Why Apple doesn't change my iphone in Argentina Why have I to go USA for change iPhone 4S
On febraury I bought an Iphone 4S but now the wifi doesn't work, this is a common problem in the Iphone, but now I am in Argentina and in my country there isn't any place where repair my telephone. I called to Apple to tech support and they told me they could not assist me because they only assist people from Mexico and Canada, and that I had to speak to an authorized service center in Argentina, so I went to the place they told me, in that place I say they can not sorting the problem, that the only solution is to travel to USA to change.Because they tell me that if in legal terms of the warranty states that if Apple so you can make changes determined through some mail? Why not give me that option? I have the right to use my iPhone in its 100%, the truth that without wifi and bluetooth is how to use it by 50%.Any recommendations?

My iphone 4 powered off by itself while i was using it. I know it didnt go dead, becuause it had 40% battery left, It will not charge, and my lock button is broken. Iphone 5 unlocked Amazon Very Problem
Good night;guys, I have a problem and would like some help:I bought it on Amazon, 1 Iphone 5 Unlocked, factory unlocked. The device functioned normally and after an update, it did not take over my chip and says the device is locked (is asking to put a valid chip). After several attempts, I got in touch with the Apple of my country (Brazil), and to my surprise, the search for the serial device, they reported that the device is locked by Sprint and manufactures do not accept support or exchange (The unit has 1 month bought with full price in amazon), telling me to settle with Amazon. I insisted informing them that the unit was purchased unlocked and they also reported that this device is aimed at the European market, it works with CDMA and GSM and Apple Brazil suporPelas just the research I have done and talking to some people, I passed the information that Sprint can easily inform this code (or Imei) not sure which unlocks the device again, but have no information on how to get or do that. I contacted Amazon stating what happened and I'm waiting for a position within it, is to send the code or return the handset. My model is the A1429. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to help? Eu comprei o aparelho desbloqueado, pagando mais caro e é justo que possa utilizar ele onde quiser. Entrei em contato com a Amazon informando o ocorrido e estou aguardando uma posição deles, seja para envio do código ou retorno do aparelho. Meu modelo é o A1429. my iPhone 4 Genuinely NEW or Refurbished Please HELP
#I just received my BRAND NEW, SEALED, iPhone4 32 GB FACTORY UNLOCKED which I bought from Ebay. After unboxing, I switched on the phone to find that it was already activated, and did NOT show the "Connect to iTunes" screen, which gave me doubts whether this phone is actually brand new, the phone does have that protective film on the front and back which normally comes with brand new iPhones, anyhow I went online and did some intense research and found interesting facts about the serial number, and from my understanding the phones with serial numbers starting with 5K could be a refurbished phone, and indeed my supposedly BRAND NEW iPhone which came in a sealed retail box with all accessories does have a 5K serial number, so I did some more googling and came across a web site which gives details about an iPhone with its serial number and it shows this phone is a refurbished one. I checked on Apple website for warranty and it says "We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contactus." #Now all you good knowledgeable people out there, please please shed some light on this matter.Is this really a genuine brand new phone? When I contacted the seller regarding the phone being already activated, he said it is normal with phones which are factory unlocked. But I believe it is actually supposed to show - “Connect to iTunes” screen. That was how it was with my iPhone 3G. At least right out of a brand new box. Am I correct? How can a refurbished iPhone come in a sealed retail box? Even if that was the case, would it cost the same as a normal brand new FACTORY UNLOCKED iPhone because I paid US $ 904.00 for this. Does Apple sell refurbished iPhones as new? What confuse me is that the box have all the labels intact as it was a sealed box, and the serial number and IMEI number match with the actual phone. Should I consider this a genuine product that Apple meant to sell as it is or better I go for a claim and either get a refund or replacement from the seller on Ebay?. URGENT HELP iPhone 4S
Last night i went on my phone to make a phone call but all my contacts were somehow deleted i tried turning off my iphone and then turning it on but still had the same problem. I dont know what to do i had icloud but never used the backup for it infact i had not signed in to it till the next day. I somehow managed to get a few of my contacts back through my messages. There were many important numbers in there. To top it off the most important thing to me was all my information on my calender list like my appointments, and many other important events. I do not know hot to retreive it if anyone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you
My iPhone 5 won't stay powered down.
I am able to power down my iPhone 5, by sliding the red slider. But then about 30 seconds later, it powers back up by itself. I've already done the Sleep/Snooze button and the Home button together for 10 seconds, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Today I completed a software update for my iPhone 5 without backing it up because I did not receive a warning that all my data would be erased and so, did not realize it would be an issue. Upon completing the update, I realized my mistake but figured it was too late to revert the damage and continued with the restoration of my phone to its factory settings. After completing the update, I realized just how much data was lost (including important notes with financial information and images and videos of recent trips around Europe). Now I am desperate to try to recover the data deleted in the update. Is there any chance at all that I can recover something? The notes and videos are most important to me. I am also missing many Messages but that is less important to me. Can anyone please help? Any response is greatly appreciated!
Ringer not working iPhone 4S
When a call or text is coming throug there is no sound. The settings seem fine. When I switch the side button to red nothing happens. What used to happen would be the bell sign would come up with a line through it indicating the ringer was switched off but now nothing happens whichever way I switch it. Vibrate is switched on in settings but it isn't vibrating either. Interestingly the alarm is working so the sounds are not completely gone. I have powered it off an back on etc., but it hasn't made any difference. Any advice. Thanks Paula
iPhone 4s stuck in recovery mode. Error code-1 .
I recently bought my iPhone 4s from a guy (who bought it from someone else). He sold it to me pretty cheap because when he bought it, one of his friends tried to restore it for him and it got stuck in recovery mode. I have no idea if the phone has ever been "tampered with" or not. He didn't seem to know much about it (said it was his first smartphone) and I thought I might have a chance of fixing it. I'm starting to lose faith in that...I've tried almost everything I can find. I know there are tricks for this all over the internet and I've tried almost all of them. TinyUmbrella does nothing, Redsn0w won't even install on my computer (frustrating!). Trying to restore from iTunes is useless. It gets to about 90% then comes up with error code (-1) and gives up. I've tried that route probably 20 times with no change. I know I could take it into Apple and they could look at it, but I have no information on the phone itself. I cannot get the serial number. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I'll try anything that doesn't require me taking it to Apple and getting charged more than I paid for the phone to fix it....I run Windows 7. Thanks so much!
iOS 6.1.4 Battery Drain We need FIX APPLE iPhone 5
I have lost count of how many times I have been away from my office, looked down at my phone, saw anywhere between 10-30% battery life, and then a few minutes later have my phone go into shutdown mode. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS and it needs to be fixed now! Has anyone from Apple responded to this? Any kind of timeline in place for 6.1.5? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Folks, I am getting confusing information from various sources.According to the service I am using for factory unlocking my Iphone 5, as soon as I unlock my phone I will be able to use it on all GSM networks, except the original ATT. This is contrary to all the previous unlocks I have ever done on any phone. What is the reason why my phone will no longer work on ATT, if true? Can APPLE or ATT help me get it back on ATT network once I no longer need to use it overseas? Thank you for your help.

iPhone 4 battery drain when powered off
Lately I've been turning off my phone and when I turn it back on battery is drained. Yesterday I turned it off at 80% and when I turned it back on 3 hours later it was at 62%. Then today I turned it off at 50% and when I turned it back on it was at 32%! Does anyone know why my iPhone is losing battery even when it's completely powered off? I feel like it shouldn't be losing any battery at all

Okay heres the deal, I got a new iPhone two days ago and yesterday it was causing problems so when I called to get it fixed they made me back it up to my iCloud but they made me set it up as a new phone. I attempted to get the phone replaced by AT&T since it is within their 14-day Return/Exchange policy, but of course they denied me based on it being a "technical" issue and therefore a problem I need to take up with Apple. Wifi greyed out on Iphone 4s
All of a sudden I lost my wifi signal....Checked out the settings and the WiFi is off and unable to turn it back on....i have powered down the phone...i have done a full restore and the wifi switched remains greyed out....any suggestions?

There was a wrong buy , an app called mobile selling platform. For travel agents to do their flight booking thro ipad . . This happened by mistake , as normally when u download any app it would ask for the password , but some how this time it did not and the down loaded happened . I tried stopping the down load by putting off the power button , but still did not work . Hence this situation. I tried reporting a problem thro the link in the invoice , but to no success .error is reported . I need a refund and reversal . As I have of no use of the apps . I am no travel agent and tried calling the India office but was told that they had closed for the day . So then I posted this query on the communities to seek help in sorting this issue .....need help .

iPhone 5 seizing randomly-unable to be used
I am not the most technically inclined, so please bear with me. About two months ago, lines began showing up in Safari every now and again. They would go away, so I didn't think too much of it. Then one night, while in a game app, the screen began "flashing" like a strobelight. It couldn't exit the app fully, was blinking half the screen in the app, part of the home screen, etc. You cannot see throught the commotion to use the phone, if the programs can even open. This happened all evening, through the night, and the entire following day. Then it stopped. It was fine when I took it to the AT&T store (the closest Apple store is 45 minutes away, so I wanted to be sure AT&T couldn't do anything for me) but by opening and closing programs and apps, I was able to force it to act up. Of course when I left the store, it worked fine again. It was fine for a few days, acting up only a time or two, but I drove 45 minutes to the Apple store. My Genius Bar member told me it was software based and that I should restore the phone, download the software again, and manually add my media back on. After the four+ hours of downloading and 2+ hours of adding media, it was fine again. That was about two weeks ago. Now it's back. I looked into the diagnostics (what I can see through the noise on the screen) and I have many different errors going on. Googling these errors codes is not providing much information, and again, I am not the best with this stuff. SO:-Is a latestcrash.plist or mediaserverd.plist the same as a panic.plist code? In turn, if they are, will Apple replace the phone as they supposedly do in the case of panic.plist crashes? -I've noticed a bunch of the issues seem related to audio and video functions on the phone. I have AudioToolbox, CoreFoundation, and CoreQuartz codes, for example. Are these things that would justify a replacement? I am sitting through another 4 hour software download right now in order to restore the phone again, but am afraid to lose that diagnostics info, but also cannot see the screen to send any diagnostics info to Apple. Is this something that is software based? Does that mean I am going to be doing this every few weeks? The phone is only 6 months old, but I don't want to let it go and loet the one year manufacturer's warranty. I apologize for being so verbose but I really cannot find anything online that sounds similar to what my phone is doing. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
iPhone 4S-Serial Number of replaced product
Hello everyone! I've got a problem with my iPhone 4S and I hope someone here can give me a hint on how to fix this... Last year in March I was on vacation in Las Vegas (I live in Austria/Europe) and bought a new unlocked iPhone 4S GSM in the Apple Store in the Forum Shops in Las Vegas including AppleCare+ (I just learned that iPhones can only be serviced in the Country where they are bought - my bad). Lately I was browsing through my Apple support profile and noticed that my iPhone was not registered there. So I tried to enter the serial number of the device and got this message:We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us. I knew this could not be true so I called Apple Care here in Austria and first I was told that - according to its serial number - my iPhone has been replaced, and that it never should have been sold. I also was told that I have no chance of getting any service for this device despite the Care Protection Plan because the device is invalid due to its status as "replaced". And last but not least I was told that I could never receive any service for this device because American devices cannot be repaired in Europe (I was not aware of this fact and would have expected the salesperson in the Apple Store to tell me because I definitely told him that I am from Austria). Meanwhile I wrote an email to the store where I bought the iPhone from but it's two days now and I have not received an answer (or any indication that my email was received) yet. Hello, I've had my iPhone 4S since July 2012 and am currently on a 2 year contract with EE in the UK. I've been having a problem for about a week now that came to my attention about last Friday. Basically whenever I dial a number and someone picks up the phone and I begin talking, nobody can hear me? They won't hear me say anything and will simply hang up, I've recalled this happening to several people but I wasn't sure if there was a genuine fix or whether it merited getting a new handset? I've considered taking to direct to EE because the nearest Apple Store is in Manchester, and I only want to travel there if I have good reason to. Is there any known fix for this? i have tried resetting my phone by holding both buttons but have yet to do a full restore (Last resort) Just wondering if anyone knows? -Matt

The iPhone has never supported bluetooth file transfer. This is a known fact. how to preset copyright default in iphone camera iPhone 5
I would like to be able to preset the following information on my iphone 5 camera metadata settings so that they automatically appear on each photos' metadata no matter which app is in use:Photographer name, copyright information, terms of use I am looking to set this as a default, not to set it after the photo is taken (or make a copy with new metadata for export) as is currently offered by so many apps. Considering the ongoing hot debates about copyright infringement and photo sharing, one would think this would be available as a set-up screen under settings/privacy/camera... If it does not currently exist is there a work-around to do this? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.
Battery life-iphone 4
Well I tried turning off the Bluetooth, turning off WIFI, turning off location services, and all Push activity. After all of this my battery lasts about 8 hours. I guess I could keep the phone powered off but I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning the phone. Any studies on the lifespan of an iPhone 4 battery? My applecare warranty runs out in a few months.

It will take me to the sign in and billing account verifcation page but then denies my information which is correct. Can someone tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?

My mom passed me her phone as she couldn't get it to restart. I got it to charge and restart in recovery mode. However, I've tried all steps on this and many other forums and it is stuck in "trying to restore". On the phone, it will blink a white screen, show the apple logo and a progress bar then quickly disappear then on the computer give me error code 9. I have tried 3 different cords, on both my MacBook Air and my iMac. Same results on both computers. She purchased a new phone as she couldn't do without, but would love to fix this phone and give to one of my children. This phone has not been jailbroken. Any help would be sooooo appreciated! Not sure what will happen if I try to take this to Apple.

I can t update apps on my iPhone 4.
Recently whenever I try updating my apps a message pops up saying "sign in required, please sign in to view billing information" so I sign in and it takes me to the payment options page, there I have all my correct data inserted which I checked about 5 times, but it says "access denied, please Chios another payment method". Problem is I don't have mother payment method and I don't see why it can't accepts this one.Note: all my apps are free and I am running ios 6.1.3
iPhone apps not opening-have tried all usual fixes
A few days ago I got my iPhone unlocked from my provider (Telstra) as I am about to travel and wanted to put a country specific sim in it. Since then no non-Apple apps have worked.I have tried (many times) to :- 1. restore from a previous backup (plus multiple syncs) and using different backups2. delete an app and reinstall it3. download a new free app (and when that didn't work I deleted it and retried installing it)4. sign in and out of the app store on the iphone5. sign in and out of the app store on my iMac6. de-authorise and re-authorise my iMac7. wipe the iPhone clean and start with a fresh install8. And reset the device too many times. Nothing I have found on any site has worked. I thought the wipe the phone clean would have done it but it hasn't.I have wasted about 20 hours trying to get this thing working again. If I wasn't going on vacation tomorrow I would be at my provider getting them to fix their mess but I can't. Can anyone help? Please? iPhone 4S (Apps are active - just won't stay open)
Iphone 5 no longer connecting to bluetooth in car
My Iphone 5 has been connected succesfully via bluetooth to my car for the past 5 months (Ford Fiesta). Yesterday I went to use it and it wont connect, I powered off the phone, turned bluetooth on/off still not working. I debonded all phones from the car and went to start afresh but that wont work either. When it is searching for devices it just seems to be stuck? I tried another Iphone 5 in my car and that connected no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas, it clearly must be the phone but wonder what on earth I have done.
Using UK purchased Unlocked iPhone 5 in Germany
I am about to buy an unlocked iPhone 5 direct from Apple here in the UK, which will be pay-as-you-go, and I want to know if I can use a service provider here in the UK for most of the time, but when I travel to Germany (about twice a month) will I be able to swap out the UK SIM and insert a comparable one whilst in Germany, then swap back when I return home? So I had to totally re create a new apple account and Id because I bought something off one of my apps with a prepaid credit card and when I would o to update it would ask for my billing information an I just got past not having to put a credit card but it is using my old apple id to update stuff I don't understand

Sorry I'm new here but I'll try and get as much information on here !My Iphone 5 32g has been having massive problems currently and I would hope that I would noyt have to take it into the Genius Bar until compelte last effort.So what is happening as of now is that my phone will shut down randomly, and also for some reason will not keep a charge even when it is plugged in. I have tried countless restores, and everything I can think of in the book, but nothing is working for me! If anyone could give me some insight to my problem I would appreciate it!

Hello, I have a question concerning the Izone camera. I was asked to install a few of these izone cameras in our building. My only two questions are: Can it function with a WPA2 wifi signal? Or does the Izon only work with WEP?What ports does this camera use? I cannot find any information on specific settings you can apply to this camera, are there even settings you can modify?

to cut a long story short. I was interested in an i-phone... got the details..checked them all.. on the phone and with the provider, VODAPHONE... told unlocked, not stolen etc etc. proceeded to buy the phone...new sim topped up £10 only to find it wouldn't work... Went into vodaphone store..been running around following thier advice..(they said I need a friend who is a customer on vodaphone to get passed the unlocking with a vodaphone code.. and they would do it for free given the circumstances...so i run errands go back and forth doing as they asked...got nowhere) SO IT IS NOW A MONTH LATER..and after complaining and complaining to thier email site and repeatedly asking for help in store..I am stumped as what to do and just have a glorified ipod. I WILL NOT BE FORCED TO REMAIN ON THE VODAPHONE NETWORK given the situation they have put me in and thier unwillingness to help so i refuse to use the phone with vodaphone... BUT WHAT can i do PLEASEEEEEEE? all they keep on suggesting is that I get the original owners details but he is not answering anything...and the phone is not registered as stolen etc so what is the problem!? As you can imagine I am really peeved by the whole thing as I actually carried out all the necessary checks, and whilst the phone was not bought directly from vodaphone, I went to them as the provider, to find otu about unlocking etc as it is always advised to do so..and it was them that gave me the wrong information but they still will not resolve the issue. I have even sent them phone records to confirm when I rung and the name of the invalid who told me the phone was unlocked in the first place. I really would much appreciate any help as they are ignoring my emails now.
home button failure from Day 1 iPhone 5
I got the phone in Feb 2013. The HOME button was rarely useable. But after upgraded to the latest iOS6 then the Home button has been death since then. internet access problem iPhone 4
I just activated an iphone 4 with straight talk aboout a week or two ago and my internet is not working I have called them many times and they finaly told me to contact apple because all the setting information the phone needs is updated and they think it might be just a setting or something that is not right so the internet access can conect.So I'm wondering if you can help me find ot what that setting is or exactly what is going on with the phone that is not letting me get the internet access. It is working on wifi but not coming up with any internet access from the company.
