This happened a few weeks ago, however it magically fixed its self ( im thinking it was because I had bad service). If anyone has any solutions that might help, please, please let me know.

iPhone 5 battery drain

I got an iPhone 5 on Friday and the battery *****. I've read every single forum, done everything, reset all settings, drained battery to 0 and then back up, even restarted to factory settings, turned off push, limited notifications, every thing every forum has told me to do. I even went to apple and they were no help at all, telling me my battery was normal. I don't think sleeping with 100% and waking up with 75% is normal, or getting 2 hours if limited use from my phone throughout the day. I have no idea what to do and I'm getting so tired of this. I did not pay 1000$ and wait 5 months for this. I really expected so much more. Someone help me, and give me a right answer, to help me fix this. Seriously getting so ******. Iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car

My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta).  Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck?  I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.

Iphone 4 Activation problem

hello everyone i just got my mothers old Iphone 4s(believe it is a 4s rather then just a 4) and i called into orange (UK carrier) and i got the sim i called an activated it all fine put sim in phone try to activate the phone, and it won't let me keeps telling me my sim is invalid anyone know how to fix this, they did say that i would get texts about the sim over the next 12 hours and it would take a little time for it change from my old phone but my old phone is already saying no service which means it's been transfered over

Loose and cracked home button on iPhone 5

So I've had my iPhone 5 for a few months now and today I noticed that there is a small crack on the home button within the little white square. Also perhaps as a result of this the button feels somewhat loose and makes a clicking noise when I touch the button without actually pressing it. I have previously dropped my phone but that was a while back and it was fine then. It still functions properly but after comparing it with my brothers iPhone 5 there's is definitely a noticeable difference with the home button as mine has sunk in a bit and doesn't sit flush with the housing. It's obviously still within warranty and I don't want to pay for a replacement so will Apple repair the home button if I take it to them?

Transfer photos back and forth to OS X WITHOUT iPhoto or iTunes iPhone 3G

I googled to no end, searched Apple support forums endlessly and you know what? Not a single simple answer can seem to be given without being redirected to something that simply does not answer THIS very specific question. Is it, or is it not possible to quickly transfer photos DIRECTLY *FROM* and *INTO* the Camera Roll WITHOUT iTunes or iPhoto? Simple question yes? lol. NOPE. Reason why I ask can be simply described in short: iTunes 11.0.2, running iPhone iOS 6.1; Clicking "Photos" from my iPhone via iTunes, gives me ONE single option; "Sync photos from". Tried keeping it real simple. Make a folder on the desktop called iPhone Photos just for quickly transfering photos back and forth and chose to synch from that. 18 photos to test. Just crap from the internet. Nothing major. Know what it does? For one, it takes 3 minutes or so to sync 18 whole photos, which is stupid but whatever. But here's the BEST part, none get sent to my Camera Roll, oh no, it makes TWO entirely new folders under it in my iPhone. One being the one I made on my desktop, and the other is called Photo Library, and get this, BOTH of these have the same 18 pictures lmao. Yup. Why? Oh who cares at this point. I really just do not care. Apple. All that needs to be said. And as for iPhoto. It's just an unnecessary useless program I have no intentions of ever needing. Why? I keep a crap load of various types of photos in organized folders in my Finder, and iPhoto likes making sure it takes 3x longer to do that. It really just does.  Now back on point. What happened to the good old friggin days when all you had to do was DRAG AND DROP?!?!?! I legitimately am getting cancer from pondering this question.  Is there not a way to simply drag from Camera Roll somehow to the iMac, like say a specified folder. And Vice Versa from the iMac straight to Camera Roll? A nice workaround to get FROM Camera Roll TO iMac specified folder is "Image Capture" which does exactly just THAT. Quickly and painlessly transfer STRAIGHT FROM AND TO wherever. This is ridiculous. At this point, I'd pay 50 bucks for a simple app to quickly drag and drop from and to Camera Roll and bam. Done.  Sorry for the book, but this is getting ******** trying to get an answer to this and thought I would deem it necessary to be as descriptive as humanly possible.  Looking for simple answers if possible, but at least descriptive. iMessage not working with one single contact iPhone 5

My iPhone has stopped sending iMessages to one singular contact. Before today we have been using iMessage to communicate regularly. This is the only contact that iMessage does to not work with on my phone and on his he can iMessage me but I don't receive these messages. Also in group chats we can no longer communicate due to this issue.

iPhone 5 eBay and certain websites won't work unless on WiFi.

As the subject says, my iPhone 5 software 6.1.3 has been acting weird, beyond a constant battery drain, recently I have noticed that my eBay app will not work/connect unless I am on WiFi.  It's also the same for some websites on Safari, one being www.tfw2005.com (a transformers fan site I always go to).  I just noticed this the other day.  I've tried resetting my networking settings, hard-reset, deleting the app and reinstalling and nothing.  I'm not sure why it would single out that one website either.  I get the N1 error can't connect after trying to use the eBay app and TFW site.  Any suggestions?

Iphone 4 IOS 6.1.3 multiple problems. need help

Dear Friends, I hope apple is looking into the posts by customers. I was browsing through the forum and found single threads of issues. I think I am facing all in one and look forward for people who are facing similar issues. I have a iphone 4 on AT&T. everything was working great till 6.0 & problems since I upgraded to 6.1. Since then it has been quite unstable. below are some of the issues I am facing... 1. Phone sometimes goes unresponsive or very slow response for some apps [ action took..cleared all apps restarted/rebooted..no use]2. The signal strength has considerably dropped from before and sometimes says no service. Before I had atleast some good signal strength near my home.3. The battery drain issue..sometimes I feel the battery on usage makes the phone go hot. 4. As soon I unplug from the power, the phone drops couple of %'s over 10 min even without usage or very slight usage.5. The worst of all..sometimes the phone access 3g even when there is WIFI..it takes sometime to realize there is wifi..but all the time I think is using 3G to start off or completely on 3g all the times. I restarted the phone couple of times but no luck. I never had this problem before 6.1.  If any one have solutions or geniuses on solving at the least the priority one's let me know. limit on amount of phone numbers allowed in Group MMS iPhone 5

I have tried searching online and could not find the answer to my issue, and have had no luck. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.3 software which says on my phone that it is up to date.I recently have been using Group MMS to send out the same text to multiple people at once. It's great and all, but it will only allow me to add a total of 10 phone numbers to one group. If I try to type in an 11th person, that phone number disappears when I begin to type the text message.  I've been messing with it today and talked to another iPhone users and was told they have not had this problem with sending to more than ten phone numbers themselves.  I was wondering if there is a setting in the phone I need to change, is there some limit to the phone numbers allowed in a single Group MMS, is it a problem with the phone itself, etc.?   Thanks!

iPhone 4s not charging

My iPhone 4s is not charging.  Last few days it was eating up the battery life quicker than usual.  Tried doing all the power up deals, turning off then on, even a restore.  It is now completely powered off and not turning on even when plugged in.  I'm out of ideas.  A little help please!Thanks

We have been having trouble with our iPhone 4. It will just die. I researched the web and was able to find the information to restart it by pushing both buttons. This resets it, but does not last. I did a complete reset on the phone then updated it, but it continues to turn off and has to be restarted. It is out of warranty, any help would be great.

New Podcasts app-now no speed control iPhone 3G

This morning, I updated to the newest Podcast app (version 1.2.1), as well as the newest iOS version (6.1.3). Now my Podcasts app doesn't have speed control! I read a review online that said it's supposed to look like this: But instead, mine looks like this, without all the features at the top:  Am I missing something? Is there a way to customize it to show all those things at the top? Or did the new updates break something? Please help, since the speed option is the single most useful feature of Podcasts! Thanks

iPhone 5 LCD assembly separating from device

So my wife bought an iPhone 5 64g and also purchased a mophie juice pack case/battery. last night (3/23/13) she is sitting in a lawn chair and accidently lets the phone slide from her lap to the floor.  the device probably fell a total of 12-18" and landed on the case portion (not flat faced). the LCD assembly (digitizer and all) came away from the housing completely. it was only connected by the ribbons/cables that provide power to the assembly. i work in the cellular industry and have dealt with iPhones for a while now and have never seen this happen before.  the glass is not broken in any way. it appears as if any adhesive or clamping components used for the assembly simply failed. my concern is that if i go to the apple store for a replacement, am i going to get a hard time from some one at the "genius bar" claiming we abused or whatever the device? has any one experienced this or have any information regarding something similar? Message was edited by: darkgodz - edited to show correct parts.

Is there any e-mail that i can contact with apple customer service directly ? Because here in greece cosmote is destroying apple's name . I went for a service there 1 and a half month ago and by that time i had my iphone 5 only for four days , and the problem was with the chipset . They didn't give me a new one and i waited for 3 weeks until it finally came back and they told me that they changed the whole chipset !!!! Now i have a big problem with crashes and tune on/off without touching it . As you can see i am very disappointed . So plz any help is welcome .  Thank you!! ( i have every single one of iphones .)

I just started to get a SIM Failure Pop up on my iphone 5on Thursday while traveling and using Maps fornavigation. I cannot seem to remove or repair this error.I have gone to yoru support page and followedinstructions on how to reset network.I first tried to send a text and failure came up. Then resetnetwork and text went through, but pop up still came upwith Sim Failure every time I turn my phone on.I also followed instructions to remove Sim Card whenturned off and Reinserted it and that did not work either.What do I do? Gamecenter error connecting to online services on call of duty black ops zombies for iOS. iPhone 3G

So I got this new app 3 months ago called Black ops call of duty : zombies. And I LOVE it!! But every time I try to join an online game, wether it be map vote, single map, 2-4 players, restarting my phone... What happens is it takes me to the gamecenter connect page, where it connects me with another player, but after a few seconds, it takes me into the multiplayer lobby, and then pulls up a message saying "connecting to online services" and it does that for a minute before saying "error joining room" and makes me quit the online game, leaving the other person kicked off the server because the other person (me) left or was kicked, I do NOT want to jailbreak my iPhone for this problem, and I am very experienced with iPhones and other electronics, both apple and Microsoft, if there is anyone who knows how I can fix this problem WITHOUT jail breaking my phone or paying money.. (Maybe ill pay money, it depends...) then Please tell me! It has done this to me EVERYTIME for the past 3 months, and still does... So please help!

My camera not working on iphone 4s

I have recently bought IPhone 4s and the camera on my Iphone is not working as soon as i click picture on my Iphone it automatically shuts down the app and no photo is saved on the album. iPhone 4 only charges using official apple charger

iPhone 4 (GSM) only charged using the official apple certified cable. Generic brand cables might charge for about a half of a second and then would stop working. Some great person was nice enough to steal my charger for my iPhone, so now I have no way of charging it. Not a single cable, even cables that I have tested on other devices, will charge my iPhone.

Vertical Grey lines iPhone 5

I dropped my iPhone from waist height flat onto the back (I have a zoogue case on it), and now grey vertical lines appear down the left side of the screen. I have powered off holding the home/power button, but nothing changed. I can't swipe to unlock it, so I can't type in my password in order to back it up over the cloud/my computer before resetting it. Has this happened to anyone? Suggestions? Home fixes? Or am I helpless?

iPhone 5 Battery Data usage issues

Here's my journey. I had the iPhone 5 from the day it was realeased. Was with Vodafone Australia. Phone was awesome. Coverage was an issue, so decided to swap to Telstra recently. Got new iPhone 5 with the change over. From the beginning, the new Iphone on Telstra, the battery was draining completely in less than 3 hours. Looked at the support communities and spoke to Apple. I made the mistake of setting the phone up from a "BackUp". They suggested setting it up as a "new phone" in iTunes. Did that - phone had been awesome until 4 days ago when I decided to "Update All" of the pending App updates. After all was downloaded the phone returned to its draining self, also becomign VERY VERY HOT when charging. Warmer than normal. Also got a SMS from Telstra to say I have used 82% of my download entitlement. With 22 days remaining!!!! Something wasnt right, not only was it using the battery life, cellular data usage was being drained also. Spoke to Apple, they told me I would need to do a process of elimination to find the "corrupt" app that was draining the Battery & Data.  I deleted every single App I had on the phone, yet it made no difference. I started to monitor the cellular data recieved on the phone. With no apps and nothing running, how is there data and battery being drained. Decided yesterday to"RESTORE" iPhone once again. Set up as a new phone. I had loaded my email settings, but nothing else. I hadnt even provided my Apple ID infomation so the App Store wasnt logged in. Phone was still not right. Played with some settings, decided to turn my "Exchange" email from "PUSH" to "Manually Fetch".  After this, the phone was back to normal. No cellular data being downloaded and battery OK. Turned Exchanged back to PUSH, then the battery decides to trickle away again. After all this ********, I have narrowed it down to the way my exhcnage server checks for new messages. I have ALWAYS had my Exchange server PUSH emails to me. Why with this phone, on 6.1 should I have to have it to Manually check for emails. I get the feeling from conversations with other people, there seems to be alot of unknown data usage which Apple need to make a priority in preventing. This is costing consumers time and money. Curious if anyone else has had same issue?

Iphone 4S will not allow WiFi to be turned ON

Hello Apple Commuinty, Recently my partners iphone will not let her to connect to WiFi as On/Off selection under WiFi is greyed out. We have tried all info shown in article TS1559 and still no joy. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,Mike

IPhone 4S stopped reading S card after 6 months

I have iPhone 4S it has a H2o SIM card that's worked for about 6 months no problem then one day it said SIM card failure I powered phone on/off once and started working again. Two weeks later it took 3-4 times of me cycling power on/off and removing SIM card and reinstalling it in order to get it to work. Then a week later it did same thing but took even longer. Now it won't read at all and I thought it was SIM card so I went and bought a new SIM card but no change, I looked online for help and even tried to put tape on tray/card like someone said but no change(if I even putting the tape in right place. I tried several different ways) Nothing seems to work. My phone was manufactured between 19-25 of March 2012 so hopefully I can get warranty but not original owner so not sure. Does anyone have any idea what can cause this? Why hasn't Apple fixed this problem since its been happening for a long time

What refurbished iPhone 5 like

I have an iPhone 5 32gb black and slate and today after accidently dropping it there is a large crack from the middle button upwards. I have booked an appointment on Sunday at the Genius Bar at Chermside Apple Store. My question is will I get a refurb model? If so can someone who had owned a refurbished model tell me what they are like, are the rubbish? Have problems? Scratches or damage? And what do they come with? I'm Apple OCD and hate having a single mark or damage on my Apple Products .

Verizon iPhone 5-UNLOCKED

There is an article today indicated that the Associated Press has discovered that the iPhone 5 from Verizon Wireless is unlocked and will work with an AT&T sim on the AT&T Network.  The article did not state if the phone will also work on other networks.  A Verizon spokesperson has verified that indeed their version of the iPhone 5 is unlocked.

iPhone 5 App store Shows Updates 4 but won t show which apps to update

FYI guys. I powered down my phone for a couple hours, then went back to the App Store. It had a fifth update, but this time it allowed me to complete my updates. Dunno if that helps you guys.

I lost my iphone 4S recently. I cannot contact my number and also cannot access it through icloud find my phone utility. Are other methods to find it as it stated as smartest phone available

As stated, iphone4S is the smartest phone available. I lost my iphone4S recently and the person who took it, immediately powered it off. I signed in icloud and put my phone in stollen mode using Find My Phone utility which is still pending. I got the sim blocked and reported to police. They will deal it in their own way. My question is: are there other methods to trace my phone?

iphone 5 screen suddenly turned off

Im a iphone5 user, also I am using the IOS 6.1 system.but nowadays I am facing to a terrible problem.The phone suddenly powered off when I open a app on the phone,and the screen become black slowly, and then the white apple come here. after that,sometimes it may become good. but the problem is still exist.

iOS 6.1.1 update failed nothing new with this 4S

This is getting very old. Each and every software update I have done since buying my iPhone 4s about 10 months ago has resulted in "iPhone could not be updated. an error occurred" Today's attempt to update to 6.1.1 resulted in this message with (6) as the code (past update fails have resulted in other codes). My phone is now stuck with a black screen with the picture of the usb plug with an arrow pointed to iTunes (recovery mode). I love my iPhone, but the love is growing dim, since eery single iOS update has caused a similar error, each time requiring a completely reset of the phone, setup as new, restore - which get my apps back, but resets all settings (including email accounts). Yes, I synced the phone prior to trying to update. At this point, my apparent only avenue is yet another "restore" - a royal pain, and what should be totally unnecessary for a tiny incremental update (iOS 6.1 to 6.11). And yes, I was experiencing what I believe was the issue this update was to correct - cellular data issues (and actually - intermittent WiFi issues as well). What ever happened to Apple... it just works?   And no, this iPhone has never been jailbroken (I have been asked). Next time there is an update available - maybe I should head to the Apple Store and hand it to a "genius" an tell him to update it...

why my LED light not turn off iPhone 4

A few days ago, the LED light came on and won't turn off - not even when powered down.  I do not have any flashlight apps or anything that uses it other than the camera, what should I do?
